In 2016, a virtual Museum was released on LEGO.com to promote the upcoming "Day of the Departed" special, featuring characters, vehicles, locations, and weapons from Ninjago up to the sixth season. According to Tommy Kalmar, all information from the Museum is canon.

Pilot Season: Masters of Spinjitzu

Long before time had a name, the NINJAGO world was created by the First Spinjitzu Master by using the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu; weapons so powerful, no one could handle all of their power at once. When he passed away, his two sons swore to protect them, but the oldest, Lord Garmadon, was consumed by darkness and wanted to possess them all. A battle between brothers broke out. Lord Garmadon was defeated and banished to the Underworld. Peace returned to the island as the younger brother, Wu, hid the Golden Weapons in the far corners of NINJAGO Island. Centuries later, Wu seeks out four brave boys – Cole, Jay, Kai and Zane – whom he trains in the art of Spinjitzu to become protectors of the Golden Weapons. Kai is the last one to be recruited by Wu. When Kai meets Wu for the first time, Samukai and his evil Skeleton Army show up to kidnap Kai’s sister, Nya, and steal the map showing the location of the Golden Weapons. Behind the kidnapping is Lord Garmadon, who is controlling the Underworld. The fire ignites within Kai. He is determined to save Nya, so he follows Wu to join the rest of the ninja. Cole, Jay, Kai and Zane use their ninja training in defeating the Skeleton Army, naturally learning the art of Spinjitzu. Although the ninja successfully survive a harrowing quest to retrieve the Golden Weapons, they fall into Lord Garmadon’s master plan, allowing him to escape the Underworld through a portal to the Dark Realm, with hope that he one day would return with the ability to possess all four weapons. Peace returns to NINJAGO Island, while the four ninja swear to protect the Golden Weapons… Awaiting Lord Garmadon’s arrival.

	Master Wu	Master Wu, son of the First Spinjitzu Master and little brother to Garmadon, has vowed to uphold his father’s legacy and protect NINJAGO from evil. An expert in the art of Spinjitzu and the ways of the ninja, Wu shares his knowledge with his students and tries hard to impart his wisdom! He is a patient and peaceful man that enjoys a good cup of tea, but don’t let his old age fool you! This Master is still lightning-fast and more powerful than most ninja. Wu seeks out the son of an old friend and tries to train him as a ninja. Kai, his new recruit, must learn patience…and so does Wu. While he has confidence in all four of his students, it seems they need time to master Spinjitzu. In the end, Wu learns that to protect NINJAGO there are sacrifices that only he must bear.
	Kai	Kai’s impulsive personality, fierce temper and immense drive mirror the fire within him. His strong sense of justice makes him stubborn and he’ll stop at nothing if he has put his mind to it… but this is also the source of his bravery. As older brother to Nya, he is overprotective of her. While Kai’s self-confidence can be overwhelming to some people, this makes him one of the leaders and big personalities in the group. Kai is the last young ninja to join Master Wu’s ninja training. His impatience with training is significant, as Lord Garmadon has kidnapped his sister. However, while he quickly becomes a skilful warrior and is the first to tame his dragon, he discovers that impatience is the enemy of a great ninja…
	Jay	Jay is an inventive, fast-talking and fun ninja. He loves to build and fly hang-gliders, so the chance to learn to fly himself using Airjitzu is an exciting one. Jay is always ready with a joke when things get too tense. He wields the power of lightning. Jay is captivated by Kai’s sister, Nya, and struggles with his feelings, especially when her overprotective big brother is around. He learns that he can apply his ninja training directly into combat. Inevitably, it is the Ninja of Lightning who is the first to master the art of Spinjitzu."Let's chop-socky this lemonade stand!"
	Zane	Once the White Ninja, Zane is an intelligent and powerful nindroid (ninja robot) that fills the role of the computer intelligence in the group. He was created by the Tinkerer, Dr. Julien, to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Dedicated to the qualities of peace, freedom and courage, this rational ninja is brave, caring and has a big heart…even though he doesn’t have one! Before Wu brought the ninja together, Zane lived the life of a loner, thinking himself a flesh and blood orphan. He finds being part of a big group of different personalities tricky, but overcomes it with humour and a little help from his friends.
	Cole	Wielding the elemental power of earth, Cole possesses immense physical strength that comes in handy in difficult situations. Cole may have quit the family trade of singing and dancing because he never felt that he could make his father proud, but he still has the moves. He may ooze confidence, but the Ninja of Earth is suitably grounded. He loves the simple life – the outdoors, rock-climbing, old-school tech and most importantly: cake.Cole is the calm center of the team. However, there is one thing that he’s afraid of – dragons! He has to overcome his fears to ride his Earth Dragon, learning that they’re not that scary and a great way to enter the Underworld.
	Nya	After a long time of wishing she could be a true part of the ninja team, Nya created the identity of Samurai X. She is skilled at inventing and building things and always yearns to be a bigger part of the action. When she gets the opportunity to be more than she is, she will have to decide how much of her past she will give up to have a better future. Nya has been living a quiet life with her brother Kai in the family’s Blacksmith Shop. When Samukai and his Skeleton Army attack, she develops a taste for adventure. Her independence and fearlessness grow by the minute. Nya is ready for action!
	Garmadon	Bitten by the Great Devourer as a child, Wu’s brother slowly filled with evil to become Lord Garmadon, the arch nemesis of good ninja everywhere. When his son Lloyd defeated the Overlord, he was finally freed of the poison that flowed through his veins! Master Garmadon has now taken the oath of peace. He helps mentor the ninja, though his training methods are very different from Wu’s. Garmadon is a man of tradition and doesn’t like modern technology at all. Evil mastermind Lord Garmadon is trapped in the Underworld, so he orders Samukai to find all four Golden Weapons. But when the four-armed skeleton king recovers them, he tries to take their power for himself, only to be instantly vaporised! This opens a portal to another realm, giving Lord Garmadon a possibility to escape. He knew that their power would corrupt even the most loyal henchman. This was his plan all along!
	Samukai	The four-armed leader of the Skeleton Army, Samukai was the ruler of the Underworld prior to Garmadon’s arrival there. He formed an uneasy alliance with Garmadon to conquer NINJAGO and obtain the four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu. Samukai led the Skeleton Army to the surface, but he was often frustrated by just how dense many of his troops were. When he attempted to use all four Golden Weapons at once, he was destroyed by the energy discharge.
	Kruncha	Kruncha is one of Samukai’s generals. He is in a constant rivalry with Nuckal for Samukai’s favor, but since neither one is talented or intelligent, they cannot top each other. Armed with two golden hatchets, Kruncha is famous for his great strength. He and Nuckal were frequently sent on missions together, despite the fact that they argued all the time. The one thing they did have in common was an affection for the surface world, particularly NINJAGO City. Sometimes they went up just to hang out and have fun (though this usually led to trouble).
	Nuckal	Another of Samukai’s generals, Nuckal specializes in getting into trouble and annoying everyone, particularly Kruncha. He really wanted to be Samukai’s number two skeleton, and might have been if he had been able to count as high as two. Nuckal carries a golden double-bladed axe. He and Kruncha were often dispatched together on missions, despite the fact that they argued constantly about just about everything. Nuckal was enthusiastic about invading NINJAGO because it gave him a chance to spend time on the surface, which is a much more fun place than the Underworld.
	Bonezai	Bonezai has one of the most important jobs in the Skeleton Army. He is the chief designer in charge of making sure the Skeleton Army vehicles are faster and more powerful than anything else. Unfortunately, since Bonezai doesn’t talk, he is never able to explain his design changes to anyone and sometimes that results in really bad mistakes in construction (weapons that fire backwards, brakes that make the vehicle go faster, etc.)
	Frakjaw	Frakjaw works closely with Bonezai, although he often wishes he did not. Frakjaw is the official “test dummy” of the Skeleton Army, trying out Bonezai’s new vehicles. The idea is that if Frakjaw only gets blown up a little, the vehicle is safe to use.
	Chopov	Chopov is one of the key members of the Skeleton Army. It’s his job to keep all the Skeleton Army vehicles in top shape. He is respected for his skills as a mechanic, but like Bonezai, he does not talk. As a result, he can never tell anyone what he has fixed or what other problems he may have spotted. Drivers usually find out somewhere down the road when things go boom.
	Krazi	Wild and insane, no one ever knows what is going to happen when Krazi appears on the scene. Carrying his golden bone into battle, he is completely unpredictable and even the Ninja were cautious when they had to face him. Krazi has one big advantage over his comrades: he’s the only Skeleton soldier who can talk. So no matter how much Kruncha and Nuckal might want to ignore him, they just can’t.

	Nuckal's ATV	Skeleton Army vehicle driven by Nuckal, once used in a failed attempt to kidnap Nya. The ATV featured four oversized wheels, capable of handling any terrain, flame exhausts, four-wheeled suspension and a missile launcher.
	Skull Motorbike	One of Chopov’s favourite vehicles, the Skull Motorbike is a twin-engined beast, capable of enormous speed. Its skull framework was designed to be able to flip forward like a fly swatter, crushing any opposing vehicle that got too close. Chopov enjoyed this feature so much that he sometimes used it on other Skeleton Army vehicles just for fun.
	Skull Truck	The Skull Truck is the largest of the Skeleton Army vehicles. It has a large, monstrous skull face on the front whose jaws move, and a bone fist on the back that can be extended on a chain to grab onto people. Kruncha rode in this vehicle during the assault on the Four Weapons Blacksmith Shop.
	Turbo Shredder	Powerful vehicle used by the Skeleton Army. It had oversized rear wheels and all-terrain treads on the front. Driven by Frakjaw, it was used in a failed attempt to steal the Scythe of Quakes. The Turbo Shredder was later drawn into the ninja’s Tornado of Creation and has not been seen since.

Locations

	Blacksmith Shop	This small business, also known as The Four Weapons, originally belonged to Kai and Nya’s parents. It was renowned for the quality of its product, particularly the swords, which were incredibly durable. After Lord Garmadon was banished to the Underworld, Wu hid the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu and created a map to their locations. He entrusted the map to Kai’s father, who hid it in the shop (thus the name The Four Weapons). After his death, Kai and Nya took over running the shop.
	Caves of Despair	Hiding place of one of the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu, the Scythe of Quakes. This was the first location to which the ninja traveled in search of the Golden Weapons. The caves are part of one of the largest mountains on NINJAGO Island and stretch for kilometers. Samukai ordered a Skeleton Army mining operation here in an effort to find the weapon, which resulted in the laying of railroad tracks, the carving of new tunnels and the construction of Skeleton Army watchtowers. The ninja succeeded in finding the Scythe first, but it was guarded by an Earth Dragon. The creature eventually became Cole’s mount.
	Fire Temple	This ancient temple is constructed inside an active volcano near the Forest of Tranquility. It was the hiding place for the Sword of Fire and a Fangblade was buried inside the volcano itself. There was an access point to the Underworld behind a lava fall, but Kai destroyed it. The Fire Temple was home to the mighty Fire Dragon, who guarded the Sword of Fire. Later, when the Serpentine traveled to its inner core to retrieve the Fangblade, the volcano was very unstable. The ninja's elemental powers initiated the explosive eruption.

