The News Never Sleeps![]
Sometime prior, Nelson got a job as a paperboy, and had shown up on his first day with Leroy and another paperboy teasing him about how long he'll stay, but some defend him. Before Nelson could reply, their boss, Sammy, showed up telling them about routes being blocked, two paperboys out with injuries, and one quitting. He then has Antonia, who arrives late, to supervise Nelson.
The Message[]
Antonia, Nelson, and Leroy start their day with one man stopping Nelson so that he could get a newspaper from him.

Some of the paperboys were seen at Benny's Arcade Emporium.
Would You Like to Enter Prime Empire?[]
Nelson and Antonia fistbump after finishing their paper routes.
Later, Sammy, Antonia, Leroy, and another paperboy are inside Benny's Arcade Emporium when there's a blackout. After the blackout, the games are changed to Prime Empire.
Gayle Gossip: A Closer Look[]
Sammy, Antonia, Nelson, and Leroy are seen lining up outside of Benny's Arcade Emporium. Later, Nelson talks about the hype of the game and his mother who has mysteriously disappeared after playing Prime Empire.
While Gayle Gossip is giving a report, Nelson enters Prime Empire.
Dyer Island[]
Sammy and another paperboy watch Leroy play Prime Empire before leaving, annoyed that he would take too long. Leroy reached level 13 and entered the game.

When Sammy announced Antonia was quitting, everyone was against the idea before they were immediately told to do their paper runs. However, after her and Nelson's attempt to keep the Storm Amulet away from Kalmaar and saving Kai from drowning, she changes her mind.
The Calm Before the Storm[]
The paperboys were at Benny's Arcade Emporium playing Prime Empire.
Assault on Ninjago City[]
The paperboys were trapped within Benny's Arcade Emporium at the start of the Great Flood, but were fortunately rescued by Lloyd and taken back to the surface.
The Turn of the Tide[]
The paperboys attended Nya's memorial following the Great Flood and paid their respects to the savior of Ninjago City.
