- Although this dog never appeared in the show, it was included in two sets.
- The dog is similar to Wu's chicken because both are Wu-owned animals that can fight.
- It uses a crossbow as a weapon.
- It is called "Sensei Wu's dog" in its original set description. While the set referred to Wu by the "Master" title, he was still called "Sensei" in the show at that point. The reason for these discrepancies is unknown.
- In 71741 Ninjago City Gardens, the dog is still called Sensei Wu's dog, although in 2021 Wu is called the master.
- Similarly to Wu's Academy, its current name can be considered "Wu's dog" to avoid possible inconsistencies.