	Forest of Tranquility	One of the largest and most beautiful woodlands in the NINJAGO world, and site of the Fangpyre Tomb. The Fire Temple is located at the outskirts of this forest. Although wildlife abounds in the forest, including tigers and bears, it tends to be harmless. The forest does indeed exude a peaceful feeling and it can be difficult for a visitor to say goodbye to his surroundings when it is time to go. It was here that the Skeleton Army ambushed the ninja and stole three of the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu.
	Frozen Wasteland	Hiding place of one of the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu, the Shurikens of Ice. Bordered by an icy sea, the Frozen Wasteland is an inhospitable place inhabited only by the hardiest of creatures. It is partially forested, but much of it is ice-covered mountains, treacherous cliffs, and dangerous crevasses. A fierce Ice Dragon guarded the shurikens within the Ice Temple. The ninja finally succeeded in retrieving the weapon and Zane tamed the Ice Dragon so that he could ride it.
	Garmadon's Dark Fortress	A castle in the Underworld, which served as Garmadon’s base of operation during the time he was exiled there. This fortress previously belonged to Samukai, but he was deposed from it when Garmadon took over the realm. This gloomy edifice still stands in the Underworld, now home to the Skeleton Army generals.
	Monastery of Spinjitzu	A small temple in the Mountains of Impossible Height range, which formerly served as the home for the First Spinjitzu Master and his sons, Wu and Garmadon. The battle between the two youths took place here, leading to Garmadon’s banishment to the Underworld. The monastery could be reached only via a winding staircase that scaled the mountain. Carved into the rock below the monastery were pens where the four ninja kept their dragons. The monastery was eventually burnt down by the Hypnobrai.
	The Underworld	The Underworld is the realm of the dead, populated by fallen warriors who have never fully realized or accepted their passing. It is home to the Skeleton Army, also known as the Skulkin. The Underworld is a dark place, where land masses float in mid-air and are connected by bridges constructed by the Skeletons. Dragons and Skeleton vehicles are able to travel between the NINJAGO world and the Underworld. Once there was a passageway to the Underworld inside the Fire Temple, but it was destroyed by Kai. Lord Garmadon’s Dark Fortress is still located here, symbolizing the fall of the late Samukai who once ruled the Underworld.

	The Nunchucks of Lightning	One of the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu. Jay was destined to wield this weapon and be its guardian. It was retrieved by him in the Floating Ruins, where it was being guarded by Wisp the Lightning Dragon. The nunchucks could shoot lightning bolts and power machines. The Nunchucks of Lightning could transform into the Storm Fighter.
	The Scythe of Quakes	One of the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu. Cole was destined to wield this weapon and be its guardian. The scythe could cut through stone and cause earthquakes. It could also transform into the Tread Assault vehicle. Garmadon later used the Scythe and the other three golden weapons to make his Mega Weapon. Cole retrieved this weapon from the Caves of Despair, where it was guarded by Rocky the Earth Dragon.
	The Shurikens of Ice	One of the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu. Zane was destined to wield this weapon and be its guardian. The shurikens could be used to freeze objects, fire ice beams, and could also transform into a Snowmobile. Along with the other three weapons, the Shurikens were used to make Garmadon’s Mega Weapon. Zane retrieved the Shurikens of Ice in the Frozen Wasteland, where they were guarded by Shard the Ice Dragon.
	The Sword of Fire	One of the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu. Kai, as the ninja of Fire, was destined to wield the Sword of Fire and be its guardian. Kai retrieved it from the Fire Temple, where it was guarded by Flame the Fire Dragon. The sword was able to hurl fireballs at foes and could transform into the Blade Cycle. The Sword of Fire looked like a golden katana with a dragon head design on the hilt.

Season One: Rise of the Serpentine

Since Lord Garmadon’s disappearance from the Underworld, NINJAGO Island has been at peace but the young ninja have grown lazy. While Garmadon lurks in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike, the ninja meet his young son, Lloyd, who carelessly unleashes a fearsome new enemy upon NINJAGO Island – the ancient tribes of the Serpentine. The leader of the Serpentine, Pythor, hatches an evil plan to bring back the legendary, all-consuming snake, the Great Devourer. The ninja have to look within their hearts to unlock their full potential. The very existence of NINJAGO Island is at stake! Not only do the ninja have to deal with the Serpentine’s uprising, but they also have to take on babysitting duties when it is discovered that Lloyd would be the prophesized Green Ninja: the powerful ninja destined to defeat the Dark Lord in the final battle between good and evil. Over the course of the season, each ninja makes an important discovery about themselves, allowing them to unlock their elemental powers. To defeat the Great Devourer, the ninja have to rely on help from Lord Garmadon and his unique ability to wield all Four Golden Weapons. In the end, Lord Garmadon disappears with the Four Golden Weapons; the very weapons he needs in order to turn NINJAGO Island into his evil image…

	Master Wu	As the ultimate battle between good and evil approaches, Master Wu begins to suspect there might be some good left inside his evil brother, Lord Garmadon. Still, he must be stopped! As he struggles with conflicting emotions, Wu comes to recognize that things aren’t always black and white.
	Kai	When the prophecy of the Green Ninja is revealed, Kai is absolutely convinced that he will be the Chosen One and defeat Lord Garmadon in the final battle. In the end, Kai has to put his ego to one side. He discovers that life has a different plan for him and there are more important things than being the best.
	Jay	The chattiest of the group becomes tongue-tied when his crush on Nya begins to crush him! Can he go from funny-man to Romeo and capture her heart? Instead, Jay learns that instead of trying to impress people by being someone you’re not, it’s best to just be yourself.
	Zane	At the start, this stoic intellectual feels different from the others but doesn’t know why. An orphan with a mysterious past, he will go to the ends of NINJAGO to answer the age-old question, “Who am I?” Zane will discover he’s more different than he thought, but learns that being unique only makes you more special.
	Cole	Cole’s dad thinks that his son needs to forget all this ninja business and follow him into the family trade…show business! But the feuding father and son discover that even though they’re very different people, they have more in common than they think. Meanwhile the Ninja of Earth finds that embracing his softer side makes him a better ninja, rather than just a better dancer.
	Nya	It seems Nya isn’t allowed to be part of the “boys’ club” and she hates it! She knows that a girl can accomplish just as much, if not more, than any boy. However, even though she proves herself to the others, she comes to realize that she doesn’t need their acceptance to be a mighty warrior!
	Garmadon	There’s much more to Lord Garmadon’s story than meets the eye. We see him mentor his son, even though they’re destined to meet in battle, and as we delve into his shared past with the ancient Serpentine tribes, we discover he didn’t choose to be the way he is. Can he avenge himself on the ancient horror that cursed him all those years before?
	Lloyd	From unsuccessful super-villain to the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master, Lloyd has travelled the furthest of all the young ninja. The son of Master Garmadon and Misako, he sacrificed his childhood to embrace his destiny, finally becoming the Green Ninja and, for a short while, the all-powerful Golden Ninja. As a Master in training, he is wise beyond his years and, like his Uncle Wu, represents the way of the ninja. Though he is more the quiet type, Lloyd is the natural leader in the group. As son of Lord Garmadon, it’s hard to follow in his father’s evil footsteps. This young boy will go to comical lengths to prove he is just as bad as his dad. With Wu’s help and the support of the others, Lloyd will learn that living in a parent’s shadow is a choice and you can choose to become anyone you want to be.
	Skales	Unavailable
	Slithraa	The original keeper of the magic Hypnobrai staff and head of the Hypnobrai tribe. Slithraa was the leader of the Hypnobrai before Skales and the holder of the Hypnobrai staff. When Skales stole the staff, he challenged Slithraa to combat in the Slither Pit. Skales used Fang-kwon-do to defeat Slithraa and seize power in the tribe.
	Rattla	Rattla is not the coolest ice pick in the cave, but he’s happy to follow orders, regardless of who is in charge, and he doesn’t really care who he fights. This Hypnobrai was loyal to Skales, who he believed would reward him for his service. Rattla spent a good deal of time hatching plots and schemes with the future Serpentine leader, with their plans growing bigger and wilder as time went on. When Skales challenged General Slithraa, Rattla supported him in his bid for power.
	Mezmo	Unavailable
	Fangtom	Fangtom is the General and brains behind the Fangpyre tribe – which is not saying much. Fangtom is the Fangpyre general. This Serpentine once accidentally bit himself, which is how he wound up with two heads. His decision-making ability is somewhat hampered by the fact that the two heads are either constantly arguing with one another or finishing each other’s sentences. Fangtom was friends with Skales for a while, but later blamed the Hypnobrai for the Serpentine being forced back into their tombs.
	Pythor	Pythor P. Chumsworth is a survivor. The last of the Anacondrai, he has hatched dozens of schemes and somehow managed to avoid total defeat at the hands of the Ninja. Ruthless and a very good liar, Pythor’s arrival always brings trouble. And despite the best efforts of Master Wu’s team, he keeps coming back again.
	Fangdam	Fangdam is Fangtom’s muscle sidekick – he is one fast, ferocious Fangpyre. Formerly best friends with Skales. Fangdam is a strong and fast Fangpyre warrior. His second head is the result of once being bitten by Fang-Suei, who got a little carried away during a battle. Fangdam does not speak from either head, but has been involved in many of the Fangpyre’s major battles.
	Snappa	Unavailable
	Fang-Suei	Fang Suei is the strongest of the Fangpyre soldiers and quick to act on his General’s command. Fang-Suei is the strongest of the Fangpyres and loves a good fight. When he’s not fighting, he sometimes does a little announcing in the Slither Pit.
	Acidicus	Acidicus is as dangerous as the toxic bogs the Venomari call their home. Victims who have been hit by the Venomari venom hallucinate and sometimes see their worst fears materialize before them. Acidicus is the Venomari general. Although he is intelligent and capable, Pythor has been able to outfight and outmaneuver him numerous times. Acidicus is best known for creating vials that could be used by the Venomari to store their venom for later use.
	Bytar	Bytar, along with the rest of the Constrictai, is all about the muscle.He likes to work out but doesn’t like to shower much, so he smells like a locker room full of old cheese sandwiches. Bytar is a battle-scarred Constrictai veteran. When there is no one else to fight and nothing much to do, he gets into wrestling matches with his fellow Constrictai, but sometimes forgets this is just for practice. Other Serpentine have learned to stay away from Bytar when he looks bored.
	Lasha	The finest scout in the Venomari tribe. He keeps a lookout for enemies, seeks out prey and then lets others handle them. Lasha is a keen-eyed scout for the Venomari tribe. His job is to seek out enemies, then let the warriors handle the situation. Although he does a good job, he is not always valued – he was once booted off the Black Bounty by Garmadon for being “excess weight.”
	Lizaru	With his four fangs Lizaru makes a great warrior. He can also catch and devour some of the bigger bog creatures. If he can catch a bogmollerworm, he’s set for weeks. Lizaru is a Venomari warrior. His hobby is hunting and eating creatures much bigger than himself, so he can go long periods without feeding and concentrate on his other hobbies. These hobbies include napping and a little potion-making on the side.
	Skalidor	Skalidor has neglected exercise for as long as the Constrictai have been in confinement, so even for a Constrictai, he’s a little on the heavy side. Despite that, his reflexes are flawless. Skalidor is the powerful general of the Constrictai tribe. Aggressive and quick to anger, he enjoys whumping his enemies with his muscular tail. Once he has a goal, he stops at nothing to achieve it.
	Snike	Constrictai sniper specialist at your service. Snike’s most dangerous weapon is his spiked tail, which has incredible strength to crush or strike at an enemy. Snike is a Constrictai scout. Though his job is just to keep his eyes out for enemies, he loves jumping into a fight with his spiked chain mace.
	Spitta	Although the Venomari’s greatest assets are their teeth, which produce the venom, Spitta has a bit of a problem. Because of his very fine and very large teeth, he literally can’t always keep his mouth shut, so he drools and leaks venom all the time. Although Spitta is a Venomari soldier, he is not really much of a warrior. He’s of more use for the fact that he is constantly drooling venom and has learned to collect it in Acidicus’ vials for others to use. Spitta is very devoted to his tribe and believed very strongly in the imminent return of the Great Devourer.

