General

General votes are proposed changes to the wiki.

  • If you want to propose and/or vote, you must have at least 100 mainspace edits (or 100 posts for Discussions based votes) and have been a member of the community for a month.
  • Votes are open for 3 days (or 18 hours, in case of image/tabber votes). In the event of a tie, voting will be extended for another 2 days (or 18 hours, in case of image/tabber votes). If still tied, the vote will be placed into deadlock and an admin will file a casting vote to determine the outcome.
  • You may only have one proposal at a time.
  • A maximum of five proposals are allowed at a time.
  • Before making a proposal, please make sure to check the archives just in case a similar proposal wasn't made earlier. Any duplicate proposals will be removed.
  • If you wish to overturn a previous proposal, you must consult with an admin first and they will decide if the proposal will be allowed back.
  • If you happen to drop your proposal, you may not create another proposal unless there is more than one spot available.
  • On proposals where you can choose between two mutually exclusive options, you can't oppose one of the options if you support the other option.
  • Proposals must align with Fandom's Terms of Use.

General votes should follow this template:

(Create New parts from Ninjago page) by Legoninjagofan600

Although this wiki focuses mainly on the show and not on sets and LEGO, as Brickipedia does, I still think it might work, as a few months ago a proposal for a Sets section on the season pages was approved and we also have a Hair page focused on LEGO parts and sets. My idea is to create a New parts from Ninjago page that would list all the new pieces in the sets each season, including the pictures, as you can see here. While this page may seem unnecessary to some, it may actually seem useful to others. This page would work very similarly to the Hair page. What do you think about it?

  2. Definitely. I can't find this information anywhere anyway :D PyrokineticNinjaMaster6913 (talk) 08:12, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
  3. Great idea, also we could have something at the end of the Sets section on each installment page where it says something like, "To see the parts that debuted in this set wave, see here" and link to the appropriate section of this page. Wikifan988 (talk) 22:50, 2 August 2021 (UTC)

(Have an "On this day…") by Printer89

Currently, this idea is in its developing stages, but the plan is to have it on the main page and list any events which happened today. Events like episodes/sets/books/spinners/songs being released, and birthdates for those who work for Ninjago is only the beginning. This can be very useful for users who may not realize that on a specific day, something actually happened.

(Stop calling Tommy's stories non-canon) by Wikifan988

Tommy Andreasen has gone from calling Way of the Departed and The Splinter in the Blind Man's Eye "non-canon" to "could-be-canon". On this wiki, "could-be-canon" essentially means the same thing as "canon", as Tommy has said that stories can be considered canon unless they are contradicted by the show. WotD and Splinter fit this definition and the non-canon label is no longer used, which is evidently a deliberate decision on Tommy's part for one reason or another. So, I believe it would make the most sense to remove the non-canon label from information relating to these two stories, though of course the information about past statements would remain in trivia.

  1. I agree that we should stop calling them "non-canon." But why can't we call them "could-be-canon"? We could also create a template for this and use it in other cases when something could be canon, but it wasn't officially confirmed. Person from Ninjago \ 23:30, 2 August 2021 (UTC)

@Person from Ninjago We had a template for this in the past but deleted it because we decided it was overkill and the info could just be in the trivia.Ninja72 (talk) 05:25, 3 August 2021 (UTC)

If we have a template for non-canon, why can't we have one for this? Something like, "This topic could be canon, but we have not any official confirmation for this." Person from Ninjago \ 18:13, 3 August 2021 (UTC)

(Remove categories about Elemental Powers for sets unless it appears) by Samurai viper

By looking how the category about the elements, I think we should do something about it when it comes to the sets.

Sets like 71709 Jay and Lloyd's Velocity Racers shouldn't have the Lightning category, as none of the LEGO pieces are used to represent Lightning in the set (especially since Elemental Powers cannot be used in Prime Empire). And the only reason the category is included in said set is because it features Jay.

However, sets like 70673 ShuriCopter and 70603 Raid Zeppelin should have the Lightning category, as some of the LEGO pieces are used to represent Lightning, like the Forbidden Spinjitzu spinner and the Djinn Blade.

So I'm saying, we should remove categories such Lightning or Fire for the sets unless it appears as an actual LEGO piece.

  4. I actually think this was being done at some point last year. I still think there are too many categories although we did end up changing the way they were done a bit last year. -Toa Kopaka Nuva (talk)
