- Rivett's minifigure sports the same armor style as Commander Raggmunk over her torso, which has the same printing as Tannin's.
- Her name is based on the word, "rivet," a short, metal bolt or pin to hold things together.
- She is one of the only six known female Serpentine, the other four being Selma, Machia, Aspheera, Mikloshe, and SsssSsss Underwood. Unlike the others, however, she was only confirmed to be female in the Visual Dictionary New Edition and the Character Encyclopedia New Edition.
- She does not appear in the show, as in the show the army is entirely made of Slackjaw and Tannin. However, along with Vermin, they appear in Ninjago Magazine comics as a generic warriors, likely meaning they could be considered canon to the show.
- This makes them similar to the Thunder Keepers, Vengestone Warriors and Claw Generals.
