Murt is a member of the Munce.
History[]
The Worst Rescue Ever[]
Cole initiates a conversation with Murt by introducing himself and asking about Murt's name and how long he was captured. Murt responded by stating that he has been there for a long period similar to Cole. Cole clarified that he has just arrived. Murt reaffirmed that he had also been there for a prolonged period, not listening to Cole's correction. Cole attempted to initiate another conversation with Murt, but the latter refused and turned away since the Earth Ninja was talked to Gliff. Gliff intervened, describing Murt as a dishonest Munce and advised Cole to ignore him. This led Murt and the other Munce to argue with the Geckles until Glop Time.
During Glop Time, Cole asked Murt whether there were any other Munce who possessed a higher level of intelligence than himself. Murt responded by asserting his own intellectual, as well as that of several others Munce. Cole then noted the prevalence of "M" names among all Munce, to which Murt acknowledged the pattern, citing Cole's name as an example, which he mistakenly pronounced as "Mole." Cole corrected him, saying that his name is spelled with a "C." Murt repeated the name as "Mole," to which Cole reiterated the correct pronunciation, but to no avail. Later, the ninja freed Murt and the other prisoners, but their triumph was short-lived as a Geckle bumped into Murt. Murt questioned the ninja's motives for rescuing the Geckles, to which led another fight between the Geckles and Munce. Amidst the feud, Cole struggled to get everyone to move, but eventually, Murt complied and ran, only for the Skull Sorcerer to recapture him.
The Two Blades[]
Murt provided Lloyd with a bowl of food. Gliff, however, cautioned Lloyd against accepting gifts from Munce. Murt retaliated by accusing Gliff of stealing the Shadow Blade of Deliverance. As Lloyd questioned the reason behind the Geckles and Munce's animosity towards each other, Gliff went on to tell the story of the Two Blades of Deliverance, but Murt kept interrupting whenever Gliff pronounced all the names with a "G."
Later, the ninja successfully liberated the Munce, including Murt, who was subsequently able to escape alongside Nya, Jay, and Lloyd through the same tunnel.
Queen of the Munce[]
As they traverse the Dungeons of Shintaro, Murt led Nya, Lloyd, Jay, and the Munce through the winding tunnels. However, their progress was abruptly halted as Murt confessed to being disoriented. Jay expressed his disbelief, as Murt was previously thought to be intimately familiar with the tunnels. Murt appeared perplexed as he examined his hand, before suggesting one of three possible directions. Lloyd reminded Murt of the urgency of their situation, prompting Murt to point behind them. The group was dismayed that they were lost until they found footprints, allowing them to arrive at the Munce Home-Cave. The Munce Sentries promptly halted Murt and demanded to know his name. Confused, Murt inquired about the location to which the sentries were referring. Lloyd clarified that the sentries were referring to Murt himself.
The sentries recognized Murt as the son of Murt and questioned how he managed to escape from the Skull Sorcerer. Murt gestured towards the ninja, indicating that they had helped him escape. Inside the Throne Room, Murt informed Queen Murtessa that he had escaped with the help of the ninja from the Vengestone mines. Murtessa was curious to know how he managed to escape from there, so Murt narrated the entire incident with wild gestures, explaining how the captive Munce were mining when the Skull Sorcerer and the Dark Skeletons attacked the ninja. He further explained how the ninja fought and beat the Skull Sorcerer, leading to their freedom.
Grief-Bringer[]
During a discussion regarding the truce meeting between Geckles and Munce, Murt argued with the other Munce. Additionally, Murt and the others disregarded the input of the ninja regarding the importance of collaboration between the Geckles and Munce in order to defeat the Skull Sorcerer. During the course of the argument, Murt proceeded to elevate the dining table on which a Munce was standing. However, the Munce was subsequently struck by a stream of water emanating from Nya, which immediately captured the attention of Murt and the other Munce, who agreed for to have the truce meeting with the Geckles.
As the ninja and Munce proceeded toward the truce meeting, Murt equipped himself with a form of protective gear. Additionally, he apprised Nya of the Munce's protocol, stating that as the newly appointed Munce Queen, it was imperative for her to be carried on her throne by the Munce. During the truce meeting between the Munce and the Geckles, Murt and his fellow Munce displayed hostility toward the Geckles. However, the situation was diffused by Kai and Nya, who were able to calm the two tribes down. Upon hearing a deafening roar coming from Grief-Bringer, Murt and the others compelled to flee from the undead dragon as Zane and Lloyd tried to hold it off.
The Darkest Hour[]
Murt, the other Munce, the Geckles, and the ninja make their way to the Geckle Strong-Cave in an attempt to escape from the pursuing Re-Awakened. Upon reaching the cave's entrance, they encounter a problem as the chain holding the entrance was jammed. Murt, Nya, and Murtessa used their weapons to sever the chain and gain access to the safety of the cave. Inside the cave, tensions began to escalate between the Munce and Geckles, as the two tribes find themselves in close quarters. However, the imminent threat of the Re-Awakened forced them to put their differences aside and work together. As the Re-Awakened relentlessly try to break down the entrance, the Munce and Geckles collaborate in a desperate attempt to find an alternative exit.
Unfortunately, their efforts prove futile as they discover that there was no other way out. With their hopes dwindling, the Munce and Geckles realize the gravity of the situation and sincerely apologize to each other. Recognizing the need for unity, they made amend. But as they did, the Skull Sorcerer arrived as the entrance was destroyed. Murt, Murtessa, the Geckles, and the ninja, prepare themselves for an impending battle. Unexpectedly, Lloyd decided to accept the Skull Sorcerer's proposition, but under the condition that the tribes are spared. The ninja surrender themselves to the Skull Sorcerer. However, Skull Sorcerer betrayed their agreement and captured Murt and the tribes.
