“I'm sorry. I know that spiders aren't really evil and they also need to eat... but I can't be your snack today!”

Spiders are arachnid arthropods that live in the Merged Realms.

History[]

Pilot episodes[]

After journeying to the Underworld in search of Wu and in pursuit of the Golden Weapons, the Ninja unwittingly found themselves clinging to the legs of several Spykor as they observed the Skulkin's operations below them. Jay however noticed the immediate danger he and his teammates were in and attempted to warn them, though due to a throat injury he had sustained earlier, he was unable to do so, leaving his teammates to make the horrifying discovery themselves.

Moments later, as the Ninja prepared to battle against the Skulkin, multiple Spykor descended onto the battlefield to reinforce the Skulkin. These Spykor would be sucked into the Tornado of Creation and were possibly integrated into the Bone Ferris Wheel created by the tornado, as they were not seen riding it or anywhere else afterwards.

Skybound[]

In an effort to defeat Nadakhan, Jay, Cole, Zane, and Nya set sail to Tiger Widow Island in search of one of the titular spiders. After encountering one, Jay was able to harvest the spider's venom, though the spider continued to pursue the Ninja until it was thrown down a chasm.

Later, Dogshank encountered the Tiger Widow when she inadvertently fell through a portal and was transported to the island. Although the spider prepared to attack her, she easily scared it off with a simple, "Boo!" much to her dismay as she called out after the spider and called it a 'chicken' for running.

Master of the Mountain[]

During the ninja's visit to Shintaro Mountain, Cole had several encounters with the mountain's resident Giant spiders. Unfortunately, most of these encounters proved to be hostile, with the giant arachnids attempting to eat Cole or his friends. One giant spider, Adam, however proved to be a gentle giant, serving as a member of the Lowly - a group of failed adventurers imprisoned in Rock-Bottom. Adam would go on to assist Cole in escaping from Rock-Bottom as well as to fight against the Skull Sorcerer and his hordes of Re-Awakened.

Crystalized[]

Crystal Spiders were utilized by the Kabuki Mask in her preparations for the coming of the Crystal King. These mechanized spiders were utilized to deliver items and recruit various enemies of the Ninja to form the Council of the Crystal King. Later, an army of crystal spiders were deployed to back-up the newly formed Council as they raided the Monastery of Spinjitzu for the powerless Golden Weapons, turning the tide before self-destructing in an effort to kill the Monastery's defenders and deliver a message to the imprisoned ninja.

Later, Adam faced off the Crystal Army along with the other Shintarians.

Wyldfyre: Return to the Wyldness[]

During her retreat to the Wyldness after the Ritual of the Blood Moon, Wyldfyre encountered Fire spiders inside of a cave as she sought to return three baby dragons to their parents. Aiming to dive out the arachnids, Wyldfyre first started by hurling a fireball at them and their web, but recalling seconds later that she had forgotten that fire spiders were fireproof. Thinking of an alternative solution, Wyldfyre created a makeshift sling using a nearby vine and catapulted the baby dragons into the Fire Spiders' web, tearing it apart and scattering the arachnids.
