NGTV (Ninjago Television), also known as NG News, is the primary television network for Ninjago City and its surrounding areas. Dan Vaapit appears to be the main anchor-man for NGTV, with Gayle Gossip as the main reporter on the ground. NGTV also appears to have a news helicopter and a landing pad on the rooftop of the Ninjago News Center.

History[]

Rise of the Snakes[]

Day of the Great Devourer[]

NGTV does a live broadcast on the Take Back Ninjago rally and quickly changes to broadcast the Great Devourer attacking Ninjago City.

The Day Ninjago Stood Still[]

Gayle Gossip and Vinny do a live coverage of the mysterious earthquakes affecting Ninjago City and the Stone Army attacking the city. When Vinny gets hit by Dareth, he gives up and runs away. Gayle then asked if Dareth can be her cameramen and he reluctantly agrees.

While Gayle Gossip is reporting on the Stone Army, a Stone Warrior approached her. Dareth tried to warn her, but Gayle Gossip ignored his warning and continued to report. Soon, she is wrestled by the warrior, but Zane kicks the warrior and rescued Gayle Gossip.

With Nya struggling to find a place to land, Gayle Gossip suggested the NGTV news station as a landing spot. Wu tells Lloyd to inform Nya about the new landing spot while Gayle Gossip informs the citizens of Ninjago City to head to the news station in order to evacuate.

Skybound[]

My Dinner With Nadakhan[]

Gayle Gossip is inside the NGTV helicopter and discovered all the lost land is floating in the air. Before the helicopter could get too close, they were shot down by Sky Pirates.

Gayle Gossip reported on the revealing of the BorgWatch and interviewed Dareth. After it is revealed, a Vermillion attacked them.

Scavengers[]

After the power went back on, Gayle Gossip was on TV, informing everyone the Vermillion soldiers were taking over Mega Monster Amusement Park.

At Dareth's bar, the ninja watched Gayle Gossip on TV, reporting the Sons of Garmadon leader Harumi's escape. Later, they watched at the Ninjago City Police Station where Gayle reports that Kryptarium Prison has been taken over by Harumi and Lord Garmadon.

Gayle reported on the news that the garbage depot has been ambushed.

On NGTV, Gayle instructed the citizens to leave the city to find safety.

Gayle went live on the harbor to report the unveiling of the Bounty.

Into the Breach[]

Vinny sent a distress call due to being trapped by the darkness. After Vinny was done, Gayle Gossip told him that they would be live soon.

Gayle Gossip was writing her script for her broadcast, but is forced to lay it off after the ninja arrived with the Bounty.

Snaketastrophy[]

NGTV does a live broadcast of the Pyro Vipers recking havoc on Ninjago City. However, the entire broadcast was filled with awkward moments such as Elemental Cobras interrupting the show, Gayle Gossip abandoning her initial report in order to find what the Elemental Cobras are doing and eventually being taken by Aspheera, May Robsen agreeing with Andrea Thomson despite holding a panel discussion, and Aspheera taking over the broadcast to make an announcement.

Powerless[]

Gayle Gossip and Vinny were forced to stay with Aspheera who takes them to the Ninjago Museum of History. When the ninja were fighting Aspheera, Gayle and Vinny escaped.

Ancient History[]

Gayle Gossip reported on the Pyro Vipers causing chaos in the city.

The Kaiju Protocol[]

Gayle is reporting on the Preeminent's arrival in Ninjago City when the Preeminent interrupts her and blows her news helicopter away. She is saved by Samurai X and watches them fight. After Samurai X defeats the Preeminent, she ends her broadcast, thanking Samurai X.

Trivia[]

  • Since Season 8, when Ninjargon began to be used, the NGTV logo has been one of the few inscriptions that are still written in English. That was changed since Season 11 where the logo shows "NG News" in Ninjargon.
  • Since Season 11, camera shots often appears, featuring lower captions in Ninjargon.
    • These captions always display "Breaking News" in a different order.
