|“Are you nuts? You want those things to know we're here?”|
“Uh, what things?”
“The monsters in the jungle! They look like statues, but it's a trick! They're alive!”
|— Twitchy Tim and Kai in "Uncharted"|
Pretending to be a statue, the Stone Golems laid dormant until Misako's explorer group found them. They attacked and defeated the explorer group.
After Nya poked the first Stone Golem with a stick, they attacked. The ninja realized that they were able to absorb and release Elemental Powers, so they were unable to defeat them. While the first five ninja ran, Lloyd lured them away and hid in a cave.
Powers and abilities
They are able to stay still enough to resemble a statue, and are able to separate with each other. The third Stone Golem is able to spin its hands fast enough to hover a little and become a spinning blade. They are able to absorb and release elemental powers back at the elemental master with the same power.
When they are attacking, they are able to merge on top of each other to generate dark clouds and lightning storms, and the top Golem absorbs electricity, allowing them to release electric bolts.
As well as dragons and Keepers, the island is also home to living stone statues known as the Stone Golems. Created by the First Spinjitzu Master to help protect the Storm Amulet, these rock-hard guards cannot be stopped by elemental powers!
- Their eyes are similar to Aspheera's.
- When the Stone Golems are stacked on top of each other, they resemble a totem pole.
- It is heavily implied that the three Golems are brothers, as seen in the Character Encyclopedia New Edition and by Kai and Jay in "The Keepers of the Amulet" and "The Gift of Jay" respectively.
- In the show, the Stone Golems are slightly rearranged, as the third Golem was mostly seen on top of the second Golem in "The Keepers of the Amulet," while it's only underneath it in the sets and "Uncharted."
