"It is revealed that Garmadon's purpose for ruling Ninjago and reaching his True Potential is because of an impending doom he saw while in the Departed Realm. Believing his love for Lloyd to be keeping him from getting stronger, he attempts to give up his love for Lloyd by taking Harumi, the one who revived him, as his daughter."
"He later tells Harumi that while in the Departed Realm, he saw an "eternal night" that could destroy his fathers realm."
Which one of his father's realms? The one he created or the one he was born in?
(Idk if he said it the episode, I was unable to watch it with sound.)
Iron Baron might want to use the Dragon Armor to control Firstbourne so that he can either use her to open a portal to the Departed Realm, and bring back all Oni (that is if he himself is Oni), or Iron Baron with the Dragon Armor might bring about this "darkness" Garmadon was harping over.
Did you guys see in episode 89 I think it was when Lloyd was saying "Please Father. Don't do this" (or something like that) Did you see how Garmadon paused? Maybe he's still got good in him or something?

Well, yeah, episode 90 talked about that and established that it wasn't just the Oni side that came back. Even evil, he still can't let go of his attachment to Lloyd.
I feel like season 9 would be better as a multi-part special, with 4 or 5 40 minute parts. Every episode just seems incomplete, and the cliffhangers come at the worse times. Still, like I said, the season as a whole is good, it's just that they need to refigure their episode rationing formula, and not having badly placed cliffhangers.
