Plot[]
In a flashback, the Forbidden Five continued to lay waste to the Wyldness. Nokt had just come back from the South, where the inhabitants there had no choice but to bow to the Wolf Clan or face annihilation, all while Nokt unleashed destruction with Shatterspin. He brought along Zarkar to the Forbidden Five at the Shadow Dojo, planning to claim him as a trophy. Nokt insisted that Zarkar recount the tales of the Forbidden Five's reputation. Overwhelmed with grief, Zarkar asked why they would kill his people. The Forbidden Five dismissed his concerns with laughter, and Nokt's sister, Rox, proclaimed that their brutal actions were merely a show of power, warning that soon all realms would experience the same fate as the Wyldness. Just then, the Dragon Masters arrived, managing to defeat the Forbidden Five.
In the present, Nokt watched Ras as he practiced, emphasizing to Rox, who is still in Jordana's body, the importance of eliminating Ras. Rox reassured him, saying it was only a matter of time before they would finish off Ras, just like they had done with his forebears, and asserted that the Forbidden Five would continue their mission of destruction.
Elsewhere, Bleckt is walking along Foundation Street when Wyldfyre saves him from a falling brick. Bleckt thanks Wyldfyre for saving him and she gives him his ledger back that he had dropped in the process. Once she gets away from Bleckt, Wyldfyre, remarking how her brick trick worked, gets out a book, which is actually the real ledger, but is confused by the language used to write the book.
Outside the Monastery of Gates, Arin and Cole wonder if Wu's ghost is real. The ghost enters the Monastery of Gates, and Arin and Cole follow him. Inside the Monastery, they come across 16 gateways leading to every realm. Then, Wu's ghost appears before them again. Cole asks if the ghost is Master Wu, and the ghost confirms it. Cole inquires what happened to him after the Merge and whether he's still alive and Arin asks of his sudden appearance. The ghost doesn't respond but points to a crown made of dragon horns on the ceiling, to both Arin and Cole’s shock, were the dragon horns of the murdered Arc Dragons. Before the ghost left, Arin asks if what Ras told him — Wu being the cause of the Merge — was true. Cole says it's impossible and claims Ras is a liar, but Arin insists on asking the ghost, and the ghost answers "yes" before suddenly disappearing and passing through one of the 16 realm gates. This shocked both Arin and Cole, and although Cole refused to believe it, Arin, due to Ras’ deception and his now-crumbled fate in the ninja, did.
In the Games Plaza, Sora tries to use the Elemental Power of Smoke, but fails to do so. Sora laments her inability to use her new powers the same way the competitors who originally had them did, but Lloyd recommends Sora gives up the idea of mimicking others and tries being herself. Sora sees Jordana and the former apologizes for not remembering the latter. Jordana calls her pathetic and walks away. Elsewhere, Wyldfyre, still unable to read Bleckt's ledger, throws it on the ground in a fit of rage and Zur picks it up. He tells her the book is written in the Devonian language. Wyldfyre says she had expected Zur's voice to sound evil. He responds saying his kind is shy and people often judge them based on their appearance. Zur offers to help Wyldfyre translate the book.
Roby announces the final match. Sora faces off against Nokt. The battle begins. Sora makes the first move and actually tries to do Spinjitzu for the first time. She is able to perform a rudimentary version of it, as Arin had prior, but she soon finds herself on the ground. Nokt acknowledges Sora’s advancement in the tournament, but assures her she’s never faced anyone like him before. Sora compares her difficulties of her past life in Imperium and her parents to her and Nokt’s battle. Nokt casually yawns and asks if her sob story was over before hammering the ground and then suddenly begins Shatterspin. Although Roby fears that the match has ended before it got started, Sora blocks the attack with Zane’s Ice power, to which Nokt mocks over. Then Sora uses Frak's Quake power on ice spikes she raised from the ground to the air, followed by applying Zur's Reflex power, confusing Zane and Lloyd, but Lloyd lampshades his earlier words to Sora, about one using Elemental Powers in a way no one’s ever done before. This is proven successful as Sora created a strong barrier against Shatterspin, successfully pushing back Nokt to a screen monitor, leaving Roby and the audience in shock. Annoyed by Ras’ refusal of him giving up, Nokt gets back up and continues the fight fiercely, with both he and Sora using Elemental Powers respectively.
As the fight goes on, Arin approaches Lloyd and tells him that he and Cole had found the dragon horns, due to Jordana giving them the message leading to them. When Lloyd asks if Ras was behind the commotion, Arin recalls that he and Wyldfyre knew he was meeting with Bleckt, but was still unsure about Ras’ intentions with the horns. Lloyd reveals that Ras is determined to control all elemental powers and is likely planning to use them and the horns together to reach the Source Dragons and tasks Arin and Zane to get the horns far away from Ras' reach while he stays to coach Sora. Arin informs Lloyd that they saw Wu's ghost, and Wu admitted to being the cause of the Merge. Although Lloyd is initially skeptical, he has no choice but to trust Arin. As he and Zane were on their way out, Arin takes one final glare at Ras before exiting. Sora attacks Nokt with all her strength, and just as she's about to win the battle, part of the ground starts to rise, causing her to drop her guard. At that moment, Nokt makes a final attack and defeats Sora.
