The Mech Jet was a ninja vehicle owned by Kai. It was used by Kai to compete in the Speedway Five-Billion. It was built as a jet, however, a loot box acquired during the race turns it into a mech, which Kai uses to take out some of the racers. It was destroyed when Kai and Cole sacrifice themselves to stop the Red Visors.

Racer Seven

When the ninja come to Scott for vehicles to use in the Speedway Five-Billion, he introduces them to the Mech Jet, the flying speeder, the racing bike, and the Ninja Tuner Car, which are all in need of repair. While Lloyd scopes out the race track, Kai works to fix the jet, just in time for the race to begin.

The Speedway Five-Billion

The vehicles are finished just as the race is set to begin, though the Red Visors locate Scott's garage and begin to fire upon it. Kai and Cole hop on board the Jet, as Scott manages to hold them off, allowing the ninja to enter the race. They get to the track just as the race starts. The Red Visors infiltrate the race to chase the ninja down. Cole manages to jump onto one of the Whack Rat's Speeder Cars, as Kai drives the jet into a loot box, which transforms it into a Mech. Kai and Cole both realize that there are too many Red Visors on the track and collectively decide that the team stands a better chance of winning than them. They ram their vehicles into the Red Visors' cars and the Mech is destroyed in an explosion, which takes out the Red Visors and its pilot.

The Mech Jet is seen on instant replay as it crashes with one of the Speeder Cars as well as a couple of the Red Visors' Cars.

• This was both the second mech and jet Kai has had, with the first mech being the Fire Mech, and the first jet being the Kai Fighter.
• This vehicle was similar to the Transformers, as it changes from a vehicle to a robot-like form.
