We have been taught from one generation to the next that one day, our vigil over this Core would end when heroes came from the temple, asking permission to save the world.”

The pink Dragon Core is one of the three Dragon Cores created by the First Spinjitzu Master. It was formerly guarded by the Mucoids in the Mother Garden.

History[]

Background[]

The pink Dragon Core, along with the other two, were formed from the dragon energy of the Source Dragons by the First Spinjitzu Master, being used to stop the Coalescence. However, to ensure that the cores did not fall into the wrong hands, the First Spinjitzu Master entrusted the Mucoids with the task of safeguarding the pink Dragon Core in the Mother Garden.[2][3]

Between Gangs of the Sea and They Call It Doom[]

Rapton arrived in the Mother Garden to take the Dragon Core. However, the Mucoids apprehended him, trapping him in a jello-like substance and sentencing him to execution.

They Call It Doom[]

Arriving in the Mother Garden on the Destiny's Bounty, Lloyd and Arin found this Dragon Core as described by the Spirit of the Temple. Arin was going to take the Core, but Lloyd cautioned that it would be wiser to ask permission from those entrusted with guarding it. As it turns out, the Mucoids, hidden in their shells, had surrounded the Core. Zant-Tanz praised Lloyd for passing their test, and, upon hearing their tale, entrusted the Core to the ninja. However, upon hearing of Rapton's fate, Lloyd reluctantly chose to walk the Impossible Path in order to ensure Rapton's survival. After he was freed, Rapton immediately attacked them, taking the Dragon Core. Unfortunately, he ran straight into Denholt and Karit, who tased him. Citing the Dragon Core as an unlicensed cosmic power source, they opened a portal to The Administration to file the paperwork. Lloyd and Arin quickly jumped through the portal before it closed.

The Administration[]

The Dragon Core was classified as a dangerous Class B artifact and was slated for incineration. Lloyd arrived and quickly saved the Dragon Core, bringing it back to the Monastery of Spinjitzu for safekeeping.

The Power Within[]

After the MergeQuake weapon was destroyed, Alfonzo Frohicky took the Dragon Core to meet up with the ninja in the Crossroads. Lloyd used the Cores to stabilize the MergeQuake Storm. Afterwards, Lloyd and Riyu took the Dragon Cores to the Source Dragon of Energy, and used them to allow the Source Dragon to be freed without destabilizing the Merged Realms.
