Marla attended Mr. Kai's history class at the academy, sitting in the middle of the class.
During the field trip to Borg Tower, she and other girls took notice of the Perfect Match machine and encouraged Nya to use it. She assured Nya that the machine would present her match as Jay but was just as stunned as the others to see Cole pop up.
The Curse of the Golden Master[]
After the city-wide power outage, the students of the Academy are taken on a trip to the Ninjago City Aquarium. Marla was talking to Sally and another student in the entrance hall.
