Source Dragon of Focus | Focus |
The Source Dragon of Focus is one of the seven Source Dragons. Hence her name, she represents the Focus, serving as the foundation for all the Elemental Powers related to her source.
History[]
Background[]
The Source Dragon of Focus was among the seven Source Dragons that helped maintain balance across the realms. Each Source Dragon represented a unique source,[4] with the Source Dragon of Focus specifically embodying focus.
The First Spinjitzu Master came to the Source Dragons and implored them to contribute their dragon power. This request was made in order to create the Dragon Cores, which were meant to prevent the Coalescence,[5] an imminent event where all the realms would merge into a single world, a consequence brought about by the Source Dragon energy.[6] As the Source Dragons deliberated on whether to support the First Spinjitzu Master, a division emerged among them, particularly with the Source Dragon of Focus standing in opposition. However, the Source Dragon of Balance cast the pivotal vote. compelling the Source Dragons to giving their energy to the First Spinjitzu Master, enabling him to create the Dragon Cores.[7]
Beyond the Phantasm Cave[]
When Lloyd sought help from the Source Dragons to find a way how to counter Shatterspin, they all summoned him to their place, there they discussed what to do, and agreed to help him after the Source Dragon of Energy begged them to aid him, like he aid him back in Imperium. The Source Dragon of Focus seemed to be fine with their decision, showing no signs of objection when the Source Dragon of Motion gave Lloyd a vision.
Casket of Bones[]
Upon discovering Thunderfang's intention to ascend as a Source Dragon, the Source Dragons convened to deliberate on whether they should take action. The discussion became contentious, with the Source Dragons divided on the issue of aiding mortals. The Source Dragon of Motion argued that summoning the Arc Dragon of Focus was essential to finally vanquish Thunderfang. However, the Source Dragon of Focus firmly rejected this idea, stating her unwillingness to assist this time around. The Source Dragon of Energy interjected, suggesting that the Source Dragon of Focus shall support if there is enough backing, just as she had done previously. Yet, the Source Dragon of Focus regretted over past involvement with mortals, emphasizing that it had only led to suffering and peril for the council. She proposed that they should consider withdrawing their influence entirely. The Source Dragon of Motion countered, asserting that it was too late for such a retreat, as Thunderfang possessed more power than they realized and could potentially infiltrate their council, wreaking havoc. Despite this warning, the Source Dragon of Focus remained unconvinced. The Source Dragon of Motion reminded her that mortals could summon the Arc Dragon of Focus. At that moment, the Source Dragon of Strength suddenly realized that Lloyd had been eavesdropping on their conversation, leading to a swift expulsion from his vision.
Personality[]
The Source Dragon of Focus is a cautious and principled being, shaped by a deep sense of regret over her past involvement with mortals. Once willing to intervene, she advocated for complete withdrawal from mortal affairs, believing that such actions have only brought suffering and peril to the council of Source Dragons. She also seems to be stubborn and slightly nihilistic, as despite pressure from her peers—particularly the assertive Source Dragon of Motion and Energy—she remains firm in her stance, unwilling to be swayed by urgency or sentiment, despite knowing Thunderfang will kill them all.
