Plundar is a member of the Upply and an expert thief.
History[]
Background[]
Plundar, accompanied by Fungus and Korgran, embarked on the same mission that Vangelis had assigned them. Their objective was to retrieve an ancient artifact known as the Skull of Hazza D'ur from the Dungeons of Shintaro and deliver it to Vangelis for its ultimate destruction. Plunda's interest was piqued when he heard the word "loot," and he readily accepted the task.
Upon meeting Adam, the Lowly navigated through the perilous traps with relative ease, eventually stumbling upon the coveted skull. However, their triumph quickly turned to horror as Korgran made the ill-fated decision to touch the skull. Dark Magic briefly seeped through Korgran's body, causing Plundar and Fungus to watch in terror. Witnessing the immense power emanating from the skull, Plunda grew concerned about how they would safely transport it. Korgran ingeniously used his axe to carry the skull.
After successfully returning to the Kingdom of Shintaro, the Lowly were met with an unexpected turn of events. Vangelis, driven by his desire for power, revealed his alternate plans to the group. He tempted them with the promise of unimaginable power that the skull possessed to benefit the kingdom. However, the Lowly remained steadfast in their belief that the Skull of Hazza D'ur must be destroyed, recognizing the danger it posed. Unwilling to yield to their convictions, Vangelis resorted to banishing the Lowly to the desolate depths of Rock-Bottom.
Master of the Mountain[]
The Real Fall[]
Cole, Vania, and Wu found themselves at Rock-Bottom, where they crossed paths with Plundar and the rest of the Lowly. Sensing Cole's unease, Plundar quickly reassured him that Adam, who had unintentionally startled Cole, posed no threat. Plundar then proceeded to explain to Cole that there was no way to rescape, and that they would now have to make Rock-Bottom their new home.
Dungeon Party![]
Cole's throwing star was stolen by Plundar after he fainted. Plundar then decided to wake Cole up while he was having a nightmare. Confused and disoriented, Cole questioned his surroundings and the identities of the Lowly. Fungus stepped forward and introduced Plundar and the rest of the group. Fungus then politely requested that Plundar return Cole's throwing star, which he does with an apologetic expression. Cole realized that the Lowly might be just what they needed for their quest. However, the Lowly denied, with Plundar claiming to have his own tasks to attend to, such as finding loot to steal.
Cole was confused when the Lowly adamantly refused to offer any assistance. Plundar and the Lowly then proceeded to shed light on the series of events that had led them to their banishment. Plundar made it clear that their quest was anything but easy, emphasizing the challenges they had faced along the way. When they were about to finish explaining, Plundar decided to inject some excitement by fabricating a conversation between Vangelis and Hazza D'ur. Both Plundar and the Lowly expressed their deep anger towards Vangelis for his act of betrayal, leaving Cole to reassure the Lowly, Wu, and Vania that they would devise a plan to escape from Rock-Bottom and seek justice against Vangelis. Cole then decided to rename the Lowly as the "Upply." Plundar initially had reservations about the new name, but eventually agreed after rolling his dice.
Dungeon Crawl![]
Plundar's frustration grew as Cole searched for an exit, emphasizing that they had already traversed the tunnel countless times and if there was a way out, they would have undoubtedly discovered it by now. Fungus urged Plundar to adopt a fresh perspective and view their predicament differently. Plundar voiced his discontent with the physical discomfort he had been enduring, highlighting the hours they had spent on this endeavor and the resulting pain in his feet. Before long, Cole confirmed their arrival at yet another dead end. Plundar questioned the wisdom of following Cole's lead, perceiving it as a futile waste of time. He shared the Upply's disappointment as adventurers and asserted that they did not require a leader who would only lead them to further failure. In Cole's defense, Vania argued that he was not the cause of their failures but rather their means of escape. Plundar cynically inquired about the destination Cole was leading them towards, pointing out that they had ultimately returned to Rock-Bottom.
As Cole harnessed his Elemental Energy, Plundar and the others trailed behind him as they made their way out of Rock-Bottom. Upon Cole's subsequent use of his powers, they realized they needed to navigate the lava stream and venture into one of the tunnels ahead. Plundar's frustration grew as he contemplated the perilous task of traversing the lava, fully aware that there were alternative, safer routes they could have chosen. Reluctantly, he acknowledged that they had no other option but to venture through the tunnel on the opposite side of the lava. Cole empathized with him but stressed the necessity of proceeding in this manner. In contrast, Korgran, displaying his unwavering bravery, fearlessly proclaimed his lack of concern for the lava and even attempted to drink from it, only to be interrupted by Plundar's interjection. Cole pointed out that although it would be easier to turn back, they could not defeat Vangelis and rescue the ninja if they did not press forward. Plundar made it clear that they would be unable to stop Vangelis if they perished in the process. In response, Cole implored Plundar to choose between retreating or forging ahead. After rolling his dice, Plundar ultimately decided to brave the lava alongside his companions. Just as they were on the cusp of reaching their destination, Cole's intuition alerted him to an imminent danger, prompting him to warn the group. Plundar questioned why there would be any threat when they were so close to safety. Moments later, a Lava Monster arrived before them, catching them off guard. Swiftly, Plundar and the rest of the group skillfully evaded the monster's relentless onslaught, while simultaneously attempting to mount a counterattack in a desperate bid to fend it off. Cole instructed Plundar to find a way around the Lava Monster and use the large boulder on top to crush it. However, Plundar quickly realized that the task required Adam's skills. Plundar urgently implored Adam to take charge. Just as the Lava Monster was on the verge of crushing Plundar, Fungus intervened and managed to freeze the creature in its tracks. Adam forcefully pushed the massive boulder onto the Lava Monster, rendering it unconscious. Cole inquired if everyone was unharmed. Plundar, although shaken by the ordeal, mentioned that he had experienced better days. However, he was also grateful towards Adam for his heroic actions.
