Miss Demeanor is a criminal and mercenary in Ninjago who is paid to smuggle Vengestone across the island.
History[]
A Big Splash[]
Miss Demeanor was employed to smuggle Vengestone for her boss, who told her to meet them near the farmers' village. But before she could meet her contact and get paid, she was ambushed by the ninja. Despite this, she acted very ecstatic, stating that she worked so hard for a moment like this. She attempted to escape and mocked the ninja as they tried to stop her. Nya then tried to create a water tornado to stop her, but she lost control and it ended up threatening the farmers. Due to this, Miss Demeanor escaped while the ninja had to deal with stopping the water tornado.
Like Son, Like Father[]
Having been hired to capture the ninja, Miss Demeanor and her henchmen swapped the medal being awarded at Dareth's karate tournament for one made of vengestone, hoping that one or more of the ninja would hear of and participate in the tournament. Fortunately, Kai and his father took part in the tournament, quashing the competition, and ending with Kai as champion! With her trap now sprung, Miss Demeanor and her goons revealed themselves to the ninja of fire as he unwittingly put on the vengestone medal. Although Kai tried to remove it, Miss Demeanor activated her remote control, locking the medal to Kai's neck. Unfortunately, Kai and Ray simply used their martial arts prowess to just as effortlessly crush Miss Demeanor's goons as they had all their prior challengers, forcing the mercenary to flee.
The Sea Beast! (non-canon)[]
At Ninjago Harbor, Miss Demeanor and her henchmen attend an auction so they could buy a sea monster from Ronin, planning to use it to attack the citizens of Ninjago. The ninja found out about Miss Demeanor's intentions and confronted her. Miss Demeanor, however, fights the ninja. By using the trash that they collected when they were cleaning the beach, the ninja defeated Miss Demeanor and her goons. Miss Demeanor soon learned that the sea monster was fake and was arrested by the Ninjago Police.
Bad Water![]
After discovering a vein of vengestone that had been unearthed by the Great Flood, Miss Demeanor and her henchmen got to work, employing the use of a fracking machine to extract the vein. In doing so, they dumped their chemical waste byproducts into the adjacent river, unaware that the river served as Ninjago City's water supply. When the ninja investigated Ninjago City's contaminated water supply, their search led them to Miss Demeanor's mining operation, immediately instigating a fight where the ninja used their spinjitzu against Miss Demeanor and her goons. Although they were able to briefly drive back the ninja by spraying them with polluted water, the ninja returned with their vehicles to turn the tide of battle. With the loss of the fracking machine, Miss Demeanor abandoned her goons to their fate and fled.
Farewell the Sea[]
Miss Demeanor was in the middle of settling a deal to acquire Vengestone when she was ambushed by the New Ninja. She was shocked to see the group in neon colors and criticized the way they appeared. Despite the New Ninja putting up a good fight, Miss Demeanor was able to escape with the Vengestone.
The Shape of Nya[]
Miss Demeanor arrived at the N line to pick up the latest shipment of Vengestone, only to find the ninja there. They attempt to fight her goons, but were out of shape and easily defeated. When the New Ninja showed up, she interrupted their arrival catchphrase before sending her goons after them. She fought the Teal Ninja, but was defeated when her flamethrower was damaged, sending her flying all over the tunnel before finally stopping, being arrested shortly afterwards.

Etymology[]
Her name, Demeanor, means "outward behavior," which appears to describe her personality. Her full name, Miss Demeanor, is a play on the word "misdemeanour". In the French and the Czech translations, her name is "Miss Dynamite" and "Slečna Drsňačka" because the pun wouldn't work in French and Czech. In German her name is "Miss Achtung" which can be translated as disrespect.
Behind the scenes[]
- Unlike other characters with a mohawk, she lacks the back of one, which should cover the back of the head.
- She is voiced by Erin Mathews, who also voiced Macy Halbert from Nexo Knights and even uses similar voices for both characters.
- The built-in flamethrowers in her suit resemble those of Pyro (St. John Allerdyce) from Marvel Comics.
Trivia[]
- She is the sixth notable Ninjago character to have a mohawk, the first five being Nuckal, Eyezor, Mohawk, Jet Jack, and Avatar Lloyd.
- She is similar to Jet Jack, as they are both female villains working for someone bigger, they are young and wild women with mohawks and eyewear covering their eyes, although in the case of Demeanor it is temporary.
- She states that she is a "city girl", implying she prefers city life or grew up around the city.
- She also states that she dislikes the country.
- She has a similar face print to Harumi's Quiet One form.
- She seems to enjoy fighting the ninja, who surprisingly have failed to beat her twice (without assistance from other groups).
- It is unknown why she wasn't in Kryptarium Prison in "Ninjago City vs. Ninja" onwards.