Unavailable	Cole's Treat Assault	Powerful and well-armed land vehicle used by Cole in the battle against the Serpentine. Later, it was part of the wild pursuit of Pythor heading towards the City of Ouroboros. The Tread Assault was armed with a rock shooter and ninja blade launchers. It was also capable of flipping over during battle as part of a surprise maneuver. Cole was able to transform the Scythe of Quakes into this vehicle.
Unavailable	Destiny's Bounty	Destiny’s Bounty started out as a pirate ship under the command of Captain Soto. Centuries later, it was found by the ninja in the Sea of Sand and converted into a flying headquarters. As their new home and training base, Destiny’s Bounty have served the ninja in various battles as a reliable battleship, worthy of its name and heritage. At one point, Garmadon used the Mega Weapon to transform the ship into the Black Bounty. When the NINJAGO world is on the verge of a new Serpentine War, Nya upgrades Destiny’s Bounty with new weapons and technology. The Bounty played a major role in the defeat of Master Chen and his Anacondrai worshippers.

The dragon (later named “Rocky” by Cole) initially fought the ninja to try to protect the weapon. He later became Cole’s mount and once carried him into the Underworld. The rocky texture of the Earth Dragon’s skin allowed it to camouflage itself as a pile of stones. Rocky later traveled to Spirit Coves to mature into an adult dragon. 		Capital of NINJAGO Island, NINJAGO City is a large urban area located near the Sea of Sand. Numerous ninja adventures have taken place here. Locations in the city include the NINJAGO Museum of History, NINJAGO Music Hall, NINJAGO City Square, Grand Master Dareth’s Mojo Dojo and the NGTV Building. A complex network of subway tunnels can be found beneath the city. After its destruction at the hands of the Overlord, it was rebuilt by the genius Cyrus Borg and became New NINJAGO City. It became a high-tech metropolis, a center of great technological advancements where everything was digitally connected. After the defeat of the Golden Master, the idea behind New NINJAGO City was discarded in favor of a more balanced environment. Today, the city is commonly referred to as NINJAGO City. A statue of Zane stands in the park, erected to honor his sacrifice in the battle against the Golden Master.

Unavailable	The City of Ouroboros	Ancient Serpentine city buried beneath the Sea of Sand following the Serpentine Wars, this site was also known as the Lost City of Ouroboros. It is the only known Serpentine city, and seems to be a mixture of different styles of architecture. In the center of the city is the infamous Slither Pit Arena. Legend had it that the Great Devourer slumbered beneath the city, and it is possible that the spirals and circles that appear so often in carvings in Ouroboros may refer to its presence. After Pythor successfully awoke the giant serpent, the creature badly damaged the city as it broke free. Despite the damage, it would still be used as a Serpentine base in later adventures and continues to exist today.

	The Constrictai Staff	Snake staff of the Constrictai tribe and a symbol of the power of the Constrictai general. It is designed to look like a snake wound around a pole, with the black and white symbol of the Constrictai on the snake’s chest. It is one of five staffs in existence, one for each Serpentine tribe. Concealed within the staff is a vial of anti-venom, which allows the user to continue breathing even when caught in the coils of a Constrictai. When the anti-venom is combined with that of the other four staffs, it creates a white liquid which provides a map to the location of the Fangblades.

	The Venomari Staff	Snake staff of the Venomari tribe and a symbol of the power of the Venomari general. Concealed within the staff is a vial of anti-venom which can be used to cure the hallucinatory effects of the Venomari attack. Season Two: The Green Ninja

Lord Garmadon has disappeared with all Four Golden Weapons and now he controls the Serpentine. Meanwhile, the ninja intensify their training of young Lloyd so he will be strong enough to defeat Lord Garmadon in the final battle. To gain evil power, Lord Garmadon goes to the Golden Peaks to convert all Four Golden Weapons into the weapon of creation – the Mega Weapon. Now wielding the Mega Weapon, Lord Garmadon successfully revives the ninja-hunting creature, “the Grundal”, consequently turning back the clock of the ninja. When transforming back to teenagehood by magical tea, Lloyd is no longer a child either. He has sacrificed his youth to face his destiny as the Green Ninja. The Mega Weapon enables Lord Garmadon to go back in time to attempt preventing the formation of the ninja from ever happening. The ninja follow Lord Garmadon into the past to recreate past events as they were. However, there is one significant change: the destruction of the Golden Weapons and the Mega Weapon. An explosion has sent the weapons out into space. By the four hands of Lord Garmadon, the mysterious Dark Island resurfaces from the depths. The final battle is getting closer, but Lloyd is struggling with the anxiety of not wanting to face his father. The venom of the Great Devourer, the only remaining piece of the ancient beast, turns the indestructible Stone Army back to life. The only way to defeat them is for the ninja to get their pure elemental powers at the Temple of Light. Here, the ninja get their elemental blades and Lloyd achieves the power of the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master. On Dark Island, Lord Garmadon is building the ultimate weapon, the Garmatron, out of dark matter. The Overlord enacts his plan and takes control. He will face Lloyd in the final battle. When all seems lost, Lloyd unlocks his new powers and reforms into the Golden Ninja. He destroys the Overlord and restores the balance. Consequently, the evil in Garmadon’s veins vanishes completely and from this moment, he is good Master Garmadon. But where did the Overlord go?

	Misako	Misako is Garmadon’s wife, Lloyd’s mother, and the love of Master Wu’s life. She was tricked into marrying Garmadon and regrets the years she missed with Wu. Intelligent and accomplished, Misako worked as an archaeologist at the NINJAGO® Museum of History and is also a Spinjitzu master and an expert on NINJAGO mythology. Although she is an academic, she is also a lover of adventure and has never been content to sit behind a desk. Misako knew Lloyd would become the Green Ninja someday, and so enrolled him at Darkley’s School for Bad Boys while she researched the prophecy of the Green Ninja. After reuniting with Lloyd, she became involved in many of the ninja’s adventures. Misako fled as her husband Lord Garmadon turned to evil and was forced to leave Lloyd behind. She threw herself into her archaeological research, hoping to uncover a way for her son and husband to avoid their inevitable final battle. She is overjoyed to be reunited with Lloyd and to see the young man he’s become today. Can she save both son and husband, or will she rekindle an old romance with Master Wu?

But when he is betrayed by the Serpentine and abandoned on an island, he meets the Overlord. Garmadon learns that fate has brought him there for a destiny far greater and more sinister than even he had ever imagined.
	Lloyd	Now the Green Ninja, Lloyd has turned his back on his father’s dark path. He accepts the importance of hard work and trains with the Ninja every day, embracing the motto, “a Ninja Never Quits”. But while he grows stronger, he comes to understand that he’s destined to face his father in the ultimate showdown.
	General Kozu	General Kozu is the leader of the indestructible Stone Army, serving under both the Overlord and Garmadon. The four-armed warrior is the only one who can speak both the ancient tongue of the Stone Warriors and the modern NINJAGO language, so he was able to translate for Garmadon. He vanished after the Overlord’s defeat by Lloyd in the final battle.
	Overlord	The Overlord is the source of all evil in Ninjago. He was the arch-enemy of the First Spinjitzu Master. The Overlord launched an all-out attack on Ninjago. He was defeated, and apparently destroyed, by Lloyd Garmadon, the Gold Ninja. But the Overlord is not so easily eliminated. The high-tech Borg Industries was built on the site of his last battle. The Overlord infiltrated the Borg computer systems and became the Digital Overlord. Now he plans to take revenge on Lloyd and conquer Ninjago once and for all. Arch-enemy of the First Spinjitzu Master and the source of all evil in the world. Also known as the Dark Lord, the Overlord was consigned to Dark Island after the First Spinjitzu Master split the land in half. Existing as a spirit, the incredibly powerful Overlord plotted to return to the human plane of existence, using Garmadon and the Stone Army as his pawns. He is a skilled manipulator who has directed events from behind the scenes for centuries. His original form is a dragon.
	Stone Swordsman	Surprisingly fast-moving fighters, the Stone Swordsmen are armed with katanas. They never weaken or tire and can wear down opponents over time.
	Stone Warrior	The rocky backbone of the Stone Army is its warriors. They are powerful and durable, extremely hard to hurt, and never stop until they have reached their objective. The Stone Warriors vanished when the Overlord was defeated.

