Plot[]
In Nether-Space, Bonzle and Kai watch the three out of the Forbidden Five argue and leave the area they were in until they leave, taking the fourth member with them. The two jump into that area. In the City of Temples, Lloyd wakes up the rest of the Ninja and they all walk out of their quarters except for Wyldfyre. Lloyd tells her to warm up with the rest of the group but she is reluctant to do so as she has lost her Heat power. Lloyd eventually convinces Wyldfyre to warm up and sees Nya packing her belongings, heading off to find Jay. Nya expresses her worry about Jay shattering his goodness and Lloyd assures her there has to be a way. Lloyd leaves and Nya hears Kai through the Dragon Ivory stone. Riyu picks it up with his mouth and shows it to Nya before establishing a link with her by giving her some of his dragon power, allowing Kai to communicate with her. Kai tells Nya the remaining Forbidden Five are talking to someone outside of Nether-Space and Nya tells him about how she found Jay, but he had lost his memory. Kai and Nya are suddenly unable to communicate before someone breaks into the quarters, and captures Nya and Riyu.
Later, Cole tells Zane about the Monastery he was guided to that night. The Ninja walk into their quarters to see Arin doing some detective work. The group discusses the possible suspects and Cole tells Arin he could find out what the symbol he saw meant in the Temple City Museum. Suddenly, Lloyd gets a vision of Zeatrix with a sword that shatters. Lloyd believes this vision means he will fight Zeatrix and lose.
Arin walks into the Museum and sees a painting of Zarkar before he spots Geo making a statue of Roby. Roby talks about his plans to change the museum and offhandedly mentioned how the Elemental Cup is made from the horns of an Arc Dragon. Arin asks about a painting of the First Games Master, Roake, and he realizes Roby’s cufflink has the same symbol he found.
At the Games Plaza, Sora asks where Riyu went when the games start. Roby announces Frak and Zur as the next two competitors. Frak asks Cole about his Earth power and Cole gives him some helpful advice. Bleckt rings the bell and the game begins. Zeatrix tells Lloyd about her want for revenge on him while he tries to deal with his visions. Zur freezes Frak in place and as he sinks down, Cole reminds him how to use his Earth power. Frak successfully uses the power to lift himself up and defeats Zur with it. Roby transfers Zur's Elemental Powers to Frak. Ras scolds Frak for listening to Cole. Elsewhere, Arin asks Wyldfyre about Roby. Bleckt rings the bell and commences the game. Lloyd fights Arccrack and wins easily. Numerous Elemental Masters fight each other, leaving Lloyd, Frak, Nokt, Zeatrix and Sora in the Tournament.
Roby declares that he planned a bonus game, and announces Lloyd and Zeatrix as the next two competitors. He explains that whoever knocks the other opponent off the platform with a weapon from the Gauntlet will win. Lloyd recognizes the sword from his vision in the Gauntlet and becomes determined to grab it before Zeatrix does. Zeatrix and Lloyd both break an obstacle and grab a weapon. Lloyd uses the power of Size to avoid Zeatrix's attack, leaving Sora to comment on how Lloyd seems to by running more than fighting. The two continue fighting, both clamoring to grab a weapon while Lloyd is destined to grab the sword before Zeatrix uses Figment, in an attempt to confuse Lloyd, until he gets her to talk, mocking her twin sister into revealing which version of her is not a clone. Lloyd almost knocks her off the platform, but instead of landing the final blow, he goes invisible using the power of Light and tries to look for the sword from his visions. Zeatrix finds him using the power of Sound and creates a bomb using the power of Surface Tension and Shockwave. Lloyd shoots the bomb with Energy and the collision causes the floating platform to break, resulting in Roby calling for a short intermission while the platform is being repaired.
Lloyd rests and Sora tells him he is losing to his own fear until she encourages him, using his own words. The Security Bots fix the broken platform and Bleckt rings the bell, recommencing the match as Zeatrix grabs the sword while Lloyd grabs a hammer and uses it, along with the power of Size, to knock Zeatrix off the platform, disappointing Ras and his team. Just as Roby declares Lloyd the winner, Zeatrix flies back up to the platform with the sword raised high and Roby protests. Sora tries to warn Lloyd, who confusingly turned around, only to be struck down, the sword shattering in the process and the hit knocking Lloyd off the platform, leaving him unconscious and Ras laughs ruthlessly as Zeatrix gloats her ruthless action before being arrested by the security bots.
