|“Either way, they're gone. There's work to be done. All Vermillion stand down. Return to the Dome immediately.”|
|— Blunck, "Out of the Fire and Into the Boiling Sea"|
The Vermillion Dome of Doom is a large structure located in the Vermillion Swamps. It serves as the headquarters of Krux and Acronix, and it is also where the Iron Doom super-weapon was constructed by the Vermillion. The entire structure resembles a giant Vermillion egg.
After the Ninja discover Dr. Saunders' true identity as Krux, the Time Twins and their Vermillion troops were forced to relocate from Krux's lab at the Ninjago Museum of History to the Vermillion Swamps. There, Krux and Acronix create a large headquarters for them and their troops, as well as a staging ground for the Iron Doom's construction.
The Time Twins scolded Raggmunk and Blunck for losing the Time Blade from the Ninja. The Commanders plan to trade Cyrus for the Blade, but don't give him away. Krux reminded them the Ninja would be able to find the Dome's location, as well as their plans.
The Army brings Wu and the Time Blades to the Dome.
Later, Cyrus tried stalling but Machia threatened him.
After Cyrus finished the apparatus, Machia took him away to stop him from sabotaging it.
When the Vermillion thought the Ninja are gone, Blunck and Raggmunk commanded the Vermillion to go to the dome, The Ninja used disguises to go in to destroy the Iron Doom, but were too late.
In the Swamplands, Krux and Acronix built their new headquarters: The Vermillion Dome of Doom. The massive egg-shaped silo stands at the epicenter of the Vermillion camp and is surrounded by barracks, mess hall, prison center and armory production. The Dome also housed the Iron Doom before it disappeared in time.