It was designed and built by Dr. Julien on Dark Island, with the aid of Nya, and intended to help the ninja get to the Temple of Light. Nya also stored the compacted Fire Mech in the trunk of this vehicle.
Unavailable	Garmatron	The Garmatron was the ultimate weapon constructed by Lord Garmadon. At his command, the Stone Army gathered the evil substance called Dark Matter needed to create the vehicle, and it was then charged by energies fired by the Celestial Clock. The Garmatron had the ability to shoot Dark Matter, thus upsetting the balance between light and dark in the NINJAGO world. It was instrumental in the Overlord’s attacks on NINJAGO City, and eventually transformed into a mighty fortress able to fire Dark Matter in multiple directions at once. The people and things struck by its Dark Matter turned evil. Lloyd’s final battle against the Overlord took place on top of this fortress. When the Overlord was seemingly destroyed, the Garmatron vanished as well, never to be seen again.
Unavailable	Golden Mech	The Golden Mech was originally created by the First Spinjitzu Master during his battle with the Overlord. Charged with the Power of the Golden Dragon, it was designed to be the ultimate weapon against Darkness. After the lands of the NINJAGO world were split in two by the Golden Sword, the First Spinjitzu Master stored the mech in the heart of the Temple of Light, where he believed it would be safe. Centuries later, Lloyd recovered the Golden Mech before the final battle against the Overlord. When the ninja placed their elemental blades in the pillars around the center of the temple, the Golden Mech arose from below. The Golden Mech was damaged during the battle and never seen since.
Unavailable	Fire Mech	Nya created this mech for Kai and stored it inside Cole’s Earth Driller. It was designed to be portable for easy transport, expanding to full-sized at the press of a button. The ninja team did not discover its existence until they were on Dark Island, struggling to reach the Temple of Light. The right arm of the mech is a cannon and it also features a powerful grappling hook.

Warrior Bikes were equipped with missile launchers for long-range combat.

It is an incredibly intricate device, with gears, levers and other golden mechanisms jutting out from its surface. When the clock reaches zero, the Horns of Destruction begin to play. Concentrated sunlight then bursts out of the clock as a focused beam. The countdown begins when the Helmet of Shadows is removed from its resting place, and can only be stopped if it is returned there.
Unavailable	Dark Island	Also referred to as the Island of Darkness, this is a place of great evil and the base of the fiendish Overlord. The NINJAGO world originally consisted of one huge island. When the Overlord’s Stone Army threatened to overwhelm the world with darkness, the First Spinjitzu Master split the island in half and Dark Island became the Overlord’s territory. The island sank to the seabed and remained underwater for many years, only to resurface when Lord Garmadon arrived there. Dark Island is the location of the Temple of Light, the Celestial Clock and the Helmet of Shadows, as well as the primary source of Dark Matter.

Unavailable	Mojo Dojo	Grand Master Dareth’s Mojo Dojo is located in NINJAGO City. It is a popular training spot for students who wish to learn any of the various animal fighting styles. Dareth helps would-be martial artists work their way to breaking bricks, starting out by splitting pudding with their hand, then foam, then cork, on up to boards and bricks. Many students never make it past cork.
Unavailable	Stone Army Vault	Enormous tomb beneath NINJAGO City in which the Stone Army was consigned after the First Spinjitzu Master split the land in two halves. Much later, the vault was stumbled upon by the Serpentine as they were attempting to burrow beneath the city. Venom dripping from the Great Devourer awoke the Stone Warriors and they went on a rampage. A carving on the outside of the tomb depicts Skales, indicating he was the one destined to free the Stone Army.
Unavailable	Temple of Light	The Temple of Light is located atop a high peak on Dark Island. It is an ancient structure built by the First Spinjitzu Master, with a semi-circular stone platform in front of the door. The site is well-hidden and can only be found with the use of a special medallion. The walls are decorated with paintings of the ninja’s adventures, although how these works of art came to be is unknown. The Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu were forged here. According to ancient scrolls, the Temple of Light can grant a ninja pure elemental power that's capable of destroying the Stone Army. And once the Green Ninja finds the instrument of peace (the bell) and strikes it, he will know the power of an Ultimate Spinjitzu Master: the Power of the Golden Dragon.
Unavailable	The Golden Peaks	Mountain range also known as the birthplace of the Four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu. The First Spinjitzu Master collected molten gold from the geysers that erupt within the mountain and then shaped and cooled it at Temple of Light. Later, Lord Garmadon came to the Golden Peaks to create his Mega Weapon. Its most notable feature is a volcano with gold-colored lava.
Unavailable	The Lighthouse	An island prison where Samukai kept Dr. Julien for years, forcing him to work on designs for Skeleton Army vehicles. It is located on a small island not far from Dark Island. The ninja arrived here when Destiny’s Bounty was damaged, rescued Julien, and in return, he repaired their ship. This was Zane’s first opportunity to see his creator in many years, and gave him the opportunity to learn more about his past.

	Dark Matter	An evil substance primarily found beneath the soil of Dark Island. Dark matter resembles purple mud in its natural state, but turns black when refined. A very small amount of it can completely corrupt someone, and the Overlord himself once called it “concentrated evil.” Garmadon used this substance in his Garmatron machine, as well as to turn Nya bad.
	The Elemental Blades	The Four Elemental Blades which contained the power of fire, ice, earth and lightning, respectively. The raw elemental power contained in the weapons was the only force that could stop the Stone Army. The ninja discovered them in the Temple of Light and wielded them in subsequent battles. They were also able to focus their powers through the blades to help Lloyd unlock the full abilities of the Green Ninja. In addition, the Elemental Blades acted as keys to unlock the hiding place of the Golden Mech in the Temple of Light. Their current whereabouts are unknown.
	The Helmet of Shadows	An artifact created by the Overlord that grants the wearer the power to control the Stone Army. In addition, removing the helmet from its resting place starts the Celestial Clock, which begins a countdown to the final battle between good and evil. The only way to stop the countdown is to return the helmet to the Celestial Clock, where it belongs. Garmadon wears the helmet while in charge of the Stone Army, and later, it is worn by the Overlord. Lost in battle, the helmet is found by Dareth, who uses it to help the ninja overcome the Overlord.
	The Mega Weapon	Extremely powerful force for creation made by Lord Garmadon using all four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu. Garmadon journeyed to the Golden Peaks, birthplace of the Four Golden Weapons, in order to forge the Mega Weapon. He used it to recreate Destiny’s Bounty as the pirate ship Black Bounty and bring Captain Soto and its crew back to life. He also used it to create evil duplicates of the ninja and to revive the prehistoric Grundle. In his most ambitious effort, Garmadon used the Mega Weapon to send himself back in time so he could stop the ninja team from forming. Season Three: Rebooted

Victory in the Final Battle between the Golden Ninja and the Overlord has ushered in a new era of peace and begun a technological renaissance. NINJAGO City has been rebuilt into a futuristic wonder and is now completely interconnected. Welcome to New NINJAGO City. The ninja have found there is very little need for their heroics and have become teachers at Wu’s Academy. But peace is an illusion… During a ninja-led class trip to Cyrus Borg’s amazing Borg Tower, the heroes discover the Overlord has survived in digital form in Borg’s virtual Digiverse. His plan: escape the Digiverse, using the Lloyd’s Golden Power, and conquer the world as the great prophesized destructor, “The Golden Master.” With the aid of a mind-controlled Borg and an army of Nindroids, the Digital Overlord is more dangerous than ever. Seeing this, Wu allows himself to be captured so that the ninja can escape with the Techno-Blades, the only weapons that can reboot the system, destroying the Digital Overlord. Zane, meanwhile, has met Pixal, Borg’s android assistant, who will become an important friend and ally to him. The ninja succeed in destroying the Storm Farm that provides energy to the Nindroids, but Pythor returns and allies with the Digital Overlord. Using Electro-Cobrai stolen from the aquarium, Pythor brings the Nindroids back to life. Lloyd is captured and some of his power is siphoned off to aid the Digital Overlord’s schemes. The heroes enter the Digiverse in an effort to save Lloyd and Wu and erase the evil for good. They succeed in using the Techno-Blades to reboot the system, but they have struck too late. The Overlord has escaped into the physical world. To prevent the Overlord from becoming the Golden Master, Lloyd gives up his Golden Power. The ninja head into space to stop the Nindroids’ attempt to retrieve the Mega Weapon, the remnants of the Four Golden Weapons, but fail. Returning home, they find the Overlord has become the Golden Master and is attacking New NINJAGO City. When their every effort to stop him fails, it takes Zane sacrificing himself to stop the villain once and for all.

	Kai	Kai feels a little like the world has passed him by. While everyone else is going high-tech, he can’t even use a toaster without setting off fire alarms. He feels like machinery is out to get him, but as time goes on during this adventure, he learns to find a balance between the past and the future.
	Jay	When a matchmaking console reveals to Nya that Cole is her perfect match, it jeopardizes her relationship with Jay. The Ninja of Lightning is extremely upset about this since he has had a crush on Nya for a long time and he feels like Cole is sneaking in at the last minute. In addition, deep down he is distressed that this new rivalry with Cole will permanently damage their friendship.

	Cole	When a matchmaking console reveals to Nya that Cole is her perfect match, it jeopardizes her relationship with Jay. Cole is frustrated over this whole thing, because he has never thought of Nya in a romantic way. The strain on his friendship with her and the new rivalry with Jay are distractions at a time when the whole team needs to be focused on the threat of the Digital Overlord.

