Spinner Crowns are spinner components used in the Ninjago Spinners game. A crown balances the Spinner, increasing its spinning time. Additionally, there are several Battle Cards that can only be played when the player has a crown on their Spinner. Spinner crowns are placed on top of a spinner. Each player must have their Spinner equipped with a crown before spinning; otherwise, they will have to use a special card to attach the crown between rounds.
Most 2012 Spinner sets come with a unique crown, but more generic crowns appear in a few sets. Most of these crowns are incorporated into a wheel, such as in Cole's Tread Assault, but one is also used for the Samurai Mech's chest-plate. Secondary/background characters such as various Serpentine have more generic crowns.