Meanwhile in the Nether-Space, Kai and Bonzle try to sneak around the remaining Forbidden Five. Kai accidentally kicks a rock, but the two manage to stay out of sight.
Back at the Games Plaza, despite her losing, Lloyd claimed that Sora was better than every Elemental Master ever, him included, but Sora worries that Ras would soon have control of all the powers, hoping Arin and Zane would get the horns. Roby takes the Elemental Cup and absorbs Sora's powers. At this moment, Wyldfyre and Zur arrive and accuse the tournament of being rigged. Bleckt denies the accusations, calling it slander. Wyldfyre reveals that it's true because they have his book in their possession. Bleckt opens his own book and realizes it's a menu from the banquet. Wyldfyre explains Ras' entire plan from the beginning and Bleckt was in on it. First, he sent the Attacker bots after the ninja and Zur to eliminate them because they were Ras' strongest competition and sent a fake one after Ras to throw off suspicion. He also rigged the games in Ras' favor, with nothing too obvious, just slightly in favor of Ras' team, respectively both Nya and Sora’s battles with Nokt. Roby realizes that Zeatrix was right all along that Bleckt was trying to sideline her, and he was also the reason the ninja were not invited from the start.
When Roby asks his uncle why he did it, Bleckt furiously reveals he did it because he thought Roby would bring ruin to the games with his ideas. He conspired with Ras because he promised to get rid of Roby so Bleckt would take his place as the new Games Master. Angered, Roby declares the victory celebration cancelled and orders security to subdue Bleckt. However, Nokt seizes the opportunity and attacks Roby in his vulnerable moment, stealing the Elemental Cup and gaining all the powers. Ras soon advanced with his schemes, but Nokt announced that he was no longer aligned with him. When Ras attempted to activate the control device on Nokt, he quickly discovered it was ineffective. Nokt expressed his disdain for Ras, particularly pointing out his arrogance in failing to foresee the control device's destruction during the confrontation with Sora. At the same time, Rox arrived and disclosed to Ras and everyone else that her being able to take control of Jordana stemmed from her soul's escape from the Nether-Space during the Ritual of the Blood Moon, all of which occurred without anyone's awareness. Both Rox and Nokt disclosed that they were responsible for the deaths of the three Arc Dragons to claim their crowns, which shocked Lloyd and Ras, especially since Lloyd learned that Ras was actually innocent.
Nokt explained that their goal in stealing the crowns was to use the Dragon Ivory and the stolen Elemental Powers to liberate the remaining members of the Forbidden Five, asserting that a Blood Moon ritual was not the sole requirement to open a portal to the Nether-Space. Enraged, Ras' stripes turned red as he vehemently proclaimed that such an act would not take place. He summoned Cinder and the wolf warriors, empowered by the Gong of Shattering, to confront Nokt and Rox, demanding their compliance for the sake of his master's desires at the Cauldron of Realms or else, they would face destruction. However, Rox, the creator of the Wolf Masks, corrupted the Wolf Clan, and by an extent, Cinder, tapping into their true power without the need of the Gong of Shattering, and allowing them to manifest energy claws from their backs. In retaliation, Ras attempted to strike both Rox and Nokt with his hammer, but Nokt countered with Shockwave, pushing Ras back. With the Wolf Clan under their command, Rox ordered them to eliminate everyone in sight as Zur, Wyldfyre, Sora, and Lloyd prepared to fight.

Trivia[]
- It was confirmed by Chris "Doc" Wyatt that Rox used Theroxian magic to take control and empower the Wolf Mask Warriors.[4]
Continuity[]
- Sora taking off the control device from Nokt's head and turning it into a bee is a callback to "Mindless Beasts" where Sora threatens Rapton that if he didn't let her and Zanth go free, that she would turn his Imperium Drones into a swarm of techno bees.
Errors[]
- In the flashback of Nokt and Rox attacking the Matriarch Dragon, Rox already has Jordana's red suit, while in "The Shape of Motion," which chronologically takes place afterwards, she wears her normal Wolf Clan outfit.
- Zarkar is not listed in the credits.
- The Matriarch Dragon shoots red fire, while she breathed green fire in "The Merge: Part 2."
- Although Cinder was under Rox's control, the reason for this is unclear, as Rox was able to control the Wolf Mask Warriors because of their masks, yet Cinder was not wearing one at that time.[5]