	Garmadon	Garmadon, Lloyd’s father and the Ninja’s former enemy, has been cured of the poison that turned him evil. He is particularly focused on rebuilding his relationship with Lloyd and helping his son unlock his potential as the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master. Garmadon hopes to teach Lloyd to focus on his mind and not just rely on his powers.
	Lloyd	Now under the strict tutelage of his father, Garmadon, Lloyd will learn that being the most powerful ninja in all the land isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be. His great powers make him a target for the Digital Overlord and the Nindroids. Before the battle is over, Lloyd learns that his burden is easier to manage if he relies on the strength of his friends.
	Misako	Misako is happy to have Garmadon back and is focused on rebuilding her relationship with him. But her joy is counterbalanced by her grief over Wu turning evil, due to the machinations of the Digital Overlord. After so many years of heartbreak over the fate of Garmadon, it is almost too much to bear to think she might now lose Wu.
	Overlord	The Overlord was the arch-enemy of the First Spinjitzu Master and the source of all evil in the world. Also known as the Dark Lord, the Overlord was consigned to Dark Island after the First Spinjitzu Master split the land in half. Existing as a spirit, the incredibly powerful Overlord plotted to return to the human plane of existence, using Garmadon and the Stone Army as his pawns. He is a skilled manipulator who has directed events from behind the scenes for centuries. His original form was a dragon. Although the Overlord was defeated by Lloyd in the final battle, he was not destroyed. He survived as a computer virus in Cyrus Borg’s Digiverse and was able to take over the whole city, thanks to Borg’s technology being everywhere. But the now Digital Overlord was not satisfied. He was trapped. To escape the Digiverse he needed Lloyd’s Golden Power. The Ninja were able to reboot the Digiverse, but it was too late: the Overlord had already taken physical form. He sent his Nindroids on a space mission to retrieve the Mega Weapon, the remainder of the four Golden Weapons, to become the prophesized Golden Master. He was finally destroyed by Zane.
	Cyrus Borg	A skilled and imaginative inventor, Cyrus Borg saw the damage done to NINJAGO City by the battle with the Overlord as an opportunity. He rebuilt the place as New NINJAGO City, packed with high-technology upgrades, and built the Borg Industries complex right on the site of the Overlord’s defeat. Borg’s successes have been many, but his few failures have been spectacular as well (the electronic papercut carving set, the electric bath mat, the nuclear toothbrush, the turbo-jet powered, sub-orbital golf cart, etc.). “When I make a mistake, I make a big one!” he has been known to say. Cyrus Borg is a reclusive inventor and the founder of Borg Industries. Unable to use his legs, Borg invented both a hover chair and a chair fitted with mechanical spider legs to enable himself to move freely. One of Borg’s most ambitious projects was the Digiverse, a virtual reality designed for gaming. Players could be scanned into the Digiverse and then use their imaginations to create anything they might need. After NINJAGO City was heavily damaged in the final battle between Lloyd and the Overlord, Borg oversaw its rebuilding as the high-tech New NINJAGO City.
	P.I.X.A.L.	P.I.X.A.L. (Primary Interactive X-ternal Assistant Life-form) is Cyrus Borg’s android assistant.When she first meets the Ninja, she is under the influence of the Digital Overlord and uses her skills to copy the plans for Zane so the Nindroids can be built. She later discovers she is compatible with Zane.P.I.X.A.L. is actually the 16th model in her line, the first 15 having malfunctioned due to a faulty thermo-coil and a malfunctioning AIE-ES (artificial intelligence enhancer-emotion suppressor) chip.Borg was able to fix the coil, but the chip problem has not been completely solved. P.I.X.A.L. is an acronym for Primary Interactive X-ternal Assistant Life-form. When the Ninja visit Borg Tower, they meet P.I.X.A.L., who is Borg’s android assistant (it took 16 versions for Borg to create the P.I.X.A.L. we know today). She was briefly taken over by the Digital Overlord, during which time she helped to manufacture an army of Nindroids based on Zane’s design. From the beginning, there was mutual fascination between her and Zane, as they shared similarities as well as differences. Badly damaged after a battle at the Storm Farm, P.I.X.A.L. was saved when Zane shared half his power core with her – his heart, you might say. From then on, she became an ally of the Ninja and very close to Zane. Later, Zane and P.I.X.A.L. were captured and held hostage on Chen's Island. When Zane found her cell, P.I.X.A.L. had been reduced to only spare parts and a face on a monitor. Zane put her neural drive into his processor, making P.I.X.A.L. a part of his artificial intelligence.
	General Cryptor	General Cryptor is the robotic leader of the Nindroid army, and a servant of the Digital Overlord. Unlike the Nindroids, who rarely speak, Cryptor talks all the time. He loves to taunt and insult his foes in battle, and has even been known to criticize his own troops (saying they are as stealthy as a herd of hungry yaks). Cryptor’s emotional programming is also more advanced than that of the Nindroids, and his quick temper can be used against him. Cryptor dismisses the Ninja as a serious threat to his army. That may be a mistake that comes back to haunt both him and the Digital Overlord. General Cryptor was in command of the Nindroid army. He was the first Nindroid created, an upgraded version of Zane with enhanced programming and heavy armor. Unlike the other Nindroids, Cryptor had a strong personality. He was very conceited, loudmouthed and severely underestimated the power of the Ninja. This powerful Nindroid leader was destroyed after the defeat of the Golden Master.

When the ninja rebooted the system in the Digiverse, the MechDragon fell to the sea, containing the reformed Overlord – now in his physical body. The Nindroid MechDragon was extremely durable and able to fly at high speed. Its primary weapons were a cannon mounted on its back and sawblades on its wings.
Unavailable	Proto Sam-X	Proto Sam-X was a prototype vehicle designed and built by Nya and housed in her Samurai X cave. For a long time, Nya had had the idea of creating a vehicle to match her Samurai X mech. Proto Sam-X was still unfinished (and not in the right colors) when discovered by Lloyd and Garmadon, who used it in their fight against the MechDragon. It was armed with a rotating harpoon missile, two laser cannons and concealed missile launchers.

Its forward treads and huge rear wheels made it easy for the Thunder Raider to power through rock and rubble. In the center of the maze is a beautiful oasis, often referred to as the “jewel” of the labyrinth. The oasis features dramatic waterfalls, fields of red brush and cherry trees. The labyrinth lies between NINJAGO City and the Mountains of Impossible Height. Garmadon and Lloyd were able to navigate through this area to get back to NINJAGO City and help their friends. Unavailable	Samurai X Cave	The Samurai X Cave was located in the Sea of Sand, built by Nya during the period when she was adventuring as Samurai X. Nya used it as a base and a storage facility for her armor, vehicles and other inventions. The cave is sited beneath the skeleton of a large, unknown creature and is the perfect hideout. On the skeleton, there is a discreet Samurai X symbol carved into the bones. When the symbol is touched, the mouth of the skeleton opens to reveal a staircase going down. Garmadon and Lloyd were the first to discover the cave’s existence.
Unavailable	The Digiverse	The Digiverse was a virtual reality created by Cyrus Borg, in which the Digital Overlord was trapped. For the ninja to get rid of the Digital Overlord, they needed to enter the Digiverse and reboot the system. Within this virtual space, an occupant can gain new powers, simply by imagining them. The idea behind the Digiverse was to create a new kind of gaming, where players could be scanned in and accomplish superhuman feats they could never do in real life.

Season Four: Tournament of Elements

When Zane sacrificed himself to stop the Golden Master, the power of the Golden Weapons unlocked new abilities within him, revealing a new layer of titanium. The immense energy dispatch destroyed parts of him and caused Zane to vanish into the Digiverse. Only Pixal was aware of Zane’s digital presence – or so she thought…. The loss of Zane in the battle against the Golden Master has left the ninja grieving and disillusioned. The team has broken up. As Lloyd tries to reunite the ninja, they receive a mysterious invitation to the “Tournament of Elements” on Chen’s Island. They are intrigued, but it’s the hint that Zane may still be alive that finally brings them together again. They travel to Master Chen’s remote island and discover they are not the only descendants of the first Elemental Masters. Under Garmadon’s watchful eye, the ninja battle the other Elemental Masters for supremacy… but soon discover that the tournament is a cover for a sinister plot. Master Chen is stealing the Elemental Power of each defeated competitor and intends to use it to transform his Anacondrai worshippers into an army of fierce Anacondrai Warriors. A new Serpentine War is on the horizon. Unable to tell friend from foe, the ninja must recruit the other Elemental Masters to oppose Chen and reunite with Zane and Pixal, who had been held prisoners. But despite their best efforts, Chen succeeds in turning himself and his followers into Anacondrai. At the Corridor of Elders, Garmadon faces his old teacher, Master Chen. Remembering Chen’s final lesson – to win at all costs – Lloyd’s father brings the ancient Anacondrai Generals out of their exile in the Cursed Realm… banishing himself as he does so. The real Serpentine take one look at Chen’s fake snake tribe and raging at the insult, drag the villains back to the Cursed Realm. But victory has come at the highest price and the ninja honor Garmadon’s sacrifice, unaware that a dark spirit has escaped into the NINJAGO world through their portal…

