Tiger wasps (short for Venomasicus Tigrus) are a species of wasps that are black in color, with yellow stripes.

When Lloyd, Nya, and Zane entered the entomology room, Nya says that they do not have much time until Cecil and the guards enter the room. She then tells Lloyd not to knock anything over before she ends up knocking the tiger wasp jar over. One of the released wasps flies onto Zane's hand, while the latter identifies it. The same wasp goes on to sting Lloyd's hand. The wasps then chase the ninja across the room. They then attack Cecil Putnam and the security guards when they enter in an attempt to stop them before Cecil manages to escape them. They later went on attacking other members before managing to escape when the doors open.
