PoulErik is a Keeper that serves as Mammatus' second-in-command and formerly as a Rumble Keeper.
History[]
Background[]
At some point in time, PoulErik started out as a Rumble Keeper and was trusted to protect the Storm Amulet along with the other Keepers.[1] Later on, PoulErik has worked his way up through the ranks of his tribe and became Mammatus' second-in-command.[2]
When the fake Wojira first emerged from the depths of the sea, PoulErik was the first to notice her and ran to inform the chief, who then went to the docks with him to see for himself. The following weeks he stood next to Mammatus in the docks whenever they sacrificed their treasures to the Sleeper in the Deep.[3]
The Island[]
The Gift of Jay[]
When the Keepers captured the ninja and decided that Jay will be sacrificed to Wojira, PoulErik was given the task of bringing food to the "Gift of Jay". While Jay sat on the throne in one of the houses in the village, PoulErik cordially offered him a meal whilst calling him the "Gift," telling him to relax.
The Tooth of Wojira[]
PoulErik was with the Keepers and was by Mammatus' side when he realized that Wojira was not real.
After The Island[]
When the ninja left the Island of the Keepers, PoulErik was bored and could not have fun with the other islanders.

The Storm Amulet[]
When he noticed that a large vehicle had emerged on the beach, he went to check with the guards. PoulErik greeted Jay and embraced him upon the ninja's arrivial, expressing how much they have missed him. They acknowledged that the the Island of the Keepers had become boring after he left. Momentarily, PoulErik clarified that his remark was not intended to cause any offense to the other Keepers in attendance, to which the Keepers expressed no objection. Subsequently, PoulErik took Jay and the others to Mammatus at the Keepers' Village. As the Chief made the decision to relinquish possession of the amulet to the ninja, PoulErik took it and presented it to Mammatus, who then passed it on to Nya.

PoulErik arrived with the other Keepers to Ninjago City to help the Resistance defeat the crystal army.
Personality[]
Although PoulErik has two heads and also two brains, his mind is obviously connected, as both heads can say the same thing at the same time. He seems to be very ambitious and diligent, as he has managed to develop from Rumble Keeper to second-in-command of the Chief. He is also proud to have two heads and believes that anyone who is born with two heads must be destined for higher things.
When he was given the task of taking care of the Gift of Jay and bringing him food, he was friendly to Jay and told him to enjoy it. Like the rest of the Keepers, he has great respect for Wojira and honors his duty. He also likes to have fun and is bored among other Keepers, so he was very pleased when Jay, whom he liked and befriended, returned to the island. He also does not want to provoke conflicts, because, as he told the other Keepers, he did not want to offend them by being bored with them.

- Storm: Like the other Keepers, PoulErik can create, generate, increase, absorb, conduct, shape, and manipulate electricity from his spear or the electrical storms from the storm belt, letting him redirect natural lightning in an electrical storm and use it to electrocute opponents.
- Combat: PoulErik also has some skill in combat, as he manage to take out and hold against Vengestone Guards.

- Keeper spear: Like all Keepers, PoulErik wields a spear that generates purple electricity.
Appearance[]
PoulErik has purple-pink radiant skin like the other Keepers, orange eyes and large yellow straw-like teeth. Unlike other Keepers he has two heads on top of each other. While the upper head has purple symbols, the lower one has white ones. Between the heads is a green scarf. His upper head is completely shaved except for a tall black ponytail tied to his hair in a green ribbon. As clothing, he wears simple straw clothing with aquamarine crystals.

This Keeper of the Amulet is Chief Mammatus's second-in-command. PoulErik has worked his way up through the ranks of his tribe and now stands head and shoulders (well, head) above his fellow islanders. With two mouths, he always has plenty - though he doesn't always agree with himself!

Behind the scenes[]
- He is the third Ninjago minifigure to have two heads, the first two being Fangtom and Fangdam.
- He is the first non-Serpentine with this distinction.
- Unlike the two, PoulErik's heads are on top of each other and not next to each other.
- PoulErik's heads are multiple LEGO pieces, whereas Fangtom and Fangdam's are both a single mold.
- While Fangtom is voiced by one voice actor who changes his voice, PoulErik is voiced by two different voice actors.
- This may be due to Fangtom gaining his second head when he accidentally bit himself and Fangdam gained it when he was bitten by Fang-Suei, while PoulErik was born with two heads.
- Because of this, PoulErik is the only character to have two heads throughout his life, from birth.
- This may be due to Fangtom gaining his second head when he accidentally bit himself and Fangdam gained it when he was bitten by Fang-Suei, while PoulErik was born with two heads.
- His name is a combination of the names "Poul" (an alternate spelling of Paul) and "Erik", probably referring to the fact that each head has a different name.
- If this is true, then "Poul" is the first head, voiced by Brian Drummond and "Erik" is the second head, voiced by Vincent Tong.
- He reuses the headpieces of the Rumble Keepers and the Thunder Keepers.
- Poul-Erik is a real Danish name, which is appropriate as Denmark is the place of origin of LEGO.
- He is one of the seven Ninjago characters to have the ponytail hairpiece, the other six being Nadakhan, Ultra Violet, Daddy No Legs, Richie, Murt, and Moe.
- He is also the first ponytailed character since Daddy No Legs to use the bandana LEGO piece that the ninja use in some of their suits.
- He is also the third character to have a "hollow stud" (LEGO part 28626) of a color other than black, namely green. The first two characters are Murt and Moe, who have brown ones.
