These are the relationships of Pythor.
Allies[]
Skales (formerly)[]

Pythor and Skales
Skales was Pythor's second-in-command.
After Pythor released the Constrictai and Venomari, Skales came in contact with Pythor and helped him to bring the Serpentine tribes together. Skales assisted Pythor in his quest to obtain the Fangblades and unleash the Great Devourer, although he does express some concerns for the plan in the beginning, saying that Pythor was chasing children's stories. Nevertheless, Skales remained loyal to him for quite some time and often fought by his side, advised, or protected him against the ninja. This loyalty was short-lived however, as after Pythor's presumed death at the hands of the Devourer, Skales realized the depth of his actions and fled alongside his fellow Serpentine, hiding out in the Fangpyre Tomb.

Years later, Skales wasn't very happy to see Pythor's return a day after the Yin-Yang Eclipse thinking that he was connected to Anacondrai War. After Pythor's failed attempt to show the BorgWatch technology, Skales told him that his desperation has overstepped all boundaries and even made him look ridiculous.
The Overlord[]

Pythor and the Overlord
Pythor allied himself with The Overlord to get vengeance on the ninja for letting the Great Devourer eat him. The Overlord was shocked at Pythor restoring him, though he gained a liking for Pythor after he saw how vile and cunning he was and both worked to capture Lloyd.

Pythor with the Golden Master
During the Nindroid crisis, Pythor shielded the Overlord from the ninja's attack and ended up being shrunk.

Pythor and the rest of the council with the Crystal King
Years later, Pythor joined the Crystal Council, a group working for the Overlord. Pythor was once again a loyal servant to his master, although he was nearly killed by the Overlord along with the other members of the council for not finding the ninja's hideout.
Cryptor[]

Cryptor was one of Pythor's allies. As Pythor was advisor to the Overlord and Cryptor was the general of the Overlord's nindroids, they were often seen together and worked well. However, this was not always the case because Cryptor did threaten Pythor if he lied about their master and Pythor intimidated him with the threat of reprogramming should he step out of line.
On the Day of the Departed Pythor happily greets his old friend after Cryptor's revival, showing no ill will towards him. In return, Cryptor didn't show much emotion to Pythor but wasn't hostile to him.
Aspheera[]
“Revenge, revenge.”
“What?”
“What what?”
“What did you say?”
“I don't know. What did I say?”

Aspheera talking with Pythor
Aspheera is a new ally of Pythor during the events of Crystalized, although the two didn't get along well.
During the council's meeting, when Aspheera announced the the time for revenge was near, Pythor mocked her by parroting her line "Revenge, Revenge." When Aspheera asked the Anacondrai what he had said, Pythor just played it dumb, further insulting her.
During the monastery siege, Aspheera started shouting for revenge, to which Pythor responded by shaking his head in annoyance.
While Aspheera was making the ritual to revive the Overlord, Pythor was mimicking her.
Enemies[]
Ninja (temporary allies)[]

Pythor with the ninja in Kryptarium Prison
The ninja are Pythor's archenemies. After being released from the tomb by Lloyd, Pythor and the boy were attacked by the ninja, who immediately began to hate each other. Over the following time, the ninja constantly tried to thwart Pythor's plans, which they always succeeded in, defeating every army he allied with. The only time Pythor was willing to help the ninja was during the Second Serpentine War, but only because of fear of Chen.
Lloyd[]

Pythor and Lloyd
Pythor manipulated Lloyd to get his hands on the map to the Serpentine tombs and wasted no time in betraying after his usefulness ran out.
Pythor later allied himself with the Overlord to get vengeance on Lloyd for letting the Great Devourer eat him but it resulted in him being shrunk and imprisoned in Kryptarium Prison.
During the Second Serpentine War, Pythor wasn't pleased to see Lloyd again but had no choice but to help the ninja. Lloyd even protected Pythor from Chen's forces who were coming to claim him. In the final battle, they met again and Pythor gave the ninja a spell that would banish Chen and his followers to the Cursed Realm. By doing this, Pythor became a temporary ally to the ninja, despite the spell banishing Lloyd's father, Garmadon too.
They do not see each other for several seasons but were mostly on neutral terms.
On the Day of the Departed, Pythor fell back into his evil ways and decided to use the events of the day to destroy Lloyd since he defeated his father. They fought and Pythor use underhanded moves such as holding Lloyd's mother hostage but Lloyd and his mother broke free and Pythor disappeared into the night.

Pythor fighting Lloyd
Shortly before the Crystal Infection, Pythor met Lloyd again and tried to fight him.
Jay[]
Jay facing Pythor
Jay and Pythor have not interacted much when the latter was released from his tomb, but they did oppose each other as Jay fought with his team against the Serpentine.
Sometime during these events, Jay halted Pythor and some Venomari soldiers in his heist of hijacking noodle trucks.
In "Once Bitten, Twice Shy," when a Serpentine-transformed Jay was trying to find Nya at Mega Monster Amusement Park, he found Pythor and the Serpentine and tried to engage in battle, but Pythor and the others mocked him for his tail, before sending Nya off on the rollercoaster.
During the Nindroid crisis, Jay and the others soon became aware that Pythor had resurfaced and led the Nindroids to bring the Overlord back into Ninjago.
Jay and the other ninja visited a miniaturized Pythor at Kryptarium for help on how to defeat Chen and his army that were transformed into Anacondrai.
Years later, during the final conflict, Jay and the other ninja unlocked their Dragon Forms and fought their respective members of the Crystal Council. Pythor was paired against Jay after the latter restrained him from attacking Kai. Jay used a Lightning quake to force Pythor to drop his invisibility and knocking him out, allowing Jay to take back his Nunchucks of Lightning from the former Serpentine King.
Chen[]
“Oh, right, honor. Like you said, we aren't real Anacondrai. No, we are not. No, no, no.”

Pythor and Chen
Because of Chen and his followers turning themselves into Anacondrai, Pythor grew dislike at their audacity to masquerading as his proud race.
Pythor's disgust for them increased after he learned Chen caused the Serpentine War by lying to both sides. After Chen's warriors captured him, Pythor insulted them by calling them frauds, as they had him chased by a Swamp Rat to sweat out essence for them to maintain their form. Pythor was not pleased when a mocking Chen left him to his fate of nearly being devoured by a swamp rat.
As revenge, Pythor tamed the rat and gave the ninja a spell that could defeat the impostors. He watched gleefully as they were banished to the Cursed Realm.
During "Day of the Departed," Chen and Pythor met again with neither being pleased to see the other and giving a tense acknowledgment. Despite that, they were united in wanting vengeance on the ninja.
New Ninja[]
Although they did not meet many times, the New Ninja were the ones who arrested Pythor and placed him in Kryptarium Prison after the Great Flood. Nevertheless, Pythor praised them before the ninja and said that they were much better, although it was mainly intended to provoke the original ninja and probably did not express his true view of the New Ninja.
Skylor[]
- “Skylor? You’re the one with the ability to-”
- “Yep.”
- “Impressive. But even your powers will be negated by my vengestone soldiers.”
— Pythor and Skylor, "Safe Haven" |
In "Safe Haven," when Pythor attempted to attack Kai and Cole, Skylor appeared, whom Pythor recognized and realized that she had the ability to absorb Elemental Powers. As Pythor was horrified by this realization, Skylor absorbed Kai's Fire and Cole's Earth and blasted them together at Pythor, who tried to cover them with nunchucks. The Anacondrai then admitted that it was impressive, but that even her powers would not hold up against his Vengestone soldiers. Skylor, however, used the power of Earth to raise a stone wall in the alley.
