“I've heard it's incredible! It's the most beautiful city in the world. And the people have wings. Haha! You can't beat wings.”
Jay, "Shintaro"

Shintaro wings[2] are a pair of wings that are used by the Sky Folk. When Vangelis disguised himself as the Skull Sorcerer, his wings appeared bat-like.

History[]

Shintaro[]

The Army of Shintaro used their wings to carry the Destiny's Bounty to the Kingdom of Shintaro.

Into the Dark[]

The Winged Guards of Shintaro, Hailmar, Vangelis, and Vania were all seen with their wings when they introduced the ninja.

Later in the Mines of Shintaro, the Skull Sorcerer is seen having black wings.

The Worst Rescue Ever[]

Vangelis and the Skull Sorcerer are both seen with their wings.

The Two Blades[]

When the Winged Guards of Shintaro check Vania, they are using their wings.

In the Dungeons of Shintaro, the Skull Sorcerer has his black wings when he caught Cole and Lloyd entering the Skull Keep while they were looking for the Blades of Deliverance.

The Skull Sorcerer[]

Vangelis revealed himself to be the Skull Sorcerer and his golden wings turn to black. When Cole and Wu fell down into the pit, Vania grabbed a pair of Shintaro Wings and dived into the pit.

The Real Fall[]

Vania attempted to use the wings to save Cole and Wu, but the wings broke and all three kept falling.

Grief-Bringer[]

After learning that the ninja were planning to form a truce meeting for the Munce and Geckles, Vangelis uses the Skull of Hazza D'ur to transform into the Skull Sorcerer, turning his wings black.

The Darkest Hour[]

The Skull Sorcerer once again had his wings when he confronted the Geckles, Munce, and the ninja.

The Ascent[]

When the Winged Guards of Shintaro stormed the throne room to confront Cole, Vania, Wu, and the Upply, they wear their wings.

The Upply Strike Back![]

The Skull Sorcerer has his wings when he taunts the ninja and is forced to battle Cole.

The Son of Lilly[]

Multiple Sky Folk, including the Winged Guards of Shintaro, Vania, and Vangelis have their wings.

The Council of the Crystal King[]

Vangelis had new Shintaro wings after escaping from his cell. According to the Kabuki Mask, Vangelis had her to thank for them.

The Coming of the King[]

After the Crystal King arrived, he bestowed Vangelis and his other generals with power. Vangelis's wings were altered to resemble his wings as the Skull Sorcerer.
