Mid-Air Mayhem! is a Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu comic from the March–April 2012 issue of the LEGO Club Magazine.
Plot[]
Aboard the Destiny's Bounty, Jay and Zane noticed Kai coming back in quite a rush. The Red Ninja was holding Lloyd, who has claimed the Fangpyre Staff. The Rattlecopter was in hot pursuit. Kai dropped Lloyd onto Destiny's Bounty and rejoined the other Ninja as they prepared to fend off the Serpentine's attack.
Skales and Slithraa jump from the Rattlecopter and advance on the Destiny's Bounty, while the Rattlecopter covers them with missile fire. After the missiles fly past their target, Zane mans the ship's cannon and knocks the Rattlecopter into the water. Fearing capture, Skales and Slithraa retreat, leaving the Ninja victorious.
Trivia[]
- This comic is primarily based on the 9443 Rattlecopter set, with some elements of 9446 Destiny's Bounty included. However, Lord Garmadon does not appear, and the Golden Weapons play no significant role.