In the meantime, Wu has the opportunity to catch up on lost time with Misako, his great love. To his shock and anger, Wu discovers that his brother had tricked Misako into choosing Garmadon over Wu back when they were young. Garmadon had put his name on a love letter written by Wu to Misako. This threatens to reopen the schism between the brothers once more. But when Garmadon sacrifices himself to save the world, Wu honors his selfless action.
	Kai	Kai is competitive by nature and Master Chen plans to use that against him. Kai’s always been second to the Green Ninja, but maybe this tournament is his chance to prove how good he really is. Is Kai willing to leave his team behind, only to get ahead? What could compel him to follow his ego...a potential love interest, perhaps?
	Jay	Jay is still not over his feud with Cole regarding whom Nya likes best. At first, this proves to be an impediment to the ninja’s efforts on Chen’s Island, as the two are constantly butting heads. But when they are pitted against each other in combat by Chen, Jay realizes that his long-standing friendship with Cole and the welfare of the team are what matter. Jay emerges from all of this a more mature and grounded character.
	Zane	When Zane sacrificed himself to stop the Golden Master, the power of the Golden Weapons unlocked new abilities within him, revealing a layer of titanium. The immense energy surge destroyed parts of him and caused Zane to vanish into the Digiverse. Only Pixal was aware of Zane’s digital presence – or so she thought. Before anyone found out, she and Zane were gone. Zane wakes up in chains on Chen’s Island, unaware of how he got there. He has to learn the truth about himself, in that he has become the Titanium Ninja. What new powers does he have? What new fears must he overcome? Though Zane 2.0 is rebuilt stronger, his insecurities have increased tenfold. In order to make the team whole, he’ll need to go on a personal journey of self-discovery to define who he truly is and face his fears.
	Cole	Jay and Cole’s feud over Nya is still simmering as this adventure begins. When Chen pits them against each other in combat, the other ninja have reason to fear the worst. But the two put aside their differences and ally against Chen, which leads to Cole losing his power. In a desperate circumstance, Cole embraces the fact that a hero has a responsibility to more than just himself or his teammates, and leads a rebellion of Chen’s slave laborers.
	Nya	After the ninja mysteriously disappear, Nya must follow the clues that will lead her to Chen’s Island. Once there, she will go undercover as one of Chen’s trusted Kabuki but she rapidly discovers that she will go from being an object of affection to the target of a hunt.
	Garmadon	Garmadon is confronted by the ghosts of his past during the Tournament of Elements adventure. He accompanies the ninja to Chen’s Island because he knows all too well the depths of evil and treachery in his former teacher’s heart. He also faces the revelation that he won Misako’s heart long ago through trickery. In the end, Garmadon sacrifices himself to save the world and atone for his past.
	Lloyd	Lloyd knows he has a target on his back and everyone in the tournament is gunning for him – which is why he needs his friends more than ever. He has to control his fears, though it’s difficult for him. Lloyd’s leadership is tested as he fights to keep the team together, and after learning about his father’s dark history, he uses the lessons of the past to guide him.
	Misako	Misako’s discovery that she was tricked into choosing Garmadon over Wu all those years ago is a devastating one. Now she is working at rebuilding the relationship she once shared with Wu. Although she bitterly regrets all the time lost that she could have spent with Wu, she still honors Garmadon’s sacrifice when her husband gives his life to save the world.
	Eyezor	Eyezor was the one-eyed General of Master Chen’s army of Anacondrai worshippers. A being of few words, a lot of intimidation and a razor sharp Mohawk, he could often be found with Sleven and Krait getting up to no good. Finally he became an Anacondrai and changed his name to Eyezorai, but was soon banished to the Cursed Realm along with Master Chen.
	Zugu	The former Sumo wrestler Zugu rose up through the ranks of Master Chen’s army to become a general, although his thick accent and dialect made it hard for his troops to understand him. He worked in the Underground Noodle Factory and dungeons below the Palace before becoming an Anacondrai warrior. He was then banished to the Cursed Realm with the other Anacondrai worshippers.
	Kapau	Foot-soldiers Kapau and Chope-Chope had ambitions to move up through the ranks of Master Chen’s army of Anacondrai worshippers…if only they could come up with cool nicknames! After all, Eyezor had a good name and he was in charge, so that had to be the secret. He was briefly Kapau, then became Kapau’rai to reflect his new Anacondrai state, which definitely sounded better. But then he ended up in the Cursed Realm with the rest of Chen’s Anacondrai worshippers.
	Sleven	Sleven was one of Master Chen’s most devoted Anacondrai worshippers. He could often be found with Eyezor and Krait delivering noodles and patrolling the Island defenses. He finally got his wish to become an Anacondrai Warrior and changed his name to Slevenrai, but his joy was short lived and he was banished to the Cursed Realm.
	Krait	Whether it was squashing his enemies alongside Eyezor and Sleven, helping him to steal the Elemental Masters’ power or transforming into a snake, Krait was dedicated to Master Chen’s wishes…no questions asked. He even served food in the cafeteria. As an Anacondrai he changed his name to Krait’rai, just before being banished to the Cursed Realm.
	Chope	Foot-soldiers Chope and Kapau were ambitious. They wanted to rise to positions of power in Master Chen’s army and believed that getting cool nicknames was the way to go! After all, Eyezor had a good name and he was in charge. His first thought was Maleficium, but Kapau quickly put down that name. So he became Chope, or Chope-Chope to his closest friends. When he became a snake, his name changed to Chope’rai, but he ended up in the Cursed Realm with the other Anacondrai worshippers anyway.
	Clouse	Clouse is the Master of Darts Arts, a powerful sorcerer to be feared. In his youth, he and Garmadon were Master Chen’s pupils and rivals to become his right-hand man. In their final training session, Garmadon cheated and Master Chen declared him Lord Garmadon. Clouse carried this injustice round his whole life, so when he finally did become Chen’s right-hand man, he massively over-compensated. He always went to great lengths to please his master. Below Chen’s Palace, Clouse held a giant snake as a pet, feeding it with Chen’s prisoners. The title of lordship has always been his aspiration. During his showdown with Garmadon on Chen’s Island, Clouse was sucked into the Cursed Realm, only to be reunited with his master shortly afterwards.
	Master Chen	Before the Tournament of Elements, Chen was commonly known as the “nice man” behind Master Chen’s Noodle House. But this identity concealed his underground criminal organization, as well as his murky history as Master Chen, teacher of Clouse and Garmadon. Master Chen loves theatrics and playing people against each other, dividing the closest of friends. Long ago, he provoked the Serpentine Wars, then turned against his own kind and sided with the snakes. He used deception to divide the Elemental Masters, and when the Serpentine were finally defeated he was exiled to a distant island for his treachery. From this remote fortress, Chen built a criminal empire and an army of warriors that shared his obsession with the most powerful of all the snake tribes, the Anacondrai. Using his daughter’s abilities, he planned to steal the power he craved from the descendants of the Elemental Masters. Not only was he seeking revenge, but he aimed to use this power to transform his army into Anacondrai Warriors and bring a reign of terror to the NINJAGO world. In the end, he was undone by his own twisted teaching. Long ago, Master Chen taught his pupil Garmadon to win at all costs, no matter who got hurt. As the ninja finally confronted Chen and his Anacondrai worshippers, Garmadon remembered this lesson...he sacrificed himself, dragging Chen and his army to the Cursed Realm and leaving behind a grieving Lloyd.
	Skylor	Skylor, the mysterious Master of Amber and daughter of Master Chen, has the uncanny ability to absorb and replicate the Elemental Power of others. Her mother was an original Elemental Master. Skylor was definitely the recipient of Kai’s affections from the start. It was the strength of this bond that helped her defy her father. Not many know, but Skylor still possesses the powers of each of the Elemental Masters fighting in the Tournament of Elements. When Master Chen was banished to the Cursed Realm, she decided to take over the family noodle business and lead a quieter and normal life.
	Karlof	Karlof is the Elemental Master of Metal and a descendant of the original Elemental Master. He worked as an aeronautical engineer in Metalonia, but he found he was happier just hammering opponents with his metal fists. When he smashes his fists together, his entire body becomes metal. He also has greater than average durability. Although he comes across as brutal and rough, he shows great loyalty to his friends and was a huge help to the ninja in their battle on Chen’s island.
	Griffin Turner	Griffin Turner is the Elemental Master of Speed and the grandson of the original Elemental Master. His power of super-speed earned him an invitation to the Tournament of Elements. Griffin Turner is preoccupied by speed. He’s swift-talking, quick-thinking and fast-acting, in whatever order is quickest.

It was equipped with “replicate software” that allowed it to change its appearance. Among the features of the DB X were a detachable control center, dual cockpit and a concealed launcher. Two additional vehicles, a flyer and Kai’s motorcycle, could detach themselves and operate independently of the DB X. Nya and Dareth used the DB X to spy on Master Chen’s activities, but the vehicle was later hijacked by Chen.

Like Zane’s former beast, the Titanium Dragon has the power of ice. Different to his initial dragon, the Titanium Dragon is not, in fact, a physical beast, but a manifestation of Zane’s courage and ability to triumph over doubt.

When Chen was exiled to this island after the Serpentine War, Garmadon and Wu were not aware until very late that Chen was building a criminal empire. During his reign here, the entire island was cloaked by Clouse’s magic and visits were by invitation only. Chen’s army of Anacondrai worshippers was located here, as well as his tournament arena. Geographically diverse, with a volcano, mountains and waterfalls, those allowed to visit here soon discovered they could never leave without Chen’s permission. Honeycombed with secret passages and trapdoors, the palace was much like its owner: it presented one face to the world, and a very different one behind the scenes. A network of tunnels beneath the palace led to the Underground Noodle Factory and a long-lost Anacondrai temple, home to Clouse’s pet serpent. The ninja and the other Elemental Masters were “guests” here during the Tournament of Elements. Zane was held prisoner in one of the many underground chambers.

Lloyd was pitted against Chamille in what seemed at first like a simple event: a race on roller skates while carrying Jade blades. The name refers to the monuments carved here, all of which depict an honored figure from NINJAGO history. After the defeat of Master Chen, a statue of Garmadon was added to the corridor, to honor his sacrifice.

Just the wonderful smell of the delicacies served within is enough to lure people in off the street. What no one knew was that the smiling owner of the chain, Master Chen, was in reality a master criminal and his noodles were made by slave labor. When Skylor took over the family business, she kept the company name, but changed entirely the unethical and illegal way the business was run.

It’s known for its Slither Pit fights, hosted by the Hypnobrai announcer Mezmo. After the ninja team broke up, Kai fought here for a time under the name “the Red Shogun.”

	Clouse's Spell Book	Also referred to as The Book of Spells. Clouse’s Spell Book is an ancient volume belonging to the Master of Dark Arts, filled with powerful magic and forbidden spells. Master Chen’s particular interest in the book was the Spell of Transformation, which would allow him and his Cultists to turn themselves into Anacondrai. This transformation is only temporary, however – in order to make it permanent, the essence of a true Anacondrai is needed. This little though essential information is found on page 148. Another spell in the book can be used to banish someone to the Cursed Realm. After Master Chen’s defeat, Clouse’s Spell Book was burnt by the ninja.
	The Anacondrai Sword	The Anacondrai Sword is the sharpest of blades in the NINJAGO world, once wielded by the Anacondrai during the Serpentine War. Master Chen managed to collect many of these bone-colored weapons and armed his Anacondrai Cultists with them after they were transformed. In the wake of Chen’s defeat, the whereabouts of the weapons are unknown.
	The Jade Blades	The Jade Blades were weapons used as prizes and symbols of survival in Chen’s “Tournament of Elements”. A victorious fighter received a blade as a sign that he or she could move on to the next round. Failure to earn one meant elimination from the competition. The blades are carved from ancient serpent bone and possess no known extra powers.
	The Staff of Elements	The Staff of Elements was forged from two rare elements: Blue Crystal found in the Crystal Caves, and Chrono-steel. Chrono-steel is the only metal that is capable of absorbing the powers of living beings. Atop the staff is a Blue Crystal orb which is essential to its function, as it makes it possible for the staff to contain the powers of more than one person at once. Together, he who holds the staff holds the power. The energies of the staff would corrupt any who wielded it. Master Chen used the staff to steal the elemental powers of the fallen fighters in his tournament. Cole destroyed the staff, and the powers it contained were returned to the elemental masters.

