Plot[]
The four original ninja are still trapped within the BRTM-12 in the N line. They try to figure a way out, but their attempts only lead to the roof beginning to cave in on them, so they attempt to contact Wu, Nya, P.I.X.A.L., and Skylor, but with no luck. Zane then proceeds to attempt amplifying Kai's communicator, in hope that then they'll be able to reach them.
Soon afterwards, the Council of the Crystal King arrive at the hangar bay to take the Golden Weapons, to which Wu replies that they should take them - if they could. To which, a fight breaks between Wu and the others, and the Crystal Council.
As they fight, Skylor, P.I.X.A.L., and Nya are later overwhelmed, until Wu is the only one left, and is able to hold off Aspheera, Vangelis and The Mechanic for a while. Just before they can gain access to the weapons, P.I.X.A.L. summons multiple MiniPix to attack them. While the effects are efficient, tons of Crystal Spiders soon appear and shoot down the MiniPix. As they do so, Aspheera tells Nya that Harumi sends her regards, surprising her before she and the others are defeated. With all of them out of the way, the four villains were able to steal the de-powered Golden Weapons, and the Crystal Spiders are implanted as bombs. One MiniPix manages to reassemble itself and save P.I.X.A.L., Wu, and Skylor, but was unable to find Nya. When Nya wakes up - shortly before the Crystal Spiders blow up - she hurries to her [[Samurai X Mech, protecting herself from the explosion of the monastery.
The others grieve over Nya's apparent demise, until she breaks through the ruins in the Samurai X Mech, which had also been damaged. They soon receive a signal from Zane, who requests for their help before the roof caves in even more, but they manage find an escape hatch and go through it, securing them for a little while. Nya heads off to save them, and Wu wishes her good luck.

Trivia[]
- Narrator: Wu
- Wu putting his hat back on after fighting without it is a reference to his battle against Garmadon in The LEGO Ninjago Movie.
- The soundtrack that plays when Wu, Skylor and P.I.X.A.L. believed that Nya did not make it out of the burning Monastery is the same one that plays during Cole's fall from the Destiny's Bounty in "The Fall."

The script of this scene
- On October 2, 2021, Tommy Andreasen revealed a part of the script of Wu fighting for this episode saying it is "easily one of the most complex fight scenes in the history of the #Ninjago show." Later he added, "When I first read it 7 or 8 months ago, it sent shivers down my spine. There isn't much to go on but it invokes the right feeling and shows great trust in whoever will make the words come alive … and this is the collaboration and the magic which manifests Ninjago.[2]
Continuity[]
- Cole saying that he's "been deeper" is an indirect reference to his time at Rock-Bottom during Master of the Mountain.
- Aspheera learned about the emergency escape elevator from Lloyd in "A Painful Promise," when he showed it to her so she could escape.
- Aspheera calls Wu "Wu-ser", (a combination of Wu's name and "loser"), a name she came up for him from "A Painful Promise."
- Pythor once again expresses annoyance for Aspheera's desire for revenge since "The Council of the Crystal King."
- It is revealed that the MiniPix are what have been helping P.I.X.A.L. make vehicles for the last few years.
- Prior to this, Nya had believed P.I.X.A.L. was making them on her own.
- This episode marks:
- The first time Cole uses his advanced Earth powers since "The Son of Lilly."
- The first time Aspheera uses Spinjitzu since "Vengeance is Mine!". It is also the first time her purple Spinjitzu is seen since the flashback in "Never Trust a Human."
- The first time Wu was shown with his skullcap on since "The Real Fall."
- The second time the Monastery of Spinjitzu is destroyed, the first being "Home."
- Coincidentally, both times it was destroyed, Hypnobrai have been involved.
- The first time since "The Void" that the Golden Weapons have been stolen from the protagonists.
- Aspheera saying "I win" to Wu after the Crystal Spiders come is a reference to their series of contests from "A Painful Promise" when she said this multiple times.
- Wu telling Nya, "Good luck" as she leaves to save the ninja in her Samurai X Mech is similar to when Nyad wishes Nya the same regards when she leaves the Endless Sea in order to drain her powers in "The Call of Home." Coincidentally, both instances are the last line of their respective episodes.
- The episode shares some similarities with "The Fall."
- The word "Fall" is a part of the episode title.
- A protagonist (Cole in "The Fall" and Nya in this episode) is mistakenly believed to be dead, while another protagonist (Kai in "The Fall" and Wu in this episode) tries to go back and save said person, being talked out by the others (Zane in "The Fall", Skylor and P.I.X.A.L. in this episode) that it's too late.
Errors[]
- When Pythor grabs Nya with his tail, Nya's armor is missing.
- When Nya bangs on the hangar bay door, her face rig can be seen in the reflection but isn't animated.
- For a split second when the MiniPix arrive, Aspheera can be seen with her original staff instead of her new one.
