The comic is set after "Versus".
This is the first Ninjago: Legacy Magazine comic to take place during the Tournament of Elements, the second being Clash of Masters!
This comic can't be considered canon because it features Gravis and Bolobo on the surface of Chen's island although they should already be working at the Chen's Noodle factory.

Errors[]

The ninja are wearing their Zukin GI, although the comic takes place in a period of time where they didn't get those yet.
In the first page of the comic, Neuro's faceprint and hairpiece are wrong.
