Vipers (also known as mini-snakes[1][2][3][4]) are recently-hatched Serpentine[5] each appearing in different colors that correspond with their tribes. When they get old enough, their arms grow and the tail turns into legs, turning them into the Serpentine children.[6]

When Nadakhan transported Flintlocke into a desert, Flintlocke saw two Red Vipers before wishing to go some place cooler.
Rise of the Snakes[]
Hypno Vipers accompanied the Hypnobrai tribe when Lloyd unlocked the Hypnobrai Tomb and when the tribe attacked Jamanakai Village.
Home[]
Hypno Vipers accompanied the Hypnobrai in the tomb during the Slither Pit duel between Skales and Slithraa.
Snakebit[]
Four Red Vipers were in the crowd of Fangpyre attacking Ed & Edna's Scrap N Junk.
Never Trust a Snake[]
Two Hypno Vipers and two Red Vipers were in the crowd of Hypnobrai and Fangpyre when they were chasing Lloyd.

Trivia[]
- The tribe with the most vipers in the sets is the Fangpyre tribe, with a total of three vipers.
- Vipers only have a few appearances in the TV series despite being a prominent element in the Rise of the Snakes sets.
- Only Hypno Vipers and Red Vipers are the only vipers to have appeared in the TV series.
- In the sets they're used as weapons.
- The lever seen to open the door to the Hypnobrai Tomb in "Rise of the Snakes" has a resemblance to a viper.
- In "Tick Tock," the young Great Devourer is shown to have a similar appearance to a Toxic Viper.
- Although they look like ordinary snakes, there are also normal snakes in Ninjago[7] as can be seen in the "Spellbound" flashback.
- The Anacondrai serpent could be a viper with a mutation.[8]
