"That's not what happened at all!"

The unnamed man served as the advisor to the mayor of Garmadon City. When the city started turning to stone as a result of nature rebelling against the presence of the Stone Army, the advisor realized what was happening and told the mayor not to evacuate the city, believing the ninja would help them. After the city and its inhabitants were turned to stone, the advisor was the only one who retained his memories and began to study the Stone Army. After the ninja arrived in the city, he had them arrested but they later escaped and thwarted the advisor's plans before he was reverted back to human.
History[]
Prior to Warriors of Stone[]
The advisor was once a human being serving as the advisor to the mayor of Garmadon City, a town named after Garmadon before his corruption. At some point, the entire town and the surrounding forest began turning to stone as a result of nature attempting to warn itself about the Stone Army. The mayor intended to evacuate the town, but the advisor told him otherwise, telling him that the ninja would help them. In reality, the advisor realized what was truly happening and began to study the Stone Army, reading several cravings in the tunnels beneath the city that told the history of the Stone Warriors. After the city was completely petrified, the advisor was the only person who retained his memories and knew what truly happened to the town and its people.
At some point, he promised gold to a chicken farmer if he plucked the feathers of chickens and placed them into a pipe, leading to an underground prison.
Warriors of Stone[]
After the ninja arrived in Garmadon City and began looking for answers, the advisor used a giant hand to capture Wu, then gloated, vowing to destroy anyone that wasn't transformed. Shortly afterwards, he confronted the ninja and had them arrested and sent to prison.
In the tunnels, the advisor reflected over the events of the city with the transformed Wu, explaining how he was the only one who realized what was truly happening and retained his memories and personality as a result.
The ninja later discovered the truth behind the village from a farmer in an area that wasn't turned to stone and later received a note leading them to the sculptors shop, where, after being attacked by the transformed Wu and managing to bring him to consciousness, Wu warned them that the answers were in tunnels beneath the city. As the ninja continued on, they found a portrait of the mayor and his advisor, finally realizing the identity of the stone man, and arrived to the mayor's house, where they find a hidden entrance to caverns underneath the furnace.
The Advisor then confronted the ninja with the controlled villagers, Kai and Cole were forced to fight them off while Zane deciphered the prophecy written on the walls of the tunnels. Translating for Jay, he discovered the story of the Stone Army and how they had been entombed by the First Spinjitzu Master.
To Zane's horror, he discovered a prophecy that foretold four ninja being utterly defeated by the Stone Army. Upon this revelation, the stone effect was reversed as a result of the ninja being successfully warned of the Stone Warriors' return. The Advisor, panicked, attempted to escape and figure out a way to prolong his powers, but was confronted by Wu and reprimanded.
