- He has Heavy Metal's face print.
- He is the second character who reuses Iron Baron's torso after Jet Jack variant (Coincidentally, both minifigures appear as a gift in Ninjago Magazine).
- He is one of the four characters to be released exclusively in a Ninjago Magazine issue, the others being Sawyer (issue 35), Buffer (issues 37 and 38), and Talon (issue 41).
- Unlike Sawyer and Buffer, he and Talon did not appear in any of the Ninjago Magazine comics. However, in How to Catch a Dragon!, a dragon hunter with Talon haircut can be seen from the back, but he wears different shoulder pad, making it impossible so say if this is indeed Talon.
