“There was a metal gate, a place we can learn, a teacher to seek out.”

The training plateau of the Dragon Masters[2] is a training ground in the east of the Wyldness.[1][3] It's led by the Dragon Masters Egalt and Rontu, who teach several martial art techniques such as Rising Dragon and Spinjitzu.

History[]

Beyond the Phantasm Cave[]

After the ninja jump into the unknown fog after Kai, they land at the entrance of the training plateau of the Dragon Masters. Lloyd identifies the entrance as the metal gate from his vision, and he expresses his excitement at finding the teacher that can teach them how to fight against Shatterspin. Just then, Egalt roars, and lands before the ninja, who are taken back in surprise.

Force From the East[]

The ninja begin to battle Egalt at the entrance of the training plateau of the Dragon Masters, unaware of his true identity. They eventually discover that the round boulders scattered around the area can be used to weigh down the bucket that they theorize is part of the gate's opening mechanism. They eventually succeed in opening the gate due to their tactics, revealing Rontu.

After exchanging information with one another, Rontu offers to train the ninja to prepare them to fight Ras and the Forbidden Five. Egalt flies to the top of a pillar, and questions Rontu's offer. Rontu flies to the top of the gate and argues against Egalt, who eventually caves in.

The Spell at the Waterfall[]

Egalt and Rontu overlook the ninja fight against each other inside an open area of the training plateau, with Kai and Sora in their respective elemental mechs. After ending the combat demonstration and introducing the Fang Ranking system, the Dragon Masters walk down the stairs towards the ninja to divide them into separate groups.

Rontu brings Sora and Riyu to an area with three floating stone hoops, each one higher than the last. She instructs Sora to spin kick through each hoop, and Sora makes it through the first two hoops but fails on the third. Rontu instructs Riyu to do the same, but he fails on the first hoop. Rontu eventually assures them both that they will learn Spinjitzu from her, which is the purpose of the hoop training.

Egalt brings the rest of the group towards another open area of the training plateau, where he has them do forms as he speaks to them about motion. They meditate as he continues to speak, correcting them when they fail his questions as he paces around the area in a circle.

Back at the hoop training, Riyu continues to fail the first hoop after several more attempts, and a disguised Wyldfyre tries to join the training as she walks down the stairs to the hoops. After being declined the opportunity to train, she turns to walk up the steps once more, as Riyu finally makes it through the first hoop.

Meanwhile, Egalt brings the other group to a new training area of the training plateau, which features a ramp course. The four ninja stand on the ramps in the middle, and eventually begin to use Spinjitzu to traverse around the course, practicing awareness of each other's motion. The ninja begin to do various types of tricks on the ramps and outer ring, until getting upset at each other and angering Egalt. After starting up again, Arin crashes into Lloyd, throwing him to the outer ring of the training course. Egalt disciplines Arin and dismisses the class.

To Mysterium[]

Lloyd, Nya, Kai, and Arin train with dragon hooks in forest with Egalt. Sora and Riyu still trying to learn Spinjitzu with Rontu. Wyldfire is bored, her leg still hurted. After training, Arin practices Object Spinjitzu. Arin doesn't believe in himself, but Lloyd encourages him.

The next day, Kai and Nya learning rising dragon technique with Egalt. During this, a quarrel occurs between siblings. Wyldfyre spends time with an imaginary friend, but suddenly Egalt arrives and Wyldfyre goes to him. A conversation takes place between Egalt and Wyldfyre. Riyu and Sora try to find harmony with Rontu. Sora thinks she's doing everything opposite. Rontu motivates her.

Entrance[]

FFTE 380

The entrance of the training plateau is composed of a massive metal gate adorned with dragon head detailing. Each side of the gate features a large dragon head statue made of stone, matching the rest of the wall. Large stone pillars are scattered in this area's courtyard, along with spherical boulders that play a part in the gates opening mechanism, comprised of a weighted bucket. The entire area maintains the plateau's color scheme of gold and gray, as almost everything made of stone has gold detailing.

Training area 1[]

SATW 156

The first training area of the training plateau is composed of three floating stone hoops, each one higher than the last. The hoops are composed of a scale-like design mimicking a dragon's long body circling upon itself. The hoop training is dedicated to the learning of Spinjitzu, the first stage of learning Rising Dragon technique. This area also maintains the plateau's color scheme of gold and gray.

Training area 2[]

SATW 285

The second training area of the training plateau is composed of a circular ramp course comprised of an outer ring and inner ramps. The outer ring creates a bowl for Spinjitzu users to coast upon, while the inner ramps allow Spinjitzu users to launch from one side to another. The hoop training is dedicated to the early learnings of Rising Dragon technique, as students must navigate the course without colliding into one another. This area also maintains the plateau's color scheme of gold and gray, although adds brown due to the ramp course being wooden.

Training area 3[]

DRS2E6 (11,5)

The third training area of the training plateau is composed of a pit with multiple pillars within it. The pillars reach all the way to the surface, allowing students to traverse across them at the same altitude as before. The area is dedicated to the mastery of balance, a key principle of both Spinjitzu and Rising Dragon technique. This area also maintains the plateau's color scheme of gold and gray.

Training area 4[]

DRS2E6 (209)

The fourth training area of the training plateau is composed of two floating stone hoops (identical to those seen in the first training area) on opposite ends of the area from one another. In the center of the training area is a pile of small and spherical boulders, intended for students to throw into each other's hoop to score in a game. The training in this area is dedicated to applying quick thinking, Spinjitzu, and an understanding of motion to students' movement. This area also maintains the plateau's color scheme of gold and gray.

Training area 5[]

FFM36

The fifth training area of the training plateau is composed of a trio of pillars equally spaced from one another in a triangle formation. The pillar training is dedicated to the learning of Spinjitzu, the first stage of learning Rising Dragon technique. This area also maintains the plateau's color scheme of gold and gray.
