Monster Hunt Chaos! is the 105th issue of the Ninjago Magazine. It includes 892309 Lord Ras and Merge Kai and Lloyd appear on the cover. It was released on the 8th of August 2023 in Germany.
One Ninja Alone...?[]
Walking through the Crossroads Lloyd think about the changes made by the Merge and on his future as a ninja, wondering how he can pass on his knowledge without students and deciding for the time being to be an example among the chaos and only solve minor disputes.
His first situation occurs when he sees a Sky Pirate (apple juice seller) and a Geckle (moss milk seller) arguing about how both have been stealing each other's customers, so he suggests that both mix their products and sell them together, something to which both merchants agree and begin to have success.
A few blocks ahead a convoy of Imperium Claw Hunters led by Rapton begins to get ready to hunt dragons by disguising themselves as workers,
At the Crossroads the mixed drink business begins to popularize until a MergeQuake rift opens and begins to absorb the nearby things. The Hunters take advantage of the commotion to capture two small Mountain Dragons and lock them in a truck. From the open rift a crab-like beast appears and tries to catch the people nearby, so Lloyd grabs a nearby cable and saves the people. He then stabs the tip of a nearby building into a Skulkin vehicle owned by a pair of Venomari to prevent them from being sucked into the rift and finally fights the crab beast with his Energy and Spinjitzu, closing the rift.
Elsewhere Rapton reports his mission to Ras as a partial failure due to the appearance of the fusiseismic rift and Lloyd's appearance. Ras only orders that he be kept under close surveillance so that he does not ruin his plans again.

Trivia[]
- The comic takes place shortly before "The Merge: Part 1," it shows the Claws of Imperium capturing two baby mountain dragons, and one of them resembles Riyu. If this is indeed Riyu, then:
- It unknown how Riyu got from the Land of the Three Mountains to the Crossroads on his own.
- It seems like the comic contradicts the book The New Heroes as the book itself tells another story of Riyu's abduction.
- The crabbed beasts' appearance is inspired by the tentacled beasts.
- One of the background characters is very similar to the Captain Jonas from Hidden Side.[1]
