“It is the history of Ninjago. A history in which all of you played a significant role.”
Wu to the Ninja, "The Darkness Comes"

The Monastery Mural is a painting on the walls that portrays some of the key moments in Ninjago's history that the Ninja played a role in.

Notes

  • Many events of the previous seasons are shown, as well as the main villains and focus Ninja of the seasons.
    • When Wu showed the painting of Skybound, both Dareth and Kai seemed confused while Jay and Nya recalled the events since they were the only ones that do so. It also showed Wu is aware of the events, despite them being undone.
  • The reason why there is no mural of "Day of the Departed" is that it is a short and small event that does not have an impact on the land of Ninjago.[1]
  • A vastly simplified version of the Mural appears as stickered elements on the walls of the Legacy Monastery remake.
  • In the Season 10 intro, the Dark Island Trilogy is shown before Season 6, and Lloyd is seen wearing his suit from Season 9 in the Season 8 mural.
