One night, Ronin became drunk at a bar and was later approached by Soul Archer (using the pseudonym "Sultan Archron"), who offered him another drink. Taking advantage of his inebriated state, Soul Archer tricked Ronin into making a trade that involved his soul.[1]
During his time in Nom, Ronin noted that his investors are slightly intoxicated, which was useful for him. He later noted that the investors were "too tired and too tipsy" to be thinking about money at the moment.
The alcohol drank by the Ship Captain appears to be the same brand of alcohol drank by the drunken pirate on the Destiny's Bounty, as both flasks have an apple on the logo and are the same shape.
Based on the apple logo, it can be assumed that alcoholic beverages in Ninjago are a type of cider.

With the village now under the control of the Ocean gang, the Crab monster was able to freely feast on the algae that had been cultivated by the farmers.
One evening, after driving out a pair of interlopers, members of the Ocean gang were seen passing around plates of algae.

Later, when Wyldfyre, Jay, Lloyd, and Nya's path was blocked by a group of Administration Agents, Jay ordered Lloyd to give him the cake. Lloyd pulled the cake out of his backpack and handed it to Jay. Jay used the cake to stage a fake birthday, allowing them to get away from Allen and Underwood. A few moments later, Underwood and Allen ate slices of the cake while chasing and blasting at the four of them. Once the three ninja and Jay escaped, Allen happily ate the remainder of his slice.

Prior to the events of the eighth season, Cole gave it up, saying that his "body is a temple," and wanting to become more responsible in Master Wu's absence.
This is expanded on in Way of the Departed, where Cole explains, "Eating cake is like muscle memory to me. It's just something I do to occupy my hands and mouth sometimes. I love cake but I think it would be healthy for me to cut back. In several ways."
After his extended time away from real food while stranded in the Realm of Oni and Dragons, Cole rescinded his denouncement of cake and gained a newfound appreciation of it.
According to Tommy Andreasen, if Cole was a YouTuber, his videos would be about "the joys of cake".[2]
Tommy Andreasen jokingly stated that Cole's love interest is cake.[3]
Tommy Andreasen said that because Cole is the Master of Earth, his favorite type of cake would likely be Sand Cake.[4] He later implied that Cole's favorite flavor of cake is Chocolate Ganache.[5]

When the ninja and Twitchy Tim were in the uncharted jungle on the uncharted island, they heard loud growling and then a coconut fell from a tree to the ground, behind which one of the Jungle Dragons jumped down. When the hungry Cole noticed the coconut, he tried to get it, but the dragon threw it away, only to be able to bring it back. When Nya realized he just wanted to play, she threw a coconut and Zippy, as they called the dragon, ran after it and quickly brought it back. However, realizing that they had a more important task, Nya threw a coconut deep into the jungle and Zippy ran after him while the ninja left.
Later, when they were deeper in the jungle, the coconut fell from the tree to Kai's katana. Cole was glad he could finally have a drink, but when Zippy reappeared and licked the coconut, Cole told him he could keep.
When Lloyd was about to save the ninja from the Keepers' Village, Zippy appeared next to him and wanted to play with a coconut. Lloyd was about to throw a coconut into the jungle, but then he noticed the Keepers coming and threw the coconut at them. While the ninja were meditating, Jay was about to eat the last cookie, but Wu knocked it out of his hand and it flew into Zane's hand. He then gave it to Kai and he was about to eat it, but Kai got scared by Wu and it flew out of his hands. The cookie was flying in Cole's direction, but the chicken caught it instead.
The cookies in The Virtues of Spinjitzu may be a reference to Season 14: Seabound, where the phrase "That's the way the cookie crumbles" was a key phrase towards the season.

Donuts[]
“But it's shaped like a donut! I wonder what it tastes like.”
Kai, Cole, Jay, and Lloyd found a plate of cookies behind the noodle house after a conflict with the Anacondrai Cultists. They all looked at the fortunes (Cole eating his cookie whole, fortune and all), which would lead them to enter the Tournament of Elements, and the fortunes vanished (with Cole's fortune vanishing inside him). They left the cookies there as they returned back home.
While making fortune cookies in the noodle factory, Cole writes a note to inform the other ninja that he has found Zane and is in the process of planning an escape. He hides the note in one of the cookies that are to be distributed to the remaining Elemental Masters. Skylor ends up getting the cookie, and she informs Kai of Cole's whereabouts.
According to Peter Hausner, the man pictured on the milk cartons is an inside joke and is based on the animation director Chris Bradley, who worked on Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu from seasons 1 to 7.[11]

