Nya: Mom? Mom, are you okay?
Maya: What happened? Where are we?
Nya: The Temple of Wojira.
Maya: Wojira? Wojira's a myth about a giant sea serpent.
Kalmaar: Go on, pray tell. About these "Keepers", about the Storm Amulet. I am Prince Kalmaar, son of Trimaar, heir to the throne of Merlopia, rightful ruler of the Endless Sea, and I assure you, not someone to be trifled with.
Maya: Well, it's nice to meet you!
Nya: Don't be nice to him, Mom! He's the one who blasted us in the back!
Maya: I'm sure that was just a tiny misunderstanding. We are trespassing in his temple.
Nya: Mom! He's evil!
Maya: Nya! He can hear you!
Kalmaar: Silence! Both of you! Tell me the location of this island, and I will spare your lives.
Nya: What island?
Kalmaar: The Island of the Keepers!
Nya: Keepers of what?
Kalmaar: (He loses his patience and starts yelling.) The Storm Amulet! T-The amulet you were just— (He stops when he sees Nya smiling smugly.) Ha! I will ask one last time. Where is the island?
Nya: Save your breath, Calamari. I'm not telling you anything.
Kalmaar: That's Kalmaar. (He points his trident at them threateningly, but Gripe startles him and causes him to accidentally fire upwards.)
Gripe: My prince! Forgive me, my lord. Did I startle you?
Kalmaar: Of course not. What do you want, Gripe?
Gripe: The king requests your presence in the palace. At once!
Kalmaar: Oh, saved by my meddling father. I look forward to continuing our discussion when I return.
(In the Hydro Bounty, the rest of the ninja try to restart the ship.)
P.I.X.A.L.: Nya, come in. Nya!
Lloyd: How much air supply do they have?
P.I.X.A.L.: At this depth, one hour.
Jay: One hour? We have to help them! (He gets up and walks towards the door.) We have to get this sub fixed and go after them! I-I'm going to zap the battery!
Zane: That would be exceedingly dangerous. The engine room is partially flooded. Even if you could survive it, a charge of the magnitude would be fatal.
Jay: We don't have a choice!
P.I.X.A.L.: Perhaps we do. There is a small chance I can reroute power from life support and auxiliary. But I do not know if it will be enough to jumpstart the battery.
Lloyd: I don't think we have anything to lose, Pix.
(Kalmaar and Gripe enter the throne room.)
Kalmaar: Adopted brother. So good to see you, Bentho! And you, Father. What brings us together this fine tide?
Trimaar: Tell me the rumors aren't true, son.
Kalmaar: What rumors are those?
Trimaar: Rumors of another sunken surface vessel. Tell me you're not sinking ships again to placate your senseless hatred of the surface dwellers?
Kalmaar: (gasps) Another sinking? How tragic! It was not I, I swear it.
Benthomaar: See, father? I told you he didn't. Sometimes their ships just sink on their own. It's very sad.
Trimaar: How does a vessel sink when the seas are calm? When there is no storm in sight?
Kalmaar: They're so poorly built. How could they not? I fear we're not dealing with a very intelligent species.
Trimaar: If I find out you are lying, I will be greatly displeased.
Kalmaar: Hmm, wouldn't want that.
Trimaar: You may go, son.
(Kalmaar growls under his breath as he exits.)
Kalmaar: If my father had any pride at all, any dignity, he'd thank me for sinking their ships!
Gripe: What if he finds out you were lying?
Kalmaar: He won't. Because there will be no evidence. Make them talk! Then get rid of them.
Gripe: As you command.
(In the temple, Nya and Maya continue their attempts to escape.)
Nya: We have to get - (She pulls at the chains.) - out of here!
Nya: Mom, that would never— (She looks up and notices that the top of the pole was damaged by Kalmaar.) Uh, huh. Okay. Well, I guess we could try it. At the same time. (They begin to ascend the pole.) One, two, three! Again.
Maya: It's working!
Nya: One, two, three! One, two, three!
Maya: Almost there! (Suddenly, she slips.)
Nya: No! (She pulls on the binds to stop Maya's fall.)
Maya: Sorry I slipped. I've got it now.
Nya: Okay. One, two, three! And jump! (They escape the pole.) Ha!
Maya: We did it! (She and Nya high five each other.)
Nya: Now to get rid of these.
Maya: Well, one time, when I was the Master of Water—
Gripe: The prisoners are escaping! Attack! (He blasts the two but ends up breaking one of their handcuffs.)
Maya: Oh, that works too.
Nya: Run! (They run in different directions and fall to the ground.) Mom!
Nya: Come on! (She drags Maya in one direction.)
Gripe: Stop them!
(They are blocked off by more Merlopians, but Maya swings Nya around on their other handcuff and they defeat the guards.)
Nya: Wait, hang on. (She picks up a trident.) How does this ... (She accidentally blasts off a chunk of a pole.)
Nya: Sorry, sorry. I've got it now! (She blasts again, this time barely missing Maya.)
Nya: Sorry. Okay, I've actually got it now. (A guard blasts at her and she blocks it with her handcuff, breaking it.) Oh, hey. That's better! Mom, hold still.
Maya: Um, Nya, no. I'm not sure that's such a great— (Nya breaks her handcuff.)
Nya: Now run!
Glutinous: Oh my!
Glutinous: Are you certain that's necessary?
Gripe: If the prince finds out they escaped without revealing the location of the second amulet, what do you think he will do to us? (Glutinous nods and releases the sharks.)
(Back in the Hydro Bounty, the others are still trying to fix the ship.)
P.I.X.A.L.: Zane, try it again.
Zane: Rerouting power, now. (He presses a button, but all the lights go out.)
P.I.X.A.L.: Oh, no.
Zane: I was afraid of that.
Jay: Well, that didn't work. What now?
P.I.X.A.L.: We just used the last of our power. It wasn't enough.
Lloyd: We're taking on water. The sub's flooding! There's gotta be something else we can try.
Jay: While you guys are thinking, I'll go, um, go down and get the oxygen tanks.
Zane: The oxygen tanks? Those are located up here.
Lloyd: He's gonna try and recharge the battery!
(Underwater, Jay swims to the battery and starts to recharge them.)
P.I.X.A.L.: Open the door!
Zane: Jay! Don't do it!
Lloyd: Jay! It's too dangerous!
(Overhead, the lights come back on.)
P.I.X.A.L.: Oh, my.
Zane: He's doing it.
(Jay's eyes start glowing, followed by an explosion that blasts him away from the battery, while the power is restored.)
Lloyd: Jay! Are you there?
Zane: Say something!
(Jay emerges from the room.)
Lloyd: You did it!
Zane: I can't believe it!
P.I.X.A.L.: Say something, Jay!
Jay: Why are you all standing around and staring at me? Let's get this tub of bolts moving.
Lloyd: You heard him. What are we waiting for?
Zane: All hands to stations!
P.I.X.A.L.: Full power!
(In the control room, the ninja take their seats.)
P.I.X.A.L.: All systems are go. The helm is yours, captain.
Zane: (To Jay) No, the helm is yours.
Jay: All ahead. Left full rudder. Set your course on that energy signal.
P.I.X.A.L.: All ahead.
Lloyd: Left full rudder.
(The Bounty powers up and they head towards the energy signal.)
Jay: Hang on, Nya. We're coming.