The team managed to proceed forward before the Lava Monster could return, prompting Plundar to stop Cole and acknowledge his previous misjudgment. Plundar recognized Cole's honesty and trustworthiness, thankful towards him. However, Cole advised Plundar to refrain from becoming too attached at this moment, as they still had a long and arduous journey ahead of them. Plundar concurred with Vania's optimism that the worst challenges were supposedly behind them.
Masters Never Quit[]
Plunder and the team swiftly fled from the pursuit of the Lava Monster. They stumbled upon a set of minecarts and without hesitation, they hopped on, hoping to put some distance between themselves and the creature. To their astonishment, the minecarts led them deep into the Heart of the Mountain. Wu began to enlighten them about the significance of the temple. Plunder couldn't help but inquire about the possibility of finding valuable loot within the temple. However, Wu gently corrected him, explaining that the temple housed the ancient teachings of the Spinjitzu Burst. Eager to explore further, Plunder attempted to open the entrance, but it was Cole, an Earth Elemental, who effortlessly accomplished the task. Upon inspecting the interior, the team stumbled upon the Stone Mech, which they believed to be responsible for the construction of the temple. Plundar decided to examine the functionality of the mech. To his surprise, the cockpit contained an array of crystals, unbeknownst to him that the crystals served as the controls. Alongside the crystals, he noticed the presence of armor and a mace. Cole received a recommendation from Vania that the Spinjitzu Burst had the potential to stop Vangelis. Plundar and the other members of the Lowly observed as Cole attempted but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. Suddenly, a tremor startled Plundar and the rest of the group. As Fungus his magical, Plundar was taken aback by the realization that the remaining ninja were being pursued by Grief-Bringer.
The Ascent[]
Plundar and the rest prepared themselves as Wu encouraged them to come up with a plan. Cole stepped forward, presenting his idea, which he admitted was a bit unconventional. He used his mace to draw tracks on the ground, representing the path they had discovered earlier that potentially led to the Kingdom of Shintaro. Cole proposed removing the wheels from the mine carts and attaching the axle to the Stone Mech, essentially turning it into rollerskates. The mech would propel the other carts back up the tracks. Cole demonstrated the concept by placing Fungus' mushroom on the ground, which swiftly followed the tracks he had drawn before soaring into the air and exploding. Korgran and Plundar were concerned about the explosive nature of Cole's plan, deeming it a bit risky. Vania chimed in, stating that unless they had alternative suggestions, they should consider Cole's plan rather than giving up. The team voiced their support for Cole's plan. While Plundar disregarded his dice and confidently decided to support Cole without any hesitation.
The minecart wheels were carefully placed into the Stone Mech by Plundar and the team while learning that the mech derived its power from the Elemental Powers. Unfortunately, as Cole grappled with controlling the mech, Plundar and the rest were almost crushed. However, once Cole gained control, Plundar, the rest of the Upply, and Wu swiftly boarded the minecarts, signaling the start of their upward journey. On their way, the team crossed paths with the Lava Monster once more. A chase ensued as the team desperately attempted to evade the pursuit of the creature while simultaneously fending off a swarm of Dire Bats. Cole vanquished the Lava Monster, rescuing Plundar and the rest of the team from a perilous fall into the lava below. However, the intense heat emanating from the lava-coated Stone Mech caused the controls to overheat, forcing the team to hastily escape the dungeons and make their way back to the Kingdom of Shintaro. Plundar and the Upply rejoiced with joy as they celebrated their long-awaited freedom from the Dungeons of Shintaro.
Plundar and the others entered the throne room, only to be met by the Army of Shintaro. The army, following Vangelis' false claims that the ninja were traitors, aimed to capture Cole. As Hailmar ignored Vania's pleas, a fierce battle erupted. Meanwhile, Chompy assumed his larger form, and Plundar, along with the rest of the Upply and Cole, hurried back to the Dungeons of Shintaro to rescue the ninja.