Season Five: Possession

A grieving Lloyd is possessed by the ghost of Morro – the Master of Wind and Wu’s first student. In Lloyd’s body, Morro renders the other ninja powerless before stealing Wu’s staff. It contains three hidden symbols, the path to finding the Tomb of First Spinjitzu Master. Wu knows that if Morro finds the tomb, he will claim the Realm Crystal. This relic has the power to open the fabric between realms, enabling the powerful Preeminent to enter the NINJAGO world.The remaining ninja follow the clues to Yang’s Haunted Temple and learn the ancient art of aerial combat, Airjitzu. There disaster strikes. Warned to leave the Temple by sunrise, Cole waits too long and is transformed into a ghost! Then they scale the Wailing Alps to retrieve the Sword of Sanctuary from the Cloud Kingdom, only for Ronin to steal the weapon at the last moment. Meanwhile Nya discovers her mother was a Master of Water and struggles to unlock her own True Potential.Finally, they reach the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master, saving Lloyd and restoring their powers. But Morro escapes with the Realm Crystal and all the ninja can do is prepare for the Preeminent’s arrival.In the City of Stixx, Lloyd is pulled into the Cursed Realm by Morro and there Lloyd meets his father. Garmadon tells him that the Preeminent IS the Cursed Realm and must be defeated to save the NINJAGO world. With a heavy heart Lloyd pursues Morro across the realms and finally tricks the ghost into destroying himself. At the same time, the ninja confront the Preeminent, just as Nya unlocks her True Potential. She creates a tidal wave with her new Water Power, toppling the entity into the sea and drowning it. Master Wu uses the Realm Crystal to bring Lloyd back and the ninja celebrate their victory.

He feels he has to save him single-handedly, but really he needs the whole team. They all have weaknesses, but their individual strengths come together to win the day.
	Jay	Jay is a big fan of fantasy adventure stories and games, so even when things look bleak, he’s quite enjoying this quest filled with magical relics, mysterious riddles and dangerous temple traps. Best of all is the chance to learn the lost martial art of “Airjitzu” which allows the user to take flight!
	Zane	Unavailable
	Cole	The threat posed by Morro is particularly hard on Cole. Not only must he battle his greatest fear, ghosts, but he spends a moment too long in the Temple of Airjitzu and becomes one himself! He will learn that change, no matter how frightening, can be an opportunity as well.
	Nya	With the exception of Cole, no one undergoes a bigger change than Nya. After years forging her own path as Samurai X, she discovers her mother was the Master of Water. Can she unlock her true potential? Does she want to be a ninja? After some reluctance and with the help of Misako, she “goes with the flow” and becomes a powerful weapon against the Preeminent.

	Misako	Misako was thinking about retirement when she bought the tea farm with Master Wu. Now any thoughts of a few customers and tranquil evenings on the plantation are gone. Instead, Misako finds herself busy helping Nya unlock her true potential as Morro threatens all the realms.
	Morro	Long ago, Morro, the Master of Wind, was Master Wu’s first pupil. He had great talent and Wu believed he was on the path to becoming the Green Ninja. However, at the crucial moment, the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu did not react to him (as they would one day for Lloyd). Wu attempted to convince Morro to give up on his quest, but the embittered young man refused. Morro went off on his own in search of the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master and perished in the Caves of Despair (it’s believed he may have been killed by the explosive geysers present in the caves). For reasons that remain a mystery, he was banished to the Cursed Realm. Morro later escaped, possessed Lloyd’s body and led a ghostly legion into battle in the NINJAGO world. In the end, the Preeminent dragged Morro beneath the water and his ghostly form was destroyed.
	Ronin	Ronin is a master thief who disposed of the things he stole by selling them in a pawnshop he owned in the City of Stiix. He is in it for the money and, most of the time, cares only about himself. At some point in the past, Ronin made a bet with Soul Archer and lost his soul, then didn’t pay up. When Soul Archer escaped the Cursed Realm, he went after Ronin for payment. Ronin had to do services for the ghost in order to get his soul back. The ninja encountered Ronin when they traveled to the City of Stiix in search of the Scroll of Airjitzu, which Ronin had stolen. Ronin demanded a very high price for the scroll. He later traded information on another way to learn Airjitzu to Kai in exchange for the ninja team’s shares in Master Wu’s tea farm. This made him a partner in the business. He is resourceful and clever, but his attitude still brings him into conflict with some of the ninja. Ronin still struggles between his new life as an ally of the ninja and his old, when the only things that mattered were profit and survival. Deep down, he has a good heart, he is just reluctant to show that sometimes.

	Soul Archer	The ghostly lieutenant known as Soul Archer may have a mysterious past, but one thing is clear: at some point, before being banished to the Cursed Realm, Soul Archer made a bet with Ronin. The master thief lost his soul in the wager and had to do things to aid Soul Archer if he ever wanted to be able to get his soul back. Soul Archer is incredibly skilled with his bow and arrows. His arrows are capable of turning others into ghosts. Soul Archer is destroyed along with the Cursed Realm when the Preeminent is defeated.

	Skreemers	Skreemers are low-level ghosts with the power to turn anyone they touch into a ghost temporarily. Initially, Soul Archer uses them as arrowheads. Later, the Skreemers function independently. They got their name from the fact that they scream as they fly. Skreemers seem to require a lot of food, and they are usually seen carrying something to eat.

The mech proves a great help to the ghosts as they make the ascent. After Ghoultar’s defeat at the hands of Zane and his Titan Mech, Mech-Enstein tumbles off the mountain and into the snow.

When Borg turned it over to Cole, he had made sure it was well suited for him, even down to the radio stations (everything was pre-set to Cole’s favorite music, soft rock). Armed with twin carbide blasters, it proved an effective weapon against Morro’s legion, but was finally destroyed when Cole rode it right into the Preeminent’s mouth.

This single seat vehicle’s primary weapon is a cannon that can absorb Skreemers and other ghosts and deposit them in a holding tank in the rear. Although officially named the Ghost Taker GT, Jay liked to call it the “Jay Walker One,” after himself. The vehicle was destroyed in battle by the Preeminent.
Unavailable	Master Wu's Dragon	Many secrets remain about the true extent of Master Wu’s powers and abilities. Although he is not an Elemental Master, he has the willpower to be able to summon a dragon to aid him. While Wu is able to call upon this white and gold dragon, as the other ninja can theirs, there is evidence that Wu’s dragon can affect the physical world in ways that Elemental Dragons cannot. The true nature of this dragon remains a mystery.

The Chain Cycle is seemingly destroyed following the collapse of a water tower on it during a battle with the ninja.

Unavailable	City of Stiix	Commonly known as the “city built on water,” Stiix is a rancid and rundown coastal city populated primarily by fishmongers and vagrants. It always looks like it is one stiff breeze away from falling apart. Known for being constantly in need of repair and smelling so bad even the rats have moved out, it was the perfect site for Ronin’s pawnshop. Stiix was also Morro’s home base for a time and the scene of the Preeminent’s arrival in the NINJAGO realm.
Unavailable	Cloud Kingdom	One of the 16 parallel realms connected to the NINJAGO world, Cloud Kingdom is perhaps the most mysterious of them all. The residents of this place are actually the ones who write the destinies of everyone in the NINJAGO world. It was they who decided Cole would be a ghost, Zane a nindroid and that Lloyd would become the Green Ninja. Somehow, though, Morro was able to escape his destiny of banishment to the Cursed Realm, which raises the possibility that someone in Cloud Kingdom provided him aid. The realm consists of a collection of beautiful buildings constructed on top of clouds. Dominating the landscape is a single tower that houses the Sword of Sanctuary.
Unavailable	Ronin's Pawn Shop	Small business located in the City of Stiix and operated by master thief Ronin. Here Ronin kept all of the things he had stolen, including the Jade Blade, the Obsidian Armor, the Blade Cup trophy and Master Yang’s Scroll of Airjitzu. During a battle between the ninja and Morro’s ghosts, the shop was destroyed. It later served as Morro’s base in this realm. Needing new space, Ronin eventually rented a place in NINJAGO City.
Unavailable	Temple of Airjitzu	Located on Haunted Hill, the Temple of Airjitzu (also known as “Yang’s Haunted Temple”) is an ancient building that was once home to Master Yang and his students. In a way, it still is home to them, although now they are all ghosts. It was here that Yang invented the discipline of Airjitzu. Unfortunately, this was also the place where Yang carried out rituals designed to grant him immortality. The attempt backfired horribly and turned him and his students into spirits. According to local legend, anyone who is inside the temple at sunrise will also become a ghost. That doesn’t prevent tour guides from making a good living taking people through the temple, in fact, it probably helps their business. Everybody likes a good haunt. Among the notable features of the temple grounds are a blacksmith shop, a bridge guarded by stone dragons and a spinning shadow theater.
Unavailable	Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master	An extremely ancient place of power, long believed to be just a legend, the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master is almost impossible to locate. The sole clues to its location were carved onto Master Wu’s bo staff by the First Spinjitzu Master, although Wu did not know this. Only a master of Spinjitzu can hope to reach its gates, and even then, the way is not easy. First, one must possess the Scroll of Airjitzu and learn that discipline. After climbing the Wailing Alps and going through the vortex into the Cloud Kingdom, it’s necessary to obtain the Sword of Sanctuary. Using the Sword, it is possible to reveal the location of the tomb. The tomb is actually below the ocean, with three dangerous traps designed to protect the contents from intruders. The Sword of Sanctuary is necessary to navigate past these traps. Located inside the tomb is the fabled Realm Crystal, which allows the wielder to access any of the 16 realms.

They say the winds can gust so powerfully at times that they could blow a traveler right off the mountains. Bitterly cold, with almost constant snowfall, the Wailing Alps are among the most inhospitable places in the NINJAGO world.

Each of the 16 facets of the crystal provides entry to a different realm. The Realm Crystal was created by the First Spinjitzu Master and no one knows if more than one is in existence. The First Spinjitzu Master knew the crystal was incredibly powerful and could cause terrible danger if it fell into the wrong hands, so he had it sealed within his tomb. The Realm Crystal is blue in color.
	Sword of Sanctuary	Found in a tower in the Cloud Kingdom realm, the Sword of Sanctuary is a potentially devastating weapon in combat. The wielder can see his opponent’s next move reflected in the surface of the blade ahead of time, allowing him to counter it. The ninja use the Sword to help them navigate through the traps and dangers that surround the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master.
	Wu's Bo Staff	Wu’s staff originally belonged to his father, the First Spinjitzu Master. Unknown to Wu, the staff’s engravings were clues to the location of the First Spinjitzu Master’s tomb. Wu had spent many years searching for his father’s final resting place, never knowing he held the clues in his hand.

