Rock, Paper, Clamp (also known as Rock, Paper, Scissors) is a hand game in Ninjago. The ninja occasionally use it to decide who has to do a task.
History[]
The Stone Army[]
The ninja use it to decide who gets to clean up the Ultra Dragon's mess. They later use it to decide who gets to be bait for the Giant Stone Warrior. Lloyd sets up a trap by covering the bottomless pit with paper, and before the Stone Warrior falls into it, Lloyd shouts, "Hey, loser! Paper beats rock!"
Day of the Departed[]
Samukai suggests that he and Kozu use the game to decide who goes after Jay.
The Belly of the Beast[]
The ninja use it to decide who goes into Beohernie's stomach to retrieve the Thermolytic Inverter.
Trivia[]
- It is a parody of rock, paper, scissors. The rules are the same, except that clamp replaces scissors.
- Based on the matchups, the game is played like so: a rock is a closed hand, paper is an opened hand and clamp is similar to rock but the hand is turned sideways.
- The game is also known as "Rock, Paper, Scissors," as it was referred to by Samukai as such in "Day of the Departed".
