The Overlord hard drive[1] was a hard drive used by Borg Industries that held The Overlord in a digitized state following his defeat in The Final Battle.
History[]
Following the Final Battle and the construction of Borg Tower, this hard drive was originally one of many used by the tower's computer systems. One day however, Cyrus Borg discovered the existence of the Overlord lying dormant within his company's systems in the form of a digitized computer virus. Borg was able to isolate and imprison the Overlord in his digitized form to this one particular hard drive, but the Overlord's dark influence remained strong, casting a shadow over Borg and his creations as he covertly began to develop a way to wipe the hard drive clean of the Overlord.
Blackout[]
After the ninja shut down the power station at the Storm Farms, cutting off New Ninjago City of all power, Pythor covertly infiltrated Borg Tower and stole the hard drive, bringing it to a secret hideout within the tower's bowels. There, Pythor inserted the hard drive into a console and brought the Overlord's digitized form back online.
