The Ninjago Wiki holds several votes to ensure that the wiki stays community-driven. Below are the three types of votes held on the wiki.
User Rights Requests

General
General votes are proposed changes to the wiki.
- If you want to propose and/or vote, you must have at least 100 mainspace edits (or 100 posts for Discussions based votes) and have been a member of the community for a month.
- Votes are open for 3 days (or 18 hours, in case of image/tabber votes). In the event of a tie, voting will be extended for another 2 days (or 18 hours, in case of image/tabber votes). If still tied, the vote will be placed into deadlock and an admin will file a casting vote to determine the outcome.
- You may only have one proposal at a time.
- A maximum of five proposals are allowed at a time.
- Before making a proposal, please make sure to check the archives just in case a similar proposal wasn't made earlier. Any duplicate proposals will be removed.
- If you wish to overturn a previous proposal, you must consult with an admin first and they will decide if the proposal will be allowed back.
- If you happen to drop your proposal, you may not create another proposal unless there is more than one spot available.
- On proposals where you can choose between two mutually exclusive options, you can't oppose one of the options if you support the other option.
- Proposals must align with Fandom's Terms of Use.
General votes should follow this template:
===(Name of proposal) by {{U|Username}}=== Reason for the vote. {{Support}} # {{Oppose}} # {{Neutral}} # {{Comment}} {{Countdown|Month Day Year Time UTC}}
(Make draft pages when proposing to create previously rejected articles, templates, or projects) by Unfortunate 666
This would've come in handy with the separating types of ninja stuff, as with drafts people can properly view what it would be like. Articles are used for Draft:, templates are for Template draft:, and Ninjago wiki is Ninjago Wiki draft:. This would be the three templates for draft pages.
This article is a draft. If opposed at Ninjago Wiki:Votes, it will be deleted. |
This project is a draft. If opposed at Ninjago Wiki:Votes, it will be deleted. |
This template is a draft. If opposed at Ninjago Wiki:Votes, it will be deleted. |

We allow sandbox pages here so I don't really think this needs to be a vote. --Toa Kopaka Nuva (talk) 01:00, August 4, 2020 (UTC)
Except that the page is crowded and it would be harder to find, while draft pages are easier because it can simply be searched up and it is not mixed up. MISFORTUNE (talk) 12:01, August 4, 2020 (UTC)
The page isn't really that crowded because users don't use the page that much. If you type in Ninjago Wiki:Sandbox, you can find it. Printer89 (talk) 12:32, August 4, 2020 (UTC)
You can also create your own user sandbox page so you don’t have to use one others are using. --Toa Kopaka Nuva (talk) 13:34, August 6, 2020 (UTC)
(Add references to past or future Ninjago installments onto the season pages) by LuigiMaster41
Hello, Ninjago Wiki users! LuigiMaster41 here, and I would like to propose an idea I came up with. For the season pages and any specials, we should add a sub-heading referencing past or future seasons. Let me give an example:
For the Season 10: March of the Oni page
References from past seasons
- Season 8: Sons of Garmadon - A mural was painted to represent the events of Season 8.
For the Season 2: Legacy of the Green Ninja:
References in future installments
- Season 10: March of the Oni - A mural was painted to represent the events of Season 2. Also, the Golden Weapons make a physical return in "Endings". Also, the ending of the season is very familiar to the ending of the season 2 finale.
I do not expect this idea to pass, but I thought it was worth a try to see what other users think. Please share your thoughts and views below!

(Split Samurai Mech page) by Wikifan988
The original mech and Pixal's 2.0 mech are 2 different vehicles, Pixal's being a completely rebuilt and different version of the original like the Bounty 2.0 and Ultra Stealth Raider.

1. Template:NinjaAbilities
2. A "Games" navbox similar to Template:Books (have not made this one yet). See Category:Video Games for what would be included in it.
3. A "Substances" navbox, which would include The Great Devourer's Venom, Dark Matter, all Category:Stone pages except for Stone Hawk and Stone Army, and any others I may not have thought of. The label of the navbox would be "Non-Elemental Substances", so that no one would accidentally be confused and add it to Elemental Power pages.

(Set a maximum amount of proposals made by one user on the votes) by LuigiMaster41
Hello, Ninjago Wiki users! LuigiMaster41 here, and I would like to add a rule to the votes. The rule is that I would like to set a maximum amount of how many proposals can be made by one user. I would like to add this rule because it seems unfair that if other users want to make a vote, yet they have to wait for other votes to end, which two may be made by the same user. I would like to set a maximum of how many proposals can be made by one user. There is no Support or Oppose votes. The oppose vote is "Discard the rule".
Thanks for reading!
LuigiMaster41 (talk) 20:37, August 6, 2020 (UTC)
1 proposal per user
2 proposals per user
Discard the rule
- Rather than a proposal limit, a proposal time limit would be better, although for how long should be up for discussion. Quinton1721, He Who Will Fight All of Asia 20:49, August 6, 2020 (UTC)

- Comments @Quinton1721 Maybe the usual 4 days, if you want to use a proposal time limit. LuigiMaster41 (talk) 20:57, August 6, 2020 (UTC)
I think they should be determined by drasticity. MISFORTUNE (talk) 21:01, August 6, 2020 (UTC)
Four days wouldn't change the proposal spam much. Quinton1721, He Who Will Fight All of Asia 21:42, August 6, 2020 (UTC)
@Quinton1721 Wait. Proposal spam? What do you mean by that?
LuigiMaster41 (talk) 22:00, August 6, 2020 (UTC)
Adding more than one proposal during a certain time frame - spamming proposals. Quinton1721, He Who Will Fight All of Asia 22:30, August 6, 2020 (UTC)
