Marcus is one of the Writers of Destiny.
History[]
Dragons Rising, Season 1[]
Writers of Destiny[]
Marcus and Euphrasia were on a tower when a tentacled beast started to destroy it. They nearly fell off of the tower when the ninja came to their rescue. Marcus was then escorted back to the Cloud Kingdom. Suetonius requested Marcus to guide the ninja to the Cloud Kingdom archives. Marcus courteously acknowledged the request and led the ninja towards the designated location. After a brief discussion on storm clouds and ink stains, Marcus and the ninja arrived at the archives. Marcus reassured them that the vast library was no match for the Scroll-Worms. As an example, he requested information on Lloyd from a Scroll-Worm, which quickly retrieved the data. Unfortunately, the information obtained was not to Lloyd's liking.
Marcus apologized, explaining that the archives were known for their detailed records. Nya then requested information on permanently stopping the MergeQuakes from a Scroll-Worm. Following the Scroll-Worm's retrieval of crucial information on the matter, it suddenly ceased its speech and turned red. Marcus, intrigued by the phenomenon, expressed his curiosity as he had never before witnessed such an occurrence. Suddenly, a group of Scroll-Worms launched an attack, ensnaring the ninja and Marcus in cocoons until they were freed by Arin. Nya asked Marcus whether he had any insight into the aggressive behavior of the Scroll-Worms. Marcus responded that it was conceivable that the worms had been cursed to react defensively when restricted information was sought from them. Kai then asked who might have inflicted such a curse. Marcus admitted that he was unaware of the identity of the perpetrator or the methodology employed to execute the curse.
Dragons Rising, Season 2[]
Shattered Dreams[]
After Suetonius asked Marcus what he should say, Marcus stated that the Writers of Destiny can do actions other than writing to impact the world. Shortly after, the Writers of Destiny couldn't write confusing both Marcus and Suetonius and after Suetonius stated that the reason that the Writers of Destiny couldn't write anymore is because of something so dreadful that destiny herself can't stop it from happening. With the Wolf Clan's arrival, Marcus and the other Writers of Destiny were easily defeated. And with Eurphasia's defeat, Marcus and Suetonius quickly followed Ras and Jordana into the Cloud Kingdom archives and tried to stop them but were both soon encased in silk cocoons.
