The tentacled beasts[2] are creatures from the Land of Monsters[1] that had attacked the Cloud Kingdom during a MergeQuake in the latter realm.

Writers of Destiny[]
A tentacled beast was emerging from a MergeQuake as the Land of Monsters was about to merge with the Cloud Kingdom, attacking Marcus and Euphrasia. Some Ice Dragons try to attack the tentacled beast, but were immediately knocked out. Kai and Nya escorted Marcus and Euphrasia before proceeding to attack it with their Elemental Powers, but to no avail. Sora activated her SA Mark 01 to ward off the beast, and Arin tried to use Spinjitzu, but was caught in one of the beast's tentacles. Lloyd tried to use Energy to close the MergeQuake underneath the beast. Sora ended up getting launched by the beast's tentacles in her mech, and as she tried to tell of the Writers of Destiny to flee, her mech was caught in its tentacle. Nya told Lloyd to not close off the MergeQuake just yet, and instead, she and Kai used Spinjitzu to hit the beast's eye multiple times. Lloyd proceeded to close the MergeQuake again, freeing Arin and Sora from the beast's tentacles, and having been saved from their fall thanks to Euphrasia secretly using Wind. Kai and Nya attacked the beast more, allowing Lloyd to successfully push the beast back into the MergeQuake and closing it.
Much later on, however, a MergeQuake unleashes another tentacled beast, spotted by Arin and Sora. The former left to get Lloyd, Kai and Nya for help, while the latter rushed to repair the SA Mark 01. At the same time, Suetonius ordered the Writers of Destiny to get writing, while Euphrasia tried to fight off the beast, as another suddenly emerged as well, much to the Writers of Destiny's surprise that she's an Elemental Master of Wind. Sora joined the fight in her powered-up mech, and later, Lloyd, Arin, Kai, and Nya joined the fight. The six all work together to lure the beasts closer to the MergeQuake, and then Lloyd, Kai, Nya, and Euphrasia used their elemental powers to close the MergeQuake, and thus, all of the tentacled beasts disappear in the process.

- The tentacled beasts slightly resemble Doom's Eye from the video game Shadow the Hedgehog.
- Although, they have five tentacles, instead of six.
- They also resemble the Doctor Strange villain Shuma-Gorath.
- According to Chris "Doc" Wyatt, the tentacled beasts weren't named.[3]