The Mechanic states that his new and improved truck has an automatic noodle machine, though he struggles to press the button to operate it. One of his goons helps him press the button, though the mechanic was displeased and threw the noodle cup at his face.
The Ninja rode inside of the Mechanic's Noodle Truck of Crime, with Kai at the wheel and Zane in the passenger seat while Cole and Jay guarded the Mechanic in the cargo hold. After Jay complained that he and Cole's assignment was boring, he began to rife around the various boxes stashed in the cargo hold, discovering that they were full of instant cup noodle soups, including chicken noodle, egg noodle, and minestrone. When the truck stopped, Jay picked out a cup of noodles and asked Zane to place it into the instant noodle maker while Cole began rummaging inside the boxes to pick out a snack as well, leaving all unaware that the Mechanic had detached his mechanical arm to release him from his binds. Meanwhile, Jay expressed his excitement to eat his cup of noodles, lamenting seconds after trying them that the noodles were cold, unaware that the noodle maker only makes cold noodles. His cup of noodles would ultimately be spilled and abandoned after the Mechanic took control over his truck and escaped, forcing the Ninja to pursue him into the sewers.
In an effort to keep up morale amongst the members of the The Resistance as well as the survivors, Skylor began to cook up bowls of noodles, which Kai helped to serve.
The Crossroads was hosting a noodle cook-off, where both Grab-Barg and the Lava-Tides were competing. Excited to witness the culinary showdown, Kai, Cole, Arin, Sora, and Riyu eagerly made their way to the event. However, Cole decided to bring along some noodles from Chen's Noodles House to enjoy during the cook-off, critizing the noodles from the Crossroads. Unfortunately, Sora found this act offensive, as it was considered inappropriate to bring noodles from outside the Crossroads during their own noodle cook-off, according to her perspective. After savoring the noodles he obtained from Grab-Barg, Kai joined the ninja in their fight against the Ice Dragons, who had been provoked by Lava-Tony's theft of their eggs.
After Lava-Tony's oven burst, noodles scattered across the Crossroads, resulting in a week-long cleanup. The ninja, covered in noodles, went back to the Monastery and informed Lloyd about the incident. Cole and Sora enjoyed the combination of noodles from the Crossroads and Chen's Noodle House, while Kai handed Lloyd some noodles tangled in his hair, as he was supposed to bring him lunch.

Dareth walked into Chen's noodle house, demanding that they put the Puffy Potsticker back on the menu. They refused, and Dareth goes outside to follow the trucks. His pursuit accidentally led to him hopping into Nya's disguised DBX and accompanying her to Chen's Island.
After he was captured by Chen's cultists, Dareth decided to use parts of noodle machines to make his own Puffy Potsticker. His mentioning of using spare parts of the machines unwittingly gave Zane the idea to create a Roto Jet, which the Elemental Masters used in their escape.
When Skylor announced to Kai that she will take over her father's noodle business, Dareth overheard Skylor and begged her to put the potsticker back on the menu, and was ecstatic to learn that she will.
While searching for clues about her mother, Skylor tried some potstickers in the village in the valley. According to Chamille, at least six food bloggers say they are the best potstickers in Ninjago, though Skylor disagreed.
They are called Sausages of Strength because immense strength is granted upon eating one, enough to wield the great Golden Long Sword, heavier than most weapons.[citation needed]

The sausage piece is also included as a decorative element in sets, such as 71705 Destiny's Bounty.

After entering a sushi bar inside the Temple of Madness, Jay and Nya were attacked by Monster sushi. Nevertheless, the pair were able to defeat the living sushi pieces by repeatedly slicing them into smaller pieces.
When questioned by Lloyd as to why he wanted to even conquer Ninjago City, Garmadon thought for a moment and believed it was because he enjoyed a really good sushi restaurant there a long time ago. This led to a brief fight on the subject, where Garmadon believed the restaurant's name was "Omakase," though Lloyd insisted that referred to the style of service.
Tuna Gelatin is a type of casserole made by Lobbo, which he claimed to be "world famous."
As its name suggests, it is a casserole whose ingredients implicitly include tuna and gelatin. One particular tray was also specified as having mints in as well. Like all of Lobbo's "world famous" casseroles, it peculiarly belches greenish fumes on occasion.
Multiple trays of casseroles were available as part of the "Endless casserole pit" in Lobbo's Totally Rad Arcade, Lobbo-Lobbo. Although Wyldfyre seemed interested in eating them, a horrified Nya discouraged her from doing so. Later however, Wyldfyre would noisily eat from one of the casserole dishes when Nya wasn't looking and Lobbo would also refill one of the dishes with another tuna gelatin casserole, briefly attempting to offer some to Nya who screamed in terror at the sight of the dish.
