The Time Blades are four weapons which are set to appear in Season 7 of Ninjago: Hands Of Time.

These blades are unique compared to other blades seen in Ninjago, because they were inadvertently created by Wu to absorb all the powers of time (Pause, Forward, Reversal, and Slow-Mo.) They would eventually be recovered by the Masters of Time Krux and Acronix, in the hope of recovering their lost power in a bid to conquer Ninjago.

List of Blades

Green/Forward: Accelerates time, giving the target(s) the appearance of enhanced speed.
Red/Pause: Freezes time around the target, leaving them immobilized.
Yellow/Reversal: Reverses time around the target, undoing their actions or getting them out of a dangerous situation.
Blue/Slow-Mo: Slows time around the target.

History

At some point, Ray and Maya created the Time Blades to trap and contain the properties of time. The four blades (Slow-Mo, Reversal, Pause, and Forward) were given to Wu and Garmadon for safekeeping. When the Time Twins turned against the Elemental Masters, Wu and Garmadon stole the element of time from them, using the power to trap the villains in a temporal rift.

Trivia

So far, the Slow-Mo and Forward Time Blades have appeared in three sets, while the Pause and Reversal Time Blades have appeared in two.
