The MergeQuake Storm was a giant MergeQuake spanning across all the Merged Realms created by Empress Beatrix with the MergeQuake weapon in her desperate attempt to destroy the ninja during the MergeQuake Battle.[2]

Prelude[]
Having lost the respect of the Imperians when the Resistance pirated incriminating footage of her admitting to have her father killed and her sister banished to take the throne, spreading false rumors, and demanding dragons to be drained against their will, Beatrix used a weapon called the MergeQuake weapon with two Dragon Cores and one made by Jordana to eliminate the ninja, managing to succeed in pulling innocent citizens including Percival Tartigrade and Rapton, Kai, Wyldfyre, and Riyu, until Sora, achieving her True Potential, disassembled the weapon and destroyed the artificial Dragon Cores before Arin, vengeful for Riyu, sent Beatrix into a MergeQuake rift.
The Power Within[]
As the storm occurred, the ninja head for the Crossroads to rescue the people before they're caught up in it. After saving a dog, Arin saw his parents in a rift before it closes when they see him. Needing all three Dragons Cores since they only had the Purple and Yellow Cores, Zane already had Alfonzo Frohicky bring the Pink Core before Lloyd uses them to end the storm and bring back all who were pulled in by it, including Kai, Wyldfyre, Riyu, Rapton, and Percival.
Aftermath[]
The ninja made themselves known to Ninjago after being seemingly lost to the Merge years earlier. Later, Lloyd and Riyu used the cores to free the Source Dragon of Energy.
