William "Scott" Godon-Decoteau (September 20, 1977 - October 10, 2018)[1] was an American director and a former Associate Creative Director at LEGO.[2] He helped develop the story for Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu's sixth season, "Day of the Departed," and seventh season. He was considered a "driving force" for these three projects.[3]
Godon-Decoteau passed away in an accident on October 10, 2018 in Denmark. He is survived by his wife Danielle Godon-Decoteau, his son Oliver, brother and parents. He was buried at the Sampson Chapel of The Acres.[1] The tenth season was dedicated to him.
