Synopsis[]
Arin nurses Ras back to health as they continue his training, while the Ninja follow their trail. The group must separate, leading Lloyd, Frak, Sora and Riyu through a treacherous cave.[1]

- Aru's dog is similar to Cole's dog form from "The Forest of Spirits".
- This episode marks the second time a Ninja suit from the original series has shown up in Ninjago: Dragons Rising, the first time being "The Merge: Part 1" with a picture of Lloyd in his Fugitive suit from Crystalized on the wall inside Arin and Sora's penthouse, and in this episode it’s the doll Aru has which depicts Lloyd in his ZX suit from Rise of the Snakes and Legacy of the Green Ninja.
- Frak fearing the Oni could be because he was petrified during the Oni's invasion, or because of stories he heard about it, although it could be the former as he mentions navigating in the Ninjago Sewers.
Errors[]
- It is unclear how Arin was able to change his outfit from his Source Tournament suit to his Merge suit and repaint it as when he went through the Cloud Kingdom portal gate with Ras in "Elements of Betrayal" there was no obvious place where he would've had his older suit.
- Frak mentions that Arin is currently wearing horns on his hood, though he has no way of knowing this given that Arin was last seen in his Source Tournament suit.
