The cabin is the home of Sorla in the Great Lake.
History[]
Corruption (flashback)[]
Sorla's cabin froze over when the Ice Emperor overthrew Grimfax and ascended to the throne, marking the start of the Eternal Winter.
The Never-Realm[]
After arriving in the Never-Realm in search of their missing friend, the ninja were rescued from a pack of Frost Wolves by three Ice Fishers and brought to their village on the Great Lake. The fishers brought the ninja to Sorla's cabin, where they met Sorla and learned that Zane was located in the Ice Emperor's Castle of Ice.
Fire Maker[]
Lloyd and Sorla stood inside the cabin to discuss the journey to the Castle of Ice. Shortly afterwards, when the village learned of the approach of the Blizzard Samurai, the village elders, the ninja, and several other villagers gathered in Sorla's cabin to discuss their next courses of action.
During the battle, Grimfax smashed through the roof of the cabin and extinguished the Hearth Fire, though it would later be restarted by Kai.
An Unlikely Ally[]
The ninja assisted the Ice Fishers in making repairs to their village following the previous night's attack. As they worked, the ninja repaired the roof to Sorla's cabin and continued to work around the area.
The Message[]
Cole told several kids the story of how he and the ninja wound up in the Never-Realm inside of Sorla's cabin. At the conclusion of his story, however, the children ran out of the cabin screaming, prompting Cole to apologetically chase after them.
The Traveler's Tree[]
In the morning hours, Nya stood inside Sorla's cabin to practice her control over ice under the mentorship of the latter. As she practiced, Cole burst into the cabin and broke her focus, causing a dejected Cole to label the moment as "yet another Cole mistake."
My Enemy, My Friend[]
Boreal made several passes around Sorla's cabin during his attack on the Ice Fishers' village.
Awakenings[]
Following the restoration of the Ice Emperor and the defeat of Vex, peace returned to the Never-Realm. After assisting in rebuilding the village, the ninja made their way to Sorla's cabin several days later to return home to Ninjago. With the help of the Traveler's Tea leaves and berries, Sorla was able to open the portal to Ninjago, allowing the ninja to finally return home.
