The Ninja Heroes are Missing is the 39th issue of the Ninjago Magazine. It includes 891839 Cole. The comic included is titled New Allies. It released on the 11th of July 2018.
New Allies[]
Ever since Garmadon took over the city, Lloyd and Nya have been on the run. Before they can rescue the other ninja, however, they must first get back to their hideout unharmed. Their track through the crowds of bikers roaming the streets of Ninjago City isn't just observed by Garmadon TV, however. In her tea shop, Mystaké not only follows the movements of Lloyd and Nya, but also those of the Ninja in the Realm of Oni and Dragons. She worries that the lost ninja could quickly become hunted as well.
Meanwhile, in the land of dragons, the Ninja explore the desert around the destroyed Bounty and, after a short hike, come across the nest of a lightning dragon. As Jay and Zane nostalgically reminisce about their prior dragons, Cole notices a group of Dragon Hunters in the distance. Our heroes hide at first, but when they find out that the Dragon Hunters plan to steal the dragon eggs and enslave the babies that hatch from them, they decide to help the dragon and drive the hunters away.
Cole steels the Dieselnaut's wheels to build a hammer to fight against the villains. The rest of the group grabs the remaining bolts, excellent projectiles, and throw themselves into the fray as well. Even as the dragon hunters manage to remove the eggs from the nest, the return of the mother stops them from getting any farther and they flee. This gives the Ninja a chance to roll the eggs back into the nest, and despite a slight misunderstanding, the ninja manage to reunite the mother dragon with her children.
Meanwhile, on the way back to their vehicle, the Hunters realize that the Ninja have stolen parts of their vehicle and change their minds about their retreat. In the second confrontation between the Ninja and the Dragon Hunters, the villains are now trying to steal the car parts back. However, the lightning dragon comes to the rescue of the ninja and, with its help, they drive the hunters away once and for all. Before they set off again, they say goodbye to the dragon and reassure her that she doesn't have to worry about her eggs anymore.