Season Six: Skybound

With the defeat of Morro’s ghost invasion, the ninja have now become huge media celebrities. But dark forces once more threaten NINJAGO Island as the Teapot of Tyrahn is rediscovered by the ghost of Clouse, Master Chen’s former right-hand man. He allows Nadakhan, an evil Djinn and captain of the infamous Misfortune’s Keep, to escape the teapot. After reassembling his pirate crew, Nadakhan returns to his home realm of Djinjago, to find it collapsing. This destruction, caused by the ninja defeating the Preeminent, leads Nadakhan to vow revenge. He refits his ship so it can fly and prepares to attack. Now they are Sky Pirates. He plans to recreate Djinjago in the skies using pieces torn from NINJAGO Island. In his way are the ninja, but each one is tested by the Djinn’s wish-granting powers. They find their desires twisted against them. One by one they find themselves trapped in his Djinn Blade where their energy makes Nadakhan more powerful. Then Nadakhan sees Nya, who looks exactly like his long-lost love, Delara. If he can marry Nya, it will restore Delara’s spirit and grant the Djinn infinite wishes. As Nadakhan plans a wedding, the remaining ninja seek the venom of the giant Tiger Widow spider, the only thing that can slow down the all-powerful Djinn. But to harvest it they must battle sand worms and Sky Pirates, and by the time Jay frees his friends from the Djinn Blade, they are unable to stop the forced marriage. Then the Sky Pirates, each one a victim of Nadakhan’s wish-spells, mutiny and use the Tiger Widow venom. But just as Nadakhan is defeated and his spells reverse, Nya is touched by the poison and begins to die. In his grief, Jay makes his final wish – that the Teapot of Tyrahn had never been found. The world resets to the start of the story with Nadakhan again trapped and the teapot dumped into the sea. Only Jay and Nya, now a couple, remember anything that has happened.

He has no special powers and is much better at talking than taking effective action. It was only later, when he played a vital role in stopping the Stone Army, that the ninja accepted him as one of their own and he got the title: Brown Ninja. Dareth is a “master” of all animal fighting styles. According to him, he is the Master of Disguise, with the ability to create fake identities. Once the ninja become big celebrities, Dareth takes on the roles of manager, promoter and movie director for the team.
	Djinn King	The Djinn King is Nadakhan’s father and was the ruler of the realm of Djinjago. When Djinjago began to crumble, the Djinn King refused to leave, preferring to perish with his kingdom. He bestowed the Djinn Blade on Nadakhan before sending him back to the NINJAGO realm.

Unavailable	Cyren	Cyren wanted to be the world’s greatest singer. Nadakhan granted her wish by giving her a voice that could throw people into a trance. As a result, becoming a member of his pirate crew became her only option. Cyren can mesmerize the guards in a coastal village or the crew of an opposing ship with one song. Sailors who know of her take care to always keep a supply of earplugs on hand.
	Tommy – The Bad Detective	Tommy is part of a team of NINJAGO City police detectives whose job it is to get suspects to confess. His role is to be mean and harsh to the suspect, in order to either scare him into confessing or make it more likely he will confess to “good” detective Simon, who is being friendly and nice.
Unavailable	Captain Soto	Captain Soto is a pirate and the original captain of Destiny’s Bounty, back in the long-ago days when it was a sailing ship. A sinister pirate, he perished many years ago but was brought back to life by Lord Garmadon’s Mega-Weapon. He seized control of Garmadon’s ship and tried to return to his life of piracy, but was defeated by the ninja and sent to Kryptarium Prison. It was later revealed that Soto had been the one who imprisoned Nadakhan in the Teapot of Tyrahn. Soto had used Tiger Widow venom to slow the Djinn down long enough to defeat him. Fearing the Djinn might escape one day, Soto hid a map showing the location of Tiger Widow Island in a lantern on Misfortune’s Keep. He was part of the team Jay recruited to rescue Nya and the other ninja from Nadakhan.
	Commissioner	The Commissioner is the very stressed and temperamental official in charge of the NINJAGO City Police Department. He tends to act first and think later, so when it appears the ninja are committing crimes, he immediately orders their arrest. Later, he joins Jay’s team of heroes on a rescue mission to save Nya and the other ninja from Nadakhan. The Commissioner was a blue-ribbon swimmer in his younger years. When he gets upset, his eyes begin to twitch.
	Simon – The Good Detective	Simon is part of a team of NINJAGO City police detectives whose job it is to get suspects to confess. His role is to be kind to anyone who is being questioned – getting them water, something to eat, and generally being a friend – in the hope of winning their trust.

When Nadakhan escaped the Teapot of Tyrahn and retrieved his crew from the realms they had been banished to, the ship was refit for action. Monkey Wretch converted it to a flying vessel and designed other vehicles like the Raid Zeppelin. Thus, Nadakhan’s pirate crew became Sky Pirates. Heavily armed with cannons, the ship was both fast and maneuverable. Unknown to Nadakhan, the map to Tiger Widow Island was hidden in a lantern on board. Although Jay did not know that Gordon was his biological father, Gordon knew about Jay and followed his ninja career from the beginning. He kept a blue ninja outfit and pictures of Jay in his house to remind him of his son. Gordon also had a secret room in the house where he kept costumes and memorabilia from his movies. With the news that the late Gordon was his father, Jay is now the legal owner of his mansion.
Unavailable	Djinjago	Djinjago is one of the 16 realms parallel to the NINJAGO world and accessible via the Realm Crystal. It was home to Nadakhan’s people, the Djinn, who had the power to grant wishes to others. Djinjago was a place of floating sky islands connected by ancient stone bridges. When the ninja destroyed the Cursed Realm, they unwittingly destroyed Djinjago too (Djinjago being close enough in dimensional space to the Cursed Realm to be affected by its destruction). The Endless Sea is well stocked with marine life, some of it monstrous, including Starteeth, sharks, the Leviathan and more.

Unavailable	Repo Yard	The repo yard is a site filled with old cars, metal junk and vehicles that have been confiscated by the NINJAGO City Police. It is located on the outskirts of NINJAGO City in the Northern Sea of Sand and protected by an electrified fence and a mean dog. Destiny’s Bounty wound up here after being seized by the police. The repo yard was the first site stolen by Nadakhan to be part of his recreated Djinjago, so nothing exists there now but a big hole.

Captain Soto imprisoned Nadakhan inside the Teapot, where he remained until freed by Clouse. Nadakhan showed his “gratitude” by trapping Clouse inside, and later captured Master Wu and Misako as well. Opening the Teapot requires aligning the symbols on three rotating rings. Like a combination lock, the three rotating rings make up a pirate symbol. After Nadakhan destroyed the Teapot, Clouse, Wu and Misako went into the Djinn Blade.
Unavailable	Tiger Widow Island	Tiger Widow Island is a small tropical landmass in the Endless Sea. It is named for its most infamous inhabitant, the massive Tiger Widow spider. The Tiger Widow makes its nest here, but it is not the only resident. The island is also home to sand worms, which burrow beneath the surface and react aggressively to any movement above. The location of Tiger Widow Island is not listed on any published map or included in any map database. The only map to reveal its whereabouts was a chart prepared by Captain Soto and hidden in a lantern on board Misfortune’s Keep.

Unavailable	Clancee's Mop	Clancee is rarely seen without his mop, which he keeps on hand in case he spots a mess that needs cleaning (plus no one trusts him with a sword). He’s used it in a fight a few times, although it hasn’t had much effect beyond getting his opponents really clean. Clancee takes a lot of pride in his mop and won’t even let Sqiffy and Bucko use it, even though, as new recruits, cleaning up should really be their job.
	Djinn Blade	The Djinn Blade, also known as the Sword of Souls, is the weapon of the royal house of Djinjago. Upon the realm’s destruction, the king passed it on to his son, Nadakhan. The sword has the unique power to trap spirits within its blade, allowing the wielder to use their life force to increase his own power. It holds the spirits of Nadakhan’s forefathers and all those who have fallen before the blade. Nadakhan set out to capture the ninja by manipulating them into making wishes that went terribly wrong. He eventually trapped Cole, Kai, Lloyd and Zane in the sword, along with Wu, Misako and Clouse (the latter three were originally trapped in the Teapot of Tyrahn, but when the Teapot is destroyed, their spirits travel into the sword). They were later freed from the sword by Jay.
Unavailable	Dogshank's Anchor	After Dogshank transformed, she looked around for a weapon she could carry that would really intimidate people. She looked at swords and axes and spears, but none of them did it for her. Then she thought of carrying an entire tree, but it was too hard to fit through doors. Finally, she settled on a ship’s anchor, which could be used like a melee weapon or thrown at a foe. Plus it came in handy if Misfortune’s Keep ever lost its anchor. And it gives Dogshank the chance to shout, “This anchor will sink you!”
	Tiger Widow Venom	The venom of the giant Tiger Widow spider is one of the most toxic substances in existence. A single drop of this substance is capable of causing death within minutes. It is also one of the only effective weapons against a Djinn, as it drains the magical being of energy and endurance. This has the effect of slowing down the normally super-fast Djinn, making it possible for other attacks to be launched successfully. Captain Soto used Tiger Widow venom to defeat Nadakhan and imprison him in the Teapot of Tyrahn. Jay harvested some of this venom on Tiger Widow Island for use on Nadakhan.

Trivia

• Chokun is the only Serpentine from Season 1 not to have a page. The reason for this is unknown.
• Snike's image is oddly missing his torso printing, even though he has it the full version of the render used.
• The character gallery for Season 2 originally only featured characters who appeared in the sets from the season, but it was later updated to include Misako, Captain Soto, and Dareth.
• The vehicle gallery for Season 3 features the NinjaCopter twice. The URL for the first one appears to link to a page for Cole's Earth Mech, but both pages are for the NinjaCopter. As such, the Earth Mech does not have a page.
  • The same issue is present in Season 3's location gallery, with the Temple of Fortitude appearing twice at the expense of New Ninjago City.
• Jay's Lightning off-roader is referred to as the Thunder Raider, even though "Thunder Raider" is only the name of the vehicle when it's combined with Cole's Earth Mech.
• The descriptions for the four Techno Blades are the same.
  • Originally, the weapon gallery for Season 5 mistakenly labeled all the weapons as Techno Blades. This was later fixed, but the page for Deepstone was left as if it was one of the Techno Blades.
• Though a gallery for Season 7 was added in 2017, it remains inaccessible as none of its pages were archived. However, there was a similar character gallery for Season 7 around the same time, and the description for the Vermillion Dome of Doom was also copied to this wiki when the site was up.
