Traveler's Tea berries are berries in the Never-Realm that are from the Traveler's Tree. It has the ability to open portals.

History[]

Krag's Lament[]

Following a vicious battle with Cole, Krag brought the defeated Ninja of Earth to his dwelling to recover. Krag would later return with branches from the Traveler's Tree bearing berries for Cole to eat. Unfortunately, Cole had awoken just moments before and in a panic, he attacked Krag with his Earth Punch, pinning Krag beneath a stalactite and and scattering the branches. After Cole realized his mistake, he returned to help Krag, who motioned that he had brought the berries for Cole to eat. Wary, Cole pretended to eat one and instead deposited it into the pack on his back.

Krag would later guide Cole to the Traveler's Tree, where berries were seen growing on the tree.

After returning from the tree, Krag would be attacked by Nya and Jay, who had mistaken Cole's earlier screaming to be an indication that Krag had hurt Cole. During the brief scuffle, Krag threw one of the berry bearing branches he had brought back earlier at Nya and Jay.

Awakenings[]

Days after the Liberation of the Never-Realm, the Ninja sought to return to Ninjago using the leaves that Cole had collected from the Traveler's Tree,. Unfortunately, they would learn from Sorla that the leaves alone were insufficient to allow the Ninja to return over such a great distance between realms. As she mused that they needed something more potent, Cole remembered the berry he had placed inside his pack and offered it to Sorla, who then used the berry to create the portal to Ninjago.

Appearance[]

They appear red and can open portals, just like Traveler's Tea, but the portal is pink instead of blue. They can be used as an alternative to the tea. They can also be eaten.
