The LEGO Ninjago Movie[]
After defeating Garmadon, the ninja went back to the Ninja Mech Garage, soon after they had arrived Master Wu came back from his 'enlightening journey'. He presented it them the elements that they were to learn, but Lloyd was not satisfied with his element, green, so Wu took him aside to have a 'mentor talk', and he told the rest of the ninja to practice Spinjitzu for 3 hours, and giving them each a copy of Ninjanuity.

- The name "Ninjanuity" seems to be a pun on the word "ingenuity".
- Garmadon wrote a similar book called Ninjelligence.
- The caption reads "the way of the ninja," which is a reference to the first episode of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, "Way of the Ninja."
