“They are carrion birds. It is a sign they believe we are a potential meal...”

Vultures are a type of scavenging bird of prey that feed primarily on carrion. They are known to reside within the Desert of Doom.

History[]

Season 3: Rebooted[]

Blackout[]

When Lloyd comes across a baby Ravture alone in the mountains, Master Garmadon told him to let it be. Lloyd was about to move on when he sees the bird falling and helps it. Its father arrives and attacks Lloyd and Garmadon, but Lloyd was able to save him. He then sees the baby fall and tries to help, but was relieved to see it fly on its own.

Season 11: Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu[]

The Belly of the Beast[]

A pair of vultures encircled the ninja, who had been left stranded atop a large rock in the Desert of Doom after being pursued there by Beohernie and were now exposed to the brutal heat and humidity of the desert. Jay spotted the pair and remarked that their presence could not have been a good sign, leading Zane to further clarify that the presence of the vultures suggested that they viewed the ninja as a potential meal after they were to expire.

The next morning, the pair of vultures continued to encircle the ninja, waiting patiently for their demise.
