Quest for the Lost Powers[]
Following the Final prophecy of Quanish the Elder, Cole discovered this farm after embarking on a journey of self discovery. The former Elemental Master of Earth believed that he could further connect with his former element by working upon the earth itself, and so agreed to stay at the farm to help out. During his time there, Cole learned of the farmers' plight with their greedy neighbor, Takanagi, who had repeatedly attempted to buy up the land and was now resorting to violence to get what he wanted.
One day, Lou arrived at the farm to visit his son after receiving a letter from him detailing his whereabouts and activities. Although he was confused by his son's career choice, Lou chose to support his son's decisions and decided to stay at the farm a bit longer to be with him. That night, Takanagi's goons attacked the farm yet again, and Cole bravely stepped forward to defend the farm as he had been doing for some time. Unfortunately, since he no longer had the power to control the ground, Cole's abilities to defeat a squadron of heavily modified and armored tractors was rather limited, managing only to defeat a few but failing to stop the goons from completing their mission in vandalizing the farm's crops.
For the entirety of the next day's light hours, and for part of the evening as well, Cole taught the farmers how to defend their homes and assisted in preparing traps for Takanagi's next attack. When night fell, Takanagi himself led a renewed assault on the farm, declaring that tonight he would finally take what "rightfully" belonged to him. The battle that followed was fierce, with Takanagi's tractor squadrons being disabled by the farm's newly established traps and his goons driven off by the farmers' ferocity. Takanagi himself attempted to raze down the farm in his personal modified harvester, but was ultimately defeated by Cole once the latter rediscovered his powers and commanded the earth to repeatedly strike Takanagi's harvester from below until he was flung far beyond the horizon.
Cole and his father then spent a few more days helping out on the farm to repair the damages inflicted upon it by Takanagi's attacks. When the day finally came for father and son to leave, they said goodbye to Sally-Bob and left to go their separate ways.
